I'd put -50 if i could. Our daughter was born @ 33.5 weeks with the weight of 2.5lbs and Meriter hospital sent us here cuz we were low on funds(income) and lived 1.5hrs away. We were still concerned about prices for our stay (we bought all our meals/etc. Only thing we needed was a safe stay to sleep) and the hospital said it was all donated but we had to pay for our own (lunch/dinner)...whatever we could give. When we were able to leave and head home we were forced to pay $60. The hospital and the place will lie to your face...we were in the dumps and we thought they truely wanted to help but we had to get help from a church to pay them for helping us.

Very homey attitude, extremely helpful, they provide a shuttle service to and from the hospital! If you have a child in UW Children's you can stay for free and if they are full they help you find lodging elsewhere for free. They provide home cooked meals and delicious snacks. If I could I'd give them more than 5 stars!

Well it's changed a lot I'm glad they now have cameras in there home so people can accuse little children and the family members of something they didn't do after they put in the cameras they were totally friendly and helpful it's a very clean home and the food is always good I love that they've changed to the better it makes me feel better about the Ronald McDonald's house

Staying at this Ronald McDonald house while staying for treatment at UW Madison hospital is fantastic! The staff are wonderful, kind and knowledgeable! Very clean, generous with food, movies, books etc. The entire house is clean and full of life during trying times. The entire staff make you feel right at home and willing to give information regarding area restaurants, sightseeing etc. We hope that there will be a room available for future visits. The only drawback is there are no televisions in the sleeping rooms. Would be a nice addition to the rooms after stressful days at the hospital to just be able to retreat to your room and watch something on television. Rooms & beds are awesome! All around wonderful place!

The beautiful new building was designed with families and children in mind, enabling those who stay to have a very home-like experience, without needing to worry about where they're going to lay their heads, where their next meal is coming from, if someone will be there for them if they need support. Rooms are larger than standard double queen hotel rooms and include an en suite bathroom. The kitchen is amazing, the common areas are spacious, well decorated and very clean. The staff is amazingly supportive and knowledgeable, the volunteers are wonders unto themselves. Over all, a wonderful experience, and oasis of peace in the middle of our child's medical crisis.

Ronald McDonald House charity helps you out immensely. They do everything they can to help families out in time of need. My daughter was born two months early and needs to stay at Meriter hospital in Madison for a couple months. I live in Beloit and my wife doesn't drive. They give you a room to stay in, three home cooked meals a day and provide food in a pantry that you can pick out of whenever you want. No out of pocket expenses. They are giving me gas cards to go back and forth to work, they also have shuttle transportation for getting around town. Great place, great people, they help out A LOT.

Our grandchildren were in an accident and were treated at the American Children s Hospital in Madison. Th Ronald McDonald House made it possible for their parents to stay close to their son the whole while he was hospitalized. Both the hospital and the Ronald McDonald House are the best

Pop top drop off! Please save your soda can tabs and give them to the Ronald McDonald House. It goes towards families to stay for minimal cost or free while their child, or family member is in the hospital. Wonderful organization!

Life changing place, The team at the ronald mcdonald house was amazing. We stayed at the house for 6 weeks, and Tara, Shauna and the rest of the volunteers were amazing, they helped us through a incredibly difficult time.

My daughter's Girl Scout troop volunteered here. When that daughter was born, she had some health issues so we stayed for about a week. It was a relief to not have to think or worry about things other than our baby girl. They even gave my husband and I an anniversary gift.
The Girl Scouts made dinner and plenty of desserts. The staff and residents gave us a very nice thank you card. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a tour so the volunteers could get an idea of how wonderful a service the Ronald McDonald houses provide to the communities they are in.

Our family is very thankful for Ronald McDonald House in Madison. We stayed there for our daughters brain tumor removal, and will continue to do so when possible for follow up appointments. They provide family meals, and comfortable and safe place to stay close to AFCH, and the staff are great. The lady who took care of the rooms always asked how our daughter was doing when we would see her, and we really appreciated that. We've also made some great friends who stayed at the same time as us. It was a great experience during a not so great time.
Also, the playroom is awesome!
