Great service, great atmosphere, great food and beer! One of my favorite places. Try the Jambalaya Mac n Chz.

The spinach artichoke dip IS DELICIOUS! Take out food was not ready at pick up time.
Good beer, live music on some days and free pool from Monday to Thursday!
Pool tables cool. Food not so good. Good atmosphere.
Update: Went there recently and have to say the food was excellent. Upgraded to four stars because still a bit pricey. I paid $11 for a grilled chicken sandwich with no sides. But, had a nice time. I tasted my sister-in-law's sweet potato fries and they were really good, too.
I didn't spend a lot of time here but the dip appetizer is amazing: black bean, crab and spinach and artichoke. I am sober now but good Lord they had a great selection of beers that weren't just average micro brews; they carried what seemed to be hand picked offerings.
Very pleasant staff. Cool historic location with clean dining area and a nice, open and simple look.
Dig it!!!
I would give them 5 stars but today I had the beer cheddar soup and let's just say they should call it salt cheddar soup I very much did not like it. So 4 stars but good food otherwise and service.
This is one of my favorite places to hang out. The food is very good and the beer is excellent. There is also free pool during the week and love music on the weekend.
The saving grace would be the craft beers. We ordered the "fresh ground" Buffalo burgers, they tasted like they were frozen for a long time, bland and had a horrid aftertaste. The buns were cold. I've had Buffalo burgers before and these were subpar.
The fries on the other hand were fantastic, beer was great.
I've had the salmon there before a couple years back and it was excellent. I don't know if it was an off day, bad patties or if their standards fell.
Damn shame.
Great Michigan beer and atmosphere. Tasty and affordable menu. Kids menu had lots of variety and comes with dessert!
Great atmosphere, great beer, live music, and pool tables. What more do you need?
Beer is okay, food is okay. The place is huge, typically always crowded or some event is booked there. I would recommend a different brewery in the area over this one.
Atmosphere was nice but the food and beer were a bit disappointing.
Meh. Accommodates a large crowd. Didn't like a single beer here but I am an IPA girl. The bartender raised his handle barred moustache at us when we asked for recommendations.
Delicious food at a great price! Friendly waitstaff!
Great place with awesome food and drinks. They had live music and a great ambiance. The tables were set up a far enough apart and all the staff were doing their part to keep everyone safe. We will be coming back soon to enjoy this place again.
Plenty of seating with a nice variety of tables and couches. The pool tables could use some TLC
Good beer, decent food in a high volume and quality service. Can't recommend the mac and cheese, but any dish that contains some element of bread is worth getting. The rotating burger of the day is a nice feature.
This is a large establishment in a great location. we sat outside and enjoyed a locally brewed beer.
Always a great time and they have one of the best mug club memberships around, especially during happy hour
Love this place Mac and cheese is so good and they have a good selection for beer
Lunch was great! Burger of the day was perfectly tempted and an interesting flavor profile. Didn't have any beer this visit. Very good server.
Great atmosphere, huge place, some unique menu items and beer. Could use a better selection though. Terry's terrace has way more beers.
Good beer, the place is big and always clean. But, I'm always waiting ages to get served, and I always sit at the bar! When I do get served the staff are always non emotional, and rude. I will come back. But there are only so many chances I give a place before I never come back.
Delicious food and great atmosphere! I enjoyed my visit.
Great food, awesome beer, good drinks. Really cool older building in downtown Rochester, but it's always so loud! Usually no wait, but still feels crowded.
I love their buffalo Mac n' cheese. It comes with basically half a cheese pizza to eat as well as the delicious Mac N' Cheese. They have decent beer selection including beers they brew themseves. The wait can get very long, up to 2 hours, on a Thursday/Friday/Saturday night. But its worth the wait.
This is supposed to be Oktoberfest, but...
1) Zero good German food
2) the "German" band just played Rod Stewart Hot Legs and 50's Hanky Panky. Now Neil Diamond. OMG !!!
3) The beer is just okay.
Good food and selection of beers. Very nice staff. I'll be back in the future...
Plenty of seating with a nice variety of tables and couches. The pool tables could use some TLC
Great food and beer very reasonably priced. Serve was top notch.
It's a great place to hang out at with friends. A lot of options for beers to choose from and they do have decent options for food.! You can find live bands performing during the weekends (Friday and Saturday only I guess) which gives a different vibe to the whole scene.!
Beers are on the uninspired side. Food too, is fine; right up the middle, not bad, not impressive.
Large food menu and tasted good as well. The beer selection was good and was pretty good too. Reasonably priced and service was fast and friendly. It was a busy Friday night and we had to wait about a half hour for our table.
Grear place for an October fest party. Lots of live music, beer, and food.
The food was good. I had the salmon. The beer was also good. I had the IPA. It was not very busy when we went, (during a snowstorm) so the food came quickly. It's a neat place, and I would go back.
So many beer options and their food is amazing too!! Pretty cheap when its happy hour. Will be back again =)
Their beers are great and it's a big, fun, friendly venue. Most of the menu items are delicious. Wish the "healthy" options were a little better but generally speaking this is upscale brewpub food and it's tasty. If you like great local beers in a welcoming environment, this is for you.
Good food at a reasonable price. Saturday night was a bit loud for my taste due to the live band.
Swordfish was very fishy tasting, one of the fingerling potatoes was black, both inside and out. Ordered clam chowder but had such an overpowering spice, I think may have been rosemary, that I could not eat it and sent it back. I was not impressed.
They have some very good beers there. The prices are a little high. And some days it's totally packed in there.
Good place to have dinner and drinks, as well as private events. I attended an event here and it had a good atmosphere and service. I had the Cherry Saison and some appetizers, all were good!
Milkshake stout is the best!!!
The food is just as great at the beer
Great place been there many times never disappointed
Food was pretty good
Jambalaya mac-n-cheese was good
Michigan buffalo burger was frozen patty but pretty good
Service was slow, food took a long time to come out and got to us cold and I couldn't get extra napkins to save my life. First time I've tipped less than 20% in a years.
Overall an OK experience.
Slow/almost non-existent service for big groups. It's not the servers' fault because Rochester Mills seems to understaff on purpose. Every time I come here with a big group, it takes forever to get new beer orders taken and orders taken for new joiners to the group. Good food and good beer.
Beer was good. The service was terrible. A waiter was "having words" with his manager and whining about having to give up one of "his" tables. Not my problem. Drinks were coming slow and I gave up on ordering food. Will not go back. Too many good breweries around here to waste time at Rochester Mills.
Best beers in Rochester. Try Water Street Wheat. Food service struggles sometimes.
Absolutely shocking and awful experience with Rachel, one of the managers. She was blatantly rude and unprofessional and I cannot believe this establishment allows someone like her to hold a position of power. While asking how much longer out wait would be, she condescendingly called us ma am while smirking in our faces. She then proceeded to interrupt us, told us to step away from her hostess station while her hand was held up in front of our faces. We asked to speak to a manager and she lied and said she was the only manager in that night. To the restaurants defense we had a large party of 24, however we spoke with two separate managers earlier in the week who informed us as long as we did call ahead seating they would accommodate us but we still may have to wait. We called ahead at 4:00 and were told our table would be ready around 7. (We arrived at 6:20 and did not get seated until 9:30). After speaking to another manager named Jon (presumably her boss) and explaining the situation to him, she proceeded to lie about our arrival time (she claimed we arrived at 730 when in actuality we got there at 620). We were there for a birthday and this whole situation ruined the entire night. Jon did try his best to remedy the situation but unfortunately at that point the night had already been ruined. This establishment needs to reevaluate who they put in managerial positions because for some, like Rachel, customer service and satisfaction is not their top priority.
Great selection of beer, live music on some nights.
Had a couple of drinks, played pool....plus the food was great!
Fun times!!!
Parking lot was packed, but we were say immediately. Environment is pretty loud due to the size of the restaurant, that's the only problem I had. Food is great and reasonably priced, large portions. The outdoor patio has huge decorative gas heaters that makes it very comfortable. Definitely coming back!
Food, beer selection, and atmosphere is great. The servers treat their customers well.
Our server , Sage was great !! The burgers are. Yummy. The beers are PHENOMENAL.
Food is moderately priced, but portion sizes reflect the price. Very tasty food and craft brews. Will go back again
There is a reason I'm a Mug Club member! Great food, superb beer!
I honestly really like this place and especially during covid times, it has a lot of outdoor seating with plenty of space so I feel relatively safe.
After sitting in a closed section for 10 minutes a waitress finally came by and told us we has to move. Not taking our order for another 10 minutes, I gave up and went to the bar. This place is huge with 1 waitress. If youre going to have one waitress she should be able to multitask. Maybe take an order as she asks customers to move.
The menu is amazing, nice beer selection, even though the restaurant is very large- it's always full
Marissa provided an exceptional dining experience. Absolutely blown away by the charisma, atmosphere, and attention she provided me and my little snicker blanket. We had a very memorable and exquisite experience and my little chicken nugget and I will absolutely be coming back soon. I'm STILL excited.
The place looked really nice but the food wasn't anything special.
Good in-house beer selection, good food, good atmosphere, and good service. All in all, great place.
They make all the beer there have great food live music and are pretty busy everyone there is having a great time mixed crowd younger adults and older ones all having fun
Good food, great atmosphere and equally great beer, at least the one I had was! Highly recommend it you are looking for a sports location, a place to meet friends or family, or even for a work function.
My family was coming into town to see our new house and we made a reservation last Wednesday to be able to eat at Rochester Mills on Christmas Eve Eve. Sadly on Saturday, the restaurant called and cancelled our reservation, no reason given. We decided to go on Monday anyways in order to still bring our out of town family. We show up at 4:45 and put our name in for 7 people and they said wait time was 45 minutes to an hour; seemed pretty reasonable. We decide to grab a beer and play some pool while we wait. As we play, tables all around the restaurant remained open. Finally the 45 minute mark approached and I asked about our seating and she said we were still waiting. Then the hour mark approached and she said we were still waiting; yet, tables remained open and other groups of our size were being sat. The hour and thirty minute mark finally hit and we were quite confused on the lack of effort to seat our party. When talking to the host about the over estimated wait and all the empty tables she claimed those were for reservations, but yet our reservation was cancelled by the restaurant two days ago? At this point we were very upset for the lack of service Rochester Mills was offering a party that had now been waiting for 90 minutes, with multiple tables that had been waiting for a reservation to show the entire time.
After a manager heard of the situation, we were seated and our waitress, Allison, actually redeemed the night. But if it was left to just the hostess staff then I can t believe anyone would actually go to Rochester Mills. Even when they see a disgruntled party, they continue to shove them aside and not try to calm the situation. I understand the nights before the holidays is busy for everyone but it was apparent last night that Rochester Mills is not equipped with the staff to satisfy its many patrons.
Really enjoyed their Gypsy Goddess Radler. Its perfect for a summer evening. Food is pretty good too. I recommend the Cajun salmon and avocado sandwich
Always a busy, but fun place during the holidays. Good variety of comfort food and great craft beer variety on tap.
Great atmosphere, awesome building! Drinks were good. Food was okay, there were out of what I ordered and didn't let me know until after I had ordered which was disappointing. Overall a nice place to eat
lots of local beer choices, most are very good the food is typical bar food but good.
Food and beer was good...waitress was nice but forgetful
Went to a couple Birthday parties here in November/December. Really nice, free pool on certain nights. They were super chill about us staying late, even a little after closing time.
