A very nice public gallery, with many interesting pieces. Not sensational, but worth seeing. The staff were helpful, parking inexpensive, and the venue is well laid out. Easily visited in under 2 hours, part of a nice afternoon out
RMG , has a focused collection of Canadian art featuring Painters Eleven, Group of Seven and leading contemporary Canadian artists. The RMG also regularly features exhibitions so check their website. The museum doesn't charge an admittance at the time of this writing. It s pay as you go so help keep the lights on and drop $5 - $10 into the box.
A great art experience for the whole family. Art exhibits that are thought provoking. Installations that are a hands-on experience for children and people of all ages. An array of different events. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Gift shop featuring art and gifts done by local artists. I would recommend you go to the RMG and check out their art exhibits and take part in the many events they have to offer.
Very nice Art Museum...lots of contemporary and modern art work, some are amazing arts. They're even inspiring young artists, which is an impressive project they have. Bring your young children and get their artistic talents started. At certain time there is an art story being read to the children.
A nice little free gallery in the heart of the town offering a good main exhibit and lots of rotating exhibits.
Always a great stop while in downtown Oshawa. Relaxed atmosphere and the exhibits change often so it's a new experience every time
Interesting free (donation suggested) gallery with a wonderful permanent collection and changing exhibits. I really appreciated that the interactive display in the Made of Honey, Gold, and Marigold exhibit was still interactive despite COVID-19. They had a box of disposable gloves and hand sanitizer available.
Nice art gallery in Oshawa. Beautiful art sculptures. We went for a Indo Canadian Holi event there. Parking was free on the weekend. The whole gallery is wheelchair and stroller friendly. It's a nice, clean beautiful art gallery with lots of events happening. Liked it there!!
