Staff very friendly. Only thing I was annoyed about wasn't inform about activity , Room staff didn't always replace water and you had to ask the staff . But it is great to stay there.

Went there for a lunch. Keen check out the new food precinct recently refurbished. The upgrade looked great however I personally thought that the pricing was a bit high. They have similar prices to somewhere in Surry Hills or the CBD for ok quality considering the location in comparison. Was a little disappointed I must say.

I love this club! Don't shoot me, I know I'm a Rabbitoh's supporter and it's the home of the Wests. The International Eatery is so wonderful and enticing, my meal was so tasty! Thank you Rooty Hill RSL! I shall return when I find myself in your neck of the woods again. I would be mad not to.

Went here recently to watch the Pacquiao vs Broner fight on 20 January 2019. The atmosphere was fantastic. Great mix of people with the RSL placing multiple transportable 60inch screens around the restaurant section so people could watch.

The refurbishment looks fantastic with great food to match

Good venue except for the older gentleman who is the door man. Tried to turn me away and asked me to wear a jumper because he said my chest shouldn't be exposed (had no cleavage displayed at all), I argued as I am a member of the club and have been many times with no issues and the security guards told me I was not breaking any dress codes and said I can enter, the old man at the door humiliated me and physically tried to stop me entering and tried to call his manager down. Won't be returning only ever again for a theatre event. This is Rooty Hill, not Vaucluse.

I would have given it 5 stars but the Poker machines never ever pay and the whole set up of the Club is just not right! Security, needs to be improved too. The current lot can be rude! Just beware guys!

Big gaming place, nice and comfortable place to spend your time. It could do with more restaurant for people who like a lot of choices on food. But hey that's me. Overall it is a nice place to go.

The food is very ordinary and over priced. The Hill bar caters for the 18 to 30 year old's and the drinks are expensive. There is no where comfortable for the over 35's crowd to sit in peace, and have a quite drink. Its a mug punters paradise with plenty of pokies taking up lots of space. The club has forgotten about its roots and traditional members, and even changed the name of the club that was formerly known as Rooty Hill RSL.

Absolutely shocking experience with security the way they treated a colleague that was of no threat and having a great time enjoying the entertainment only to b escorted out of the premises and man handle to the ground by a bunch of rude aggressive foul mouth thugs. Language was so bad management need to look at who they employ discussing behavior.

For what it is worth i don't think peoples safety is the number one concern and that is in all areas of rooty hill rsl, one55 and sgac. If u want a safe place for your family than look else where.

Surprised at the bistro here as the food was great, well priced and we didn't have to wait that long considering we were there on a Saturday night. Would only suggest to get there earlier for easy parking otherwise it gets a bit busy.

I've been a member of this club for many years but I rarely visit. Since the last time I was there, the decor has improved and it looks very modern. I was there with a friend for his birthday in November, and enquired about the menu in Zest, and was told that I could only order from the Birthday Menu. The menu has very few dishes on it and is a bit pricey for a simple meal. They didn't serve grilled fish so I ordered battered fish ~ very disappointing! The batter was very thick, the fish was very dry and overcooked, as were the chips. I was surprised that it didn't have at least a small serving of salad on the plate... It looked very unappealing! It took a lot of water to get that lot down! It's my birthday this month, and I have my voucher for a free birthday dinner or lunch at Zest, but will be giving it a miss. I'd prefer to celebrate my birthday eating a meal that my family and I will enjoy!

Rooty Hill RSL or West HQ has gone down hill trying all these new gourmet foods which ain't even gourmet just microwaved foods. Went the other day had a pizza was so stale and undercooked also the wedges were soggy... I don't know why they didn't play the boxing on the big screen but opted to play on 2 small TVs... We also went to bowling tried to come back in but the receptionist didn't let us in for no reason which was unfair ended up going to The Fiddlers which was way better ... Pull your socks up West HQ because that was a terrible experience .

We had dinner and spent alot of money even had a dance. Security might as well of joined us at the table. They watch you like a hawk. It's very uncomfortable especially when my group were police officers and we are law abiding citizens. We were well behaved and that reminded us why I never go there. Its shame because the staff are nice. But that is a buzz kill. We did nothing wrong. But alot of security around watching us like we had committed a crime
