Rude and unhelpful. They should remember that the jobhunters they are so dismissive of today are likely to be the recruiters they NEED in the future. I cannot believe this shower are still in business
Don't use or don't trust this company. I was misled about applying for a position through them, but the company never received my details and I missed out on my 'dream job' because of their poor practices - presumably just to get my CV on their database.
Robert Walters is a dodgy recruitement agency. I have been misslead twice from their Manchester brand. FIrst one, chap called Jonathan Basnett sent me for an interview 2 hours away. When I got there I was told interview has been cancelled. Mat had forgot to inform me of cancellation!!! And then didn't even apologise. But I was desperate so I accepted yet another offer for interview, this Jonathan Basnett sent me to a completely wrong office of the company. These people are shocking and incompetent. Not sure how they get jobs. My advice is to stay from robert walters agency.
One of worst recruitment agencies I have come across. They never got back to me despite the fact that I applied for more than one job and registered my CV with this agency. Arrogant and not interested in finding a good fit for a company. As long as as the candidate has exact experience as the role they recruit for.
Robert Walters recruits marketers like me, as well as HR people, lawyers, accountants and finance professionals. Great service and helpful consultants.
I have been working with one of the HR Recruitment Team - a lady called Stephanie Duel - as I see a new senior HR role. I have been pleasantly taken by surprise - her approach is both helpful and professional and she has been a joy to work with. I haven't yet secured a role although I have secured an great interview. Compared to the other consultancies I have dealt with this has been by far the best.
Just called up to enquire about a job I genuinely believed I was a great fit for and was met with the most arrogant, dismissive, response I've ever had from a recruitment 'consultant'. Don't use - plenty of better and more professional alternatives out there.
I have received numerous calls from these guys - absolutely bonkers and very unprofessional! Some guy called Jon Mysercough called me up and did a reasonable cold-calling pitch; he mentioned a few things that interested me and I (foolishly) sent him my CV, only to never hear from him again. No explanation, no call-back, very stealth and somebody who I would never trust again. I hoped that Jonathan Myerscough would be a random bad apple but the Robert Walters crew just seem to be like him. Keep well away, these guys (especially JON MYERSCOUGH) are snakes in the grass!
