We've used Romer & Co as our accountants for almost 3 decades. It is a superb accountancy. They've handled both our personal taxes (which have been quite complex at times), and all the financials for 2 of our small companies, a boat charter on Lake Superior and a global consultancy. See what I mean about complex? Yet they have done everything efficiently and quickly. We first worked with Derf (he was going to be Fred but he came out feet first, hence the creative name) and he was terrific. Sadly, he passed away from cancer several years ago and now we work with Karen who is equally good. In addition to doing great work, the folks at Romer are just plain nice - not "Minnesota nice" but really, truly nice. Monica who mans the phones always is pleasant (unlike so many folks!) and ready to help in whatever way she can. Karen is a lovely woman too. I don't know the other folks at the company, but I'm pretty sure they're nice too. In short, we've been very pleased with our working relationship with this fine company.
