Beautiful church. I loved meeting you. I went in and the priest kindly came to meet me. We talked a little and wished to welcome him and left me the will to take pictures and get to know the church.

About Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane is a religious organization that serves as the face of the Brisbane Catholic Church. It covers all of South East Queensland and is led by Archbishop Mark Coleridge. The Archdiocese has a rich history dating back to 1859 when it was established as a diocese by Pope Pius IX. Since then, it has grown to become one of the largest and most influential religious organizations in Australia.

The Archdiocese of Brisbane is committed to serving its community through various programs and initiatives aimed at promoting spiritual growth, social justice, and education. Its mission is to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ and provide support for those in need.

One of the key areas where the Archdiocese focuses its efforts is on education. It operates over 140 schools across South East Queensland, providing quality education to thousands of students each year. These schools are known for their academic excellence as well as their commitment to fostering spiritual growth among students.

In addition to its educational programs, the Archdiocese also runs numerous social justice initiatives aimed at helping those in need within its community. These include programs focused on homelessness, domestic violence, mental health support, and more.

Another important aspect of the Archdiocese's work is its commitment to interfaith dialogue and cooperation with other religious organizations in Australia. Through these efforts, it seeks to promote understanding between different faiths while also working towards common goals such as social justice and peace.

Overall, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane plays an important role in promoting spiritual growth and social justice within South East Queensland's communities. Its commitment to education, interfaith dialogue, and supporting those in need make it an essential part of Australia's religious landscape."
