Last time I was a bit disappointed as I had to pass on my favourite huge serving of mash and chicken schnitzel....there was deep fried whole barramundi. How can I resist whole fish...that's not fair. However, the sides with the fish could be a bit bigger...may be a bowl of rice

A popular local club with a great bistro. We have used this club auditorium for dancing competitions and have frequented the bistro may times. The food is delicious with ample servings and lots of variety at very reasonable pricing. The staff are friendly and helpful. Usual bar prices and parking is good.

I received my birthday voucher for the free dinner in the Zest restaurant. There was only 1 night in the entire month to attend, so we decided to arrive early to beat the rush. We arrived at 550 pm to find a queue stretching all the way back & around the corner, must've been at least 80 people already waiting. We left immediately as a free meal wasn't worth waiting that long for. Drove down to the Lone Pine Tavern instead for a great inexpensive meal. How about the "Management" consider any night Monday to Friday to use these vouchers ??

Rooty Hill RSL has had a massive refurb. It looks great! There are a variety of food options available including a 1kg steak! You can even add a half a lobster to it!!! It's not your average club/pub grub so it cost a little more but totally worth every dollar.

Had simple meal , expensive but ordinary .Played state of the art gaming machines , that swallow money at a rate of knots , only an advanced machine like these would be capable . It was a pleasant experience all the same and most certainly worth a look. No regrets

Steak & Co terribly overpriced.

Steak & Co terribly overpriced.
Thai was nice with good portions and reasonable cost.
If you're a pokies nut you'll love it.

Excellent venue, with a wide and quality range of food options and large gaming floor with digital blackjack, a physical roulette table and even a poker section it's almost like a mini casino. With live entertainment sometimes on Friday and Saturday nights that is when it is most packed with a predominantly older crowd, which is normal for an RSL club. However the way the food works is a hassle, it seems the way all newly renovated clubs are doing it these days, with different foods coming from different little shops inside, like a foodcourt at a shopping centre. This system makes it difficult for a family or group of people to order different foods making them line up and wait at seperate places if one wants a steak and another wants a pizza etc, then also receiving the food at different times. A buzzer and retrieval system still in place, this venue could benefit from a deliver to table system. Perhaps using table numbers with a GPS, how some other clubs in western Sydney are doing it who also have a foodcourt layout.

Awesome place. Love the work they are doing to it. They are really bringing together the area with their amazing design of building. The service is incredible and the staff are friendly and reliable. Even though there is work being done all the time they cater to the needs of the trafgic coming through. Great work guys.

Fantastic staff very helpful and friendly. Food was disappointing potatoe gems cold and sweet potatoes hot but not crispy. Didn't have time to take the food back as we had to wait some time and then we ran out of time due to the start of the concert.

Parking was good, Security kept the Carpark traffic moving so exiting was a dream.
The Coliseum theatre is a good venue but it didn't feel like the air conditioning was working. Ushers need to stop people yapping throughout the show .

Dinner from the Thai area wasn't much to speak of other then that the Pad Thai wasn't very nice at all, very bland, over priced for what was served.

The icing on the cake was when a patron vomited in the eating area and staff ignored the mess other then putting a sign up saying the floor was wet.

How unappetizing was the rest of our meal with the aroma of vomit invading our nostrils and ruining the rest of our meal.

Service standards in the food areas need to be lifted if the club wants to appeal to customers.

2/10 For the meal, not very appealing at all.

No score for the staff leaving the vomit mess in the food area, pure laziness

Your typical club full of poker machines and nothing to write home about. Called in recently and it didn't impress me one bit. It's clean enough, it just doesn't have any atmosphere. Bars and poker machines is what this place is full of, and not much else. They do have a bistro to eat at, however, it's not your typical good value club meals, it's restaurant prices. If you're looking to rest your feet in air conditioned comfort whilst having a flutter on the machines, then check it out. Other than that, give it a miss.

Coming from Perth to NSW for a wedding we were looking forward to going to Rooty Hill RSL as we were staying adjacent to the RSL in the Novotel Hotel next door. The RSL is large with bars, restaurants gaming rooms, etc so it gets great ticks here, yet what we found disappointing was the service levels from a majority of staff across the board was not exactly hospitable, which was disappointing. Other than that it was an ok place to visit.
