I had the opportunity to speak with Daisy in customer service who was able to answer and resolve my question without being transferred to a number of people quickly and professionally, a credit to her organization. I can only speak on my experience today, for service I have never had a problem.
Incredibly expensive rates for a basic need. It's ridiculous how much they charge!!!
Absolutely disgusted with overpriced electric. Unprofessional uneducated employees. Without regards that there sucking the life out of there own local people. There automated service is inaccurate and any and all mistakes made bye this service is paid from the pockets of there customers. There response is ( I m sorry you re power was shut off yesterday you paid 55 dollars yesterday and the system didn t have time to generate an update to let you know you were already in the negative again, but if you d like to pay more money we ll have it back on.) Even though it s been reported that there s a dissable person and two babies that live here. I ve been paying dearly as has everyone else that lives under Roanoke Electrics service. I ve been under there service for 3 months now and watched seven houses Vacate because of these same problems. North Carolina is becoming an unpopulated place in a lot of areas thanks to Roanoke Electric. Anyone else besides the people already on the petition willing to sign hit me up. Hopefully we can get some local news channels in on this matter soon North Carolina is a beautiful place to be it s a shame that one of the electric companies is keeping people from staying here.
The ABSOLUTE worst power company in my 60 years. Power is lost more often for ZERO reasons other than mismanagement. If you don t have to use these bunch of idiots, avoid them.
The rates are too high. That we can't do anything about; however, a lot of the employees there are dismissive, rude and simply don't answer questions when you ask. One lady today actually interrupted me several times when expressing my dismay at paying over $300 a month for a light bill. I could go on and on but I hope someone takes these comments seriously. The person I spoke to is a supposedly Christian woman who showed her true colors today.
After having lived in VA BCH since the 1980's and then moving to NC in 2016, NC electric far exceeds in service and response time. Great job!!
