We've managed to book the place 2 weeks in advance for a dinner. Had a nice long walk before so we got our appetite quite strong when we got there. The lady at the entrance was amazing, the welcoming was warming and in good English, they took our jackets and seated us on our table, which waa at the far end of the restaurant. The table was great as we could see everything else and the open kitchen. We got a bottle of great wine from Rioja, Spain and we got served some teasers - bread with some cream cheese and onions. Those got our receptors quite curious. We have then opted for snacks or starters as this was the only menu available on the table along with the wine list. Tried the Tacos, a bit spicy, Wagyu Gyoza and some Iberico jamon. All three were great, while I would rate the Wagyu Gyoza #1 and the Tacos #2. All great so far, but we've had to ask for another menu or a consultation on the main courses, this was not proactively brought to us. We have then decided that one of us wants the 6-course tasting menu and others wanted a steak. In 5 minutes, we have tried to order that, but unfortunately the waiter said the tasting menu can only be ordered if all parties on the table have it. I find this ridiculous. Anyway, we've had to wait another 5 min for one of our friends as he was smoking and redefined our choices. We've got 2 dishes - smoked eel and dove something, both were great albeit small, but came very quickly. Then we've had a tomahawk steak, which was not that good. Maybe we should have got the ribeye, but when the tomahawk was presented to us uncooked, it looked really appealing. Keep in mind it's quite big and it's for share by 2 people. The surprise egg desert was good according to my friends. Overall, great experience, with a bit more to be desired on the service for a Michelin star restaurant e.g. Main course menu and the restriction on the tasting menu.
