Chicken alfredo was ok. The chicken was bland and unenthusiasticly prepared. The calamari was well cooked and seasoned. atmosphere was to be expected from an Italian restaurant nothing over the top or crazy. Overall would go back if in the area.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Roma Cafe 3 times, and I loved the entree I got the first time so much...and I live in NC, so I ordered the same thing each time...the Shrimp Scampi. There is NONE better! The first time we went w/a party of 12, each person got a different entree, and everyone raved about how good the food was...very fresh! Service was good too!
I am newer to Mobile and Roma Cafe was recommended by a friend. I am so glad I decided to try it out. This place is delicious! We had the cheesesteaks, meatball marinara, kids pizza, kids chicken tenders, chicken salad, and garlic bread with alfredo sauce. The chicken was cooked so well, the alfredo sauce was light and creamy, and the marinara was some of the best I've ever had! My husband and daughter gave the cheesesteaks a big thumbs up, which says a lot because they are pretty picky. I will definitely be returning!!

The food here is delicious. This is absolutely one of those little treasures. We were visiting from out of town when someone recommended this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was savory and delicious. I got the spaghetti and meatballs while my partner got lasagna. We split some (very large) cannolies for dessert.
If I ever want Italian food, I have officially found the place to go! A very cute, small restaurant that is big in flavor. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta, it was AMAZING! Typically Alfredo for me is kind of hit or miss, but they really nailed it. The sauce was plenty creamy and the chicken very flavorful. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection.
Very good Italian food. No wine to purchase and cant bring your own since wr understand owner is against drinking alcoholic beverages. Otherwise a great place to eat especially if you have a big appetite.
This is my favorite restaurant of all time, I regularly come in from out of town to dine here and it isn't a trip to Mobile if I don't go to Roma. I've never had a bad meal here; the service is friendly and the food is incredible. An easy, solid five stars.

Good atmosphere and authentic Italian food (better than Olive Garden), but I've found it to be hit & miss sometimes. The first time I came I was blown away, but this last time it was just OK. My sandwich was a little dry. I still highly recommend it, and it's still better in my opinion than O.G. I will definitely be back!

Came here for a family birthday lunch. I was very surprised. Food was very good! I had the mushroom swiss burger. One of the best burgers I've ever had! Great flavor and huge! The soft garlic bread that was served with the meal was very good. My spouse said the lasagna was great. We also had the cheese sticks and they were good and not greasy. Shrimp was huge. We will definitely be back. I wish I would have came sooner.
Shrimp scampi is a crowd favorite! Excellent staff & good service. The only downside is the temperature in the building is always so cold! Probably from being inside an old building. Other than that, the food is delicious and I will be back!

I am pretty picky when it comes to Italian, and this place has never disappointed me. Generous portions and original sauces make for unique and standout dining experience. Love the Spanakopita and the shrimp fettuccini.

We had a great dinner where we were celebrating my mom's and mother-in-law's birthday. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the food was excellent.

I absolutely love this place! Every time I have been, the food is literally to die for. So far, I have tried four different dishes and do not have a single complaint about any of them. They know how to treat their customers too. The first time I ate in the restaurant, the service was amazing. The server always checked on us, made sure we had drinks and our food literally took about 10 minutes after we ordered to be cooked and brought out to us. Even when you order take out food, they are pretty quick about it and if you do have to wait, they give you a free drink while you wait. Their prices are also considerably affordable when you look at it from the economy perspective. At the least, I am very impressed with this business establishment and will be going back soon.

The food is delicious. The best you will get in Mobile. Most might not think much of this hole in wall little restaurant, but please try it. Everything is homecooked, and the staff is excellent. You will not be disappointed.
