The ER staff was friendly and calming as well as being good at what they do. It's all you can ask for in an emergency situation.

The ladies in the pre-op lab for your pre-op screening you're awesome
Was referred here for an ultrasound of my heart and a holter monitor. I have a latex allergy, though mild the longer my skin is in contact with latex the worse my reaction gets. The information was all over the referral my doctor sent in, because I was sitting in the office when they sent over the fax to Rose. However, I end up with tape all over my chest and stomach to hold the electrodes in place for the monitor, the minute the tape is on my skin I feel itchy. Next day I had to rip off the tape on my chest because it had become unbearable. Red rashes and puffy skin was what I found under the tape. After removing the middle electrode from my chest I felt a chemical burn sensation and even more itchy skin irritation. A rash/burn was left by the middle membrane portion of the electrode after it was removed from my skin. I really have to wonder if they read the referral or their own registration office's notes where I also said I have a latex allergy. When logging into the healthone it says no known allergies, so apparently no one paid attention.
Quick, efficient, and friendly staff. UPDATE: happy with response to my mammogram inquiry!
We had our baby born here and the entire experience has been fantastic. They did just a great job from day one to discharge. The nurses are extremely attentive and caring. Carol the lactation consultant was the best! Thank you so much!!!
They were very friendly but the radiologist didn t answer the referring doc s question that was in order I provided.
Everyone made a somewhat stressful experience easier and ultimately uneventful, I would like to thank the staff and doctors for their kindness and professionalism.
Dr Lara ... Thanks for the joke of service you gave me. And 2 the girls and the charge nurse you all have no respect.Pull up your pants and act like normal people. Yeah that means do you Job and that's exactly why everyone needs to avoid this place like the plague. Real talk
The online registration really helps speed things up on arrival when you are having a procedure. Everyone is friendly, helpful and informative. They are very organized. You are informed of what is going to happen before it happens. It is comfortable. They strive to make sure the patient is comfortable. The care I received was excellent. I highly recommend Rose Medical Center and their staff.
I delivered my first baby here and had a great experience! We ll definitely come here again for future children. Also, I recommend the chocolate cake!
While treatments at Rose are not something to look forward to, the care is enough to take any worries away!
My care was great. I was taken to the ER by ambulance and received in a very timely manner. My nurse John was exceptional. The ER physician Dr. Ryan took the time to sit with us and throughly explain what was going on and the results of the testing. Never a fun place to be, but they made it tolerable.
I went in for surgery last week, everything went well and it was a clean facility with mostly kind staff.
Before my surgery I had spoken to several hospital personal who said I would need to bring my deductible which I understood. I specifically asked if there would be any other payment at that time and they said no. I even asked if they had any estimate about the cost after copay and they said no.
The morning of surgery I checked in and payed my deductible and then was called back into billing where I was told I would need to pay a small difference of almost 3000 dollars. After talking to billing for 20 mins I was able to pay this off later and went to sit with my husband before before my procedure, the entire time anxiously trying to go through my insurance information on my phone. I am understood I would need to pay a copay after the deductible but I do not understand the patient care method of asking a patient for this right before surgery when they have never been told such a large number. It made me incredibly anxious and was poor patient care, rose either needs to explain this is the many phone calls to patients before surgery or wait for billing after.
I visited here my relative and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very professional, courteous and personable.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE after dealing with the nurses on the 5th floor I will definitely be calling patient services.
Wonderful doctor and staff during hip replacement surgery. Top notch care!
I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. I came in for a scheduled surgery at 6am and was instantly greeted by a helpful and happy receptionist followed by an amazing nursing staff in the preop department. My anesthesiologist was caring and very thorough and my Dr is simply the best. I am resting on the 6th floor with some excellent nurses that are attentive and compassionate....and the food?! Delicious. I would recommend this hospital to anyone!
Everyone from Valet to the Discharge Assistant was incredible. I will never hesitate to recommend them in the future.
The experience at Rose Medical was absolutely top notch! Having surgery and having to stay for a few days after is very stressful, but everyone from the receptionist that checked me in to the volunteer that wheeled me out we re amazing! A very special thanks to the nurses who cared for me! You are absolutely appreciated! You were perfect at your job, everyone of you! Every person that helped me was 100, and I could not be more thankful to them!
Well-trained courteous, efficient staff in comfortable setting
Could not have had a more amazing experience! The nursing staff in particular is absolutely excellent. Kate and Paige were with us during the delivery. They were calm, reassuring, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. They put me and my partner at ease during the hiccups that inevitably came along during our birth. I knew I was in good hands the entire time. I was happy Paige was there the moment my daughter was born, she was such a calming presence
Emilia and Sara took care of during our postpartum stay. We were exhausted and with the weight of having our first newborn baby on our shoulders. They were absolutely wonderful and gave us great care and education on how to care for our little one. We left feeling confident, somewhat rested, and ready thanks to them.
These four women made a special moment in our lives even better because their care allowed us to be less stressed and focus on the important things, namely our little daughter. I will forever remember them for this reason.
The doctor, nurses, and entire staff were amazing. All smiles, willingness to help, answer questions, and just talk for a minute. This was not my first hospital stay but it was my BEST! The facilities are amazing and I contribute my fast healing to your staffs extreme care.
Absolutely love this place! Ive been taking my son here since he was a newborn and have had nothing but great experiences each time. The nurse hotline comes in handy and the nurses are extremely nice and helpful!!! Thanks Rose!
Very helpful and sympathetic tech. Bed comfortable. Bathroom convenient
Great medical team, Javier Fisher is a great anesthesiologist, Dennis Chang, excellent traumatologist, John Maxfield, excellent physician assistant and great support, my hip surgery was a success.
The visit was for my husband who had a liver biopsy. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind.
First time in this hospital I was greeted by a lovely team of nurses and doctors and I just wanted to say Amanda keep up the good work thank you
The staff/providers/doctors/surgeons with whom I have interacted were so friendly and good at what they do. They provided me with very pleasant experiences - as much as possible anyway. :) BUT... The check-in area handles *all* check-ins for the hospital's appointments, from simple visits to complex surgery, so it's usually a long and grueling process. You must wait in line at the desk to sign in and answer some questions. Then, you must wait to get called in to register. The wait for registration can be five minutes to over an hour, and once in registration, the process can take five minutes to a half-hour. THEN, you must walk to your appointment location, near or far, and check in there ten to fifteen minutes (or up to two hours for surgery) before your scheduled time and wait some more. The poorly designed and poorly executed check-in process is unpredictable, redundant, time-consuming, and wasteful over all. In this respect, I highly prefer other Denver medical centers/hospitals over Rose.
I loved the Staff as I delivered my 4th child here. The best staff I've ever had with a delivery! However, they move you right at you have your baby to the recovery/post pardon room. to where it is NOT nice at all. Is very small and super noisy I must have been just above the kitchen or something, I heard what sounded like pots and pans clanking all night long, both nights! no sleep for me, especially with a newborn and me trying to recover after a traumatic experience!
Drew (in the ER) was fantastic! She was concerned and very informative. She explained the procedure fully. Performed the procedure and provided information needed for a complete recovery. The ER was also very clean. Everyone there was extremely careful to provide a feeling of security during this time of COVID. The entire hospital is wonderful!
Nursing in the ICU could not have better! I was impressed!!
Wow! Last week it was my left leg and this week my right leg where vericose veins were cauterized and shut down. I didn't have the kind that you typically see and they were beneath the skin. The procedure for me was literally painless and I felt immediate results. The next day I shoveled snow without any back or leg pain and I felt young again! Don't worry. I didn't go wild I just shoveled the snow normally. I'm already walking better and I feel energized because I now have regular blood flow. If you have vericose veins please see your doctor and have them send you to Rose Medical. I'm so glad I did!
Worst place to have a baby the nurses are rude your lucky if you get one decent one who actually cares about yours and the baby s well being! The hospital is digusting it s worst then staying at a getto motel!
I have never been treated with more dignity and respect as a patient than I was at Rose.
This was my first surgery and from start to finish the experience at Rose was top notch. Check-in was very easy and personable. Kyle and Diane did a great job getting me prepared and ready for what to expect. I was actually nervous about the IV and it was minimal pain (easier than drawing blood) and left me with no bruising. The doctors and surgeons were incredible. I can t say enough good things about Dr. Bateman. He was fantastic. Dr. Sara the anesthesiologist spent time with me and answered all my questions. The recovery nurses were great. I was extremely thankful for the team that took care of me. I would highly recommend Rose Medical Center.
From check in until discharge I was very happy with the care, compassion, and information received from everyone who took part in caring for me.
It made my whole experience less stressful, these folks are here for you!
I spent my Saturday morning in the ER with severe unexplained abdominal pain. I left the ER on Saturday afternoon with severe unexplained abdominal pain.
Everyone was wonderful and I got right in and didn't have to wait very long to see someone or to get lab results. I love Rose!
Everyone who worked here was beyond nice and helpful to me. If I wasn t so far from Rose I d have myself and my family cone to you guys for everything. I ve always gone to Lutheran Hospital (Wheat Ridge) and they re TERRIBLE. My mom kept telling everyone at Rose that they should teach other hospitals how to communicate with their patients. And it s true!
Excellent patient services from staff from the check-in to the testing procedure.
From the minute we drove up to the hospital entrance, we were met by a polite, friendly valet attendant who directed us to the entrance. As soon as we walked into admissions, we were promptly taken care of and assisted with filling out our information form. We were then taken to the imaging area, where again we were politely checked in. We waited for a short time and then were led to the area of my MRI. My attendant was very polite, informative, and very professional. Our whole impression of your facility was excellent. I have been in so very many hospitals in Colorado and I can honestly say yours was the cleanest, most efficient, and impressive in every aspect. Thank you for making, what could have been a very frightening and unpleasant experience a respectful event that left me feeling blessed to have my procedure done at Rose Medical Center.
Sincerely,
Virginia Edwards
Absolutely perfect experience from the moment we arrived. Rose is THE BEST! Thank you to all the amazing doctors and nurses and hospital staff for making our stay so comfortable.
I have been to their ED and L&D service. Both with no waiting, excellent care from providers and no billing issues. Very happy with Rose.
Staff on top of things, most were communicating and helpful with needs and information. Made surgery as pleasant experience as possible.
Great experience, staff was friendly and did a great job explaining the procedure.
CAT scan at Founders Bldg was very efficient, on schedule, and quick.
Every person I came into contact with was flat out superior in skill, communications, knowledge, thoroughness to the staff of every other hospital in Denver. Denver has some fine hospitals and my saying this means Rose is on pedestal! Superb Treatment in every way.
NEVER use this hospital for their ER. I was there for under 90 minutes due to an allergic reaction and was charged OUTRAGEOUSLY. If you have ANY other options, use them. 0/10 would never recommend.
The hospital looks really nice but beware of the FEDEX drobox I lost a package here, I dropped in the drop box on February 8th or 9th, 2019 at it was never delivered and never showed tracking. FedEx does not have a way to prove that a package was dropped in these boxes so you are on your own when you use them be careful.
Our son was born at Rose and we could not have been more impressed with the staff and birthing facilities. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.
My granfather has been here 9 times and been treated very well
I gave birth on January 17, 2019 to my daughter. I had a bad experience previous to labor and delivery to where a nurse named Carrie threaten cps on my husband and I and then come to find out in post partum they were supposed to teach my husband and I how to clean the nose and gums. And they never did.. I m very disappointed in the staff in all parts of the hospital.
I had excellent care and highly recommend this hospital.
NOT FOR CANCER SURVIVORS!!!!!
I have been a patient of Rose Medical Center for over 5 years since my initial Breast Cancer diagnosis and Mastectomy. I have had multiple surgeries at Rose and have never had any issues.
I was scheduled to have a breast reconstructive surgery done in April when Covid hit and all surgeries were canceled.
I recently was able to book the surgery only to find out that within the past few weeks HealthONE facilities have stopped carrying Alloderm, a product that is NECESSARY for my surgery.
The only other hospital that my surgeon can perform the surgery at is a Centura facility and they do not accept my particular Cigna plan, so now......after waiting weeks and weeks and setting up someone to drive me, take care of my kids, taking the time off work and generally wrapping my head around another painful surgery, it had to be canceled.
I am FURIOUS!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE your hospital and the Health One system is leaving patients like me and ME without ANY options, we have been through hell, my breasts are gone, my reconstruction FAILED and now I cannot do anything to fix it, I am in PAIN daily!!!!!!
YOU ARE FAILING people!!! Because it's expensive? that is not OK the surgery is $138,000 I am PRETTY SURE that cost is being passed on to me and my insurance, HUNDREDS of people are being affected and that's just at ROSE, not to mention all other HEALTH one facilities.
you should be ashamed of yourself and your executive team!
I have nothing but great things to say about Rose Medical Center. My wife and I just had our first child there and were treated amazing. The whole staff was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend anyone to deliver their child there. Thank you nurse Patti you were super helpful!!!
I had a follow up with my Orthopedic surgeon, to see how my leg and knee look. Becca and Dr. Larkin are fantastic!!! I was so lucky that Dr. Larkin was in the ER when I messed up my leg!!!
A very mixed experience for baby number #2. My wife was well cared for during our stay. However, the Rose lactation consultant gave us bad advice . Our baby wasn t latching or eating properly due to a lip tie (which the LC missed completely). Ended up at the Children s Hospital NICU two days after we were discharged from Rose, due to baby s inability to eat. Had a few nice conversations with Rose s patient advocate, Claudette. However, in the end, Rose has taken the stance that none of this is their fault. I tend to disagree. On a side note, the accommodations for dad s sleeping over are sub-standard no extra towels, no shampoo, no soap, no cot (for the first 4 hours at least), and no table in our recovery room. Really no place for dad at all.
I like everything about the place except the fact that I pre-registered on the phone so I wasn't expecting to have to fill out any paperwork. I still had to fill out forms.
I was in Monday through Wednesday Suzanne was night nurse and Amberly and Madison worked days. I got such good care . Everyone was really nice but the nurses went above and beyond.
Lack of knowledge within hospitals of where to get help and information. No coordination between Drs. and hospital. Pre registration is a nightmare and then they don't know where it is and you start almost over. The procedures are difficult enough, but the pre registration is exhausting and I am still waiting for a call back. People offer to help, but when you ask for it they usual y don't have answers George Richard Friedman
My brother was born here and I was very impressed with the sevice.
I had my first baby girl at Rose and the staff was amazing. From there doctors to nurses they showed so much care and comfort. Thank you all! Jill was one of our nurses and she was so helpful and attentive!
Employees are so kind and helpful, and always make me feel comfortable.
I had imaging done over a month ago. Two facilities have requested those medical records be sent over with no response from Rose medical center. I, myself have called in several occasions. I paid my large co pay at the time of the ultrasound. Now; my surgery is two weeks away and without the images I will either have to reschedule my surgery or redo the ultrasound for new images at my surgeries facility. This is insane seeing as though I paid over $100 for the co pay for the images from rose in the first place. My Dr has requested the images be sent over and so have I. I went to the website to request the medical records be sent over as well and faxed over the request form. It makes no sense for not one person at Rose to not care enough to just send over the records!
I ws sent a response from Rowe medical center responding to my initial review which is in the first paragraph. I was given the director of images name and personal phone number. I called her immediately and had her send over the images to my surgeons office who confirmed they received the fax and would add it to my file. It s now two weeks later and the day of my surgery and my surgeons office just called to inform me that the director of images didn t actually send over the images and just sent a record over so now two hours before I was scheduled to check in for my surgery, it s been cancelled. I m beyond angry, emotional, sad, disappointed. I was looking forward to living a life without all to the issues I m having. I can t believe this is happening when I ve done nothing but be proactive and tried to best I could.
In anticipation of a not-so-comfortable procedure, I was treated by the admission's staff and the technician with such kindness, compassion and gentleness. I highly recommend this medical center.
Excellent doctors, nurses and staff. Very compassionate care. It could not be better. Thank you all.
I will start by saying the nursing staff had been nothing but excellent. If it where not for what I am about to explain this would be a 5 star review. Unfortunately I can not give that the experience with getting appropriate meds approved for my fiance has been one of the biggest headaches we have ever dealt with. From the nighttime cardaligoist not willing to even consider medication that has worked for her on several occasions to the placement of her feeding tube has been an absolute disgrace for your hospital. Now I am sitting here watching her suffer in severe pain and nothing can be done because of one person who is not properly educated on the administration of pain killers. This is less then addiqute healthcare and needs to be addressed.
Terrible experience. As a healthcare professional myself, I expect myself and my family to receive great care and empathy, as any patient should. Mom had a knee replacement - received a type a pain med that was stated NOT TO BE GIVEN multiple times, rude, unprofessional staff, and received an infection while in the hospital. Mom told me that the nurse removed stitches WITHOUT gloves and had no genuine concern for her pain in the process. The list, unfortunately, goes on and on. I recommend HIGHLY, NOTTTT to receive care at this facility.
Receptionist said don't understand what I have said then cut my call. I just wanted to ask only the patient can't use phone really
I would highly recommend Rose Medical to anyone who asked. Staff was exceptional and the attention to hygiene was very apparent.
Scary enough to go to an ER not once but twice with Covid going around.
I was having excruciating abdominal pains, dry heaving and nausea.
I understand there s a pandemic but other illnesses are just as serious.
2nd visit in less than 2 weeks and all they could do is pump me full of pain medicine and release me. I went stumbling out of the emergency room entrance. No recollection of where I was.
If my husband hasn t been there to see me who knows where I would have ended up and what could have happened to me.
Extremely dangerous and irresponsible to release a patient under those circumstances. You should be ashamed of yourselves
Amazing experience! I had a very long labor with some minor complications, the staff was on top of everything and made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of!
Check in went smoothly, EXCEPT for the lack of seating, (knee replacement), Surgery done and back in the room by 1:00 p.m., did 2 laps around the nurses station the day of surgery. 2 more laps and a flight of stairs the next day, discharged about 2:00 p.m.. Treated very well, food was great, try the Teriyaki Trout. ALL staff, Doctors, Nurses, were very courteous and professional, never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for responses as needed.
Very caring staff. Wait time was minimal and procedure professional and personal. I would recommend Rose Breast Center to everyone.
I love the spacious room we were put in after the baby delivery. The nurses were nice. The room well cleaned and maintained. I recommend going here for future reference. From Prenatal visits to baby deliveries this is the place.
If you need a mammogram or MRI, this is the best place to go. It's clean they are efficient and professional making everything flawless.
I had a very good experience at Rose Medical facility. From the admissions personal to the pre op nurses ,to the post op nurses and PT personal. And of course my surgical staff were fantastic. Dr Caufield gave me a new knee, gave me an active retirement life.I can't thank them all enough.
The staff was amazing and made my c-section delivery experience so much better.
Every single person was delightful. I spend the most time with my post-op nurses and they were kind, prompt and made me feel like family. My surgeon and his team were knowledgeable, explained the process thoroughly, but also had me laughing and totally at ease. Can I say that we re it not for the surgery, the experience would be considered fun!
I had an excellent experience at Rose Medical Center. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and attendant, and the food is surprisingly delicious.
The medical care was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future. The Accounting Department leaves a lot to be desired. I'm already asked to pay the bill even though I provided the correct information that I have complete insurance coverage from two sources.
They did nothing for my husband. He stayed for 2 nights with severe stomach pain flared intestines. Some kind of colitis which they couldn't figure out which one. They wouldn't feed him those 2 nights then charged us $35,000 and their charity didn't help us even those our income was in their guidelines! Then they think we can pay that off within 12 months which is realistic that would be like $3500 payments a month!
Great customer service in all areas- front desk, billing, nurses and providers!
I was treated with respect, concern and knowledgeable care by all levels of staff. Rose Medical is a top flight facility and has every reason to be proud of what they provide to patients.
Dr Keil has a great facility in which to operate, with excellent pre and post op follow up.
Superior nursing care!
During my father's recent stay in the Rose ICU the care was very substandard. When I was growing up in Denver in the 1960s and 1970s Rose was considered one of the finest hospitals in the area, if not the finest. It no longer comes close to deserving this reputation. The nursing care was quite good, but that's the only real positive thing I can say. The hospitalist who cared for my father was brusque and initially refused to contact the doctors who had been seeing my father for years - because they work for a different hospital system (University of Colorado Anschutz). He aggressively pushed hospice care (again, having established no relationship with my father), then when my father refused, essentially threatened him with painful, intrusive procedures, saying that the choice was either hospice or aggressive treatment (clearly not true). My father ended up at Rose because the ambulance drivers didn't want to deal with the rush hour traffic and Rose was closer to my father's home. The hospitalist went off service the day before my father was to be discharged, without letting us know. The day of discharge we came into the hospital to find that the new doctor on service did not yet have hospital privileges, which means he had just been hired. He had no familiarity with any of the patients he was covering and clearly could barely function. By the time he saw my father they had rushed through his privileges, so he was able to write the discharge orders. But by this time it was 2:30pm and we had to scramble to make arrangements to transport my father home with the appropriate support. The new doctor wrote several prescriptions for my father on discharge, but the pharmacy wouldn't fill them because he wasn't yet in their system. We had to contact Rose to get a credentialed doctor to cosign so we could get my father's medications. Some time in the last few years, Rose was purchased by Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), a for profit, publicly traded company. They're primary loyalty has to be to their stock holders - it's clearly not to their patients.
Wonderful staff and great care. I even got a sweet card from my whole care team a week later. The facility is beautiful and I felt like I was staying in a hotel! Highly recommend.
All of my preoperative care: lab work, CXR, mammogram and exam by my PCP were accomplished efficiently in one day. As I live an hour from RMC, this was greatly appreciated.
I just love Rose Hospital Everyone I met was courteous and very helpful from the time I arrived until I left the building. Kudos to Dr Matt Metz and his great team.. I would reccomend Rose Hospital to anyone that needs medical care.
