Romantikhotel Gersbergalm, Salzburg Review

Great location, nice rooms, nice hosts, good food - for those who want to explore Salzburg, but want to live in the countryside, an absolute recommendation!

Recommended again and again! Excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed our company meeting at Christmas time. Thanks to the Gersberg Alm Team

Do yourself a favour, book somewhere else. The front desk just lied to me about the service hour of the facilities. When I talked to head waiter (only English speaking staff after 10pm) awhile later, they said that it was available but they didn't have access to the keys as the front desk staff I talked to left already.

They say they have a 24 hour front desk as well but that's a lie too. Expedia tried to call them for an hour but no answer.

Any more lies? Yes, the breakfast is not free as advertised.

I don't mind hotels being small or lack of facilities, but that's a big no if the staff being dishonest to their guests.

Very friendly and above all caring service. The prices for the food are high, but by the quality and one or the other extra acceptable. We will come back.

Wanted dinner.25min. waited for service. Went! Drove into the city to the Imlauer Stuben. Great service, best boiled beef. Everything perfect! Never again Gersbergalm.

We had a great stay here. The hotel is very comfortable and absolutely clean. The decor was very stylish, the service very courteous and friendly. The hotel is located in the middle of the countryside and has a great view over Salzburg.
We would love to come back. :-)

Nearly perfect hotel, in addition to no small elevators, high cost performance. The hotel is on a hillside with no bus and is suitable for self-driving or private car transfers. Wireless network speed is super fast~

Occasion family celebration. Great hotel above Salzburg in a rural location. Friendly staff, very nice rooms and great food! We were there with our motorcycles and were allowed to park them in the garage. We liked it very much in the Gersberg !!! Gladly again!

We were there for a short coffee, so it is not possible to evaluate the hotel.

Wonderful view, near Gaisberg summit. Romantic weekend - the location is particularly great with wonderful views of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains. Very nice service / hosts, nice little fine wellness area, very good food / drinks (but also priced), tastefully decorated rooms.

Unfortunately, the service is not up to scratch. Expressly ordered dishes are of course put on the wrong table, when waiting for the alternative, everything was cold ... this unfortunately let the service force cold ...

Very nice secluded Hotel. We stayed for a weekend to hike and explore the areas around Fuschlsee and Mondsee. We really loved the stay. It s pricey but worth the money. Nice small spa area and pool in the hotel. Gourmet style restaurant, great food. Very kind service from all staff. Clear recommendation for spending some time for a special occasion or as a base to explore Salzburg.

We had booked this hotel for a 5 day trip to Salzburg.
The house is far away from the noise of the city, but you can still get to the city center very quickly. From our balcony we could enjoy a wonderful view over Salzburg.
Our room was very spacious and just like the bathroom 1A in good shape.
The breakfast is plentiful and there was always enough of everything.
In the evening you can enjoy excellent local dishes in the restaurant.
All in all, very nice hotel, very good food, very friendly and competent staff.

The only criticism, in a 4 star hotel I expect the shower gel to be refilled every day ;-)
But there is no deduction due to the other very good performance.

Very good value for money and really good food. The view of Salzburg is overwhelming. A nice garden. But only for guests who love the seclusion

I was biking mit with a break in the very nice garden. Really cozy with courteous staff. Coffee with strudel. Not cheap, but when the weather is nice in summer in the garden with a fine view, you like to count it.

Romantic & charming. Surrounded by green, you can relax wonderfully. Whether on the meadow, the pool or in the excellent restaurant (open from 12).
Super friendly staff. Dog friendly.

Very beautiful hotel within the mountains close to Salzburg. I liked the friendly staff at the restaurant and the dishes. The rooms are clean and tidy.

I strongly recommend it.

A great gourmet restaurant with a strong traditional footprint and a good selection of wines (along with the local beers)
