Attended the USAFA - Neil Armstrong Class of 2019 Graduation Ceremony. What an amazing event.
Awesome views and great to visit one of the four service academies.
Ahhhs some experience finally visiting the place I sent (qualified) four students in four years to begin a rigorous educational journey.
Only toured a couple of sites. Very pretty. Don't know the school itself.
There are three important facilities in Kequan:
US Air Force Official School
US Olympic Players Training Center
North American Air Defense Command
But yesterday, there was a shooting murder case and three people died.
Pike Peak is more than 4,000 meters above sea level, with a bird's eye view of Kequan City.
The B52 bomber at the entrance to the Air Force official school is spectacular and worth seeing. There are many souvenirs to choose from in the visitor center. The church is very strange and very interesting.
The COS Racing Thinderbird Road race is the most fun anyone could have on a bicycle. It is also the Colorado State Championship race for juniors and master cyclists sanctioned by USA Cycling.
For people who don't get into West point or Annapolis. No discipline.
hah, i live here-
it's ok but eh there's some rude neighbors in my neighborhood-
From everything I've heard, this is the most excellent and outstanding academy to the Air Force! :) Keep the great work up Air Force Personnel!! :)
Even if you don't know of anyone who is serving in the military or attending the Air Force Academy, it is worth the visit. The iconic chapel, surrounding mountains and static aircraft on display, make a visit a memorable experience.
It was hard to travel to places. This is a self guide place to go. it took me two hours of walking to find three places.
Wonderful history of the facility, the life of cadets at the Academy, the sporting grounds and Academy buildings. The Cadet Chapel is a must see, from the spires and stained glass windows to the 4,334 pipe organ on the 2nd floor.
No finer venue for a college education than the Academy. The Academy produces leaders because they recruit leaders. Go Falcons!!
Old and outdated, I expect more from Military Academy's. Housing is uncared for. No updating since they were built in the 50s.
Beautiful place and inspiring. The cadet chapel is very nice. It s a MUST visit place if you are in Colorado Springs area.
Highly recommend it!
Amazing academy, beautyful chappel this is the place you have to visit if you come to colorado.
It's worth a visit since it's free! Beautiful, immaculate campus with gorgeous views of the mountains. The church is breath-taking and is naturally colored by sunlight pouring through the stained glass windows. There's also a free mini movie that explains the history of the school located in the gift shop.
Absolutely amazing scenery and the pure size of the architecture is stunning! My Favorite Part of the base is the Chapel cause the peice of steel "I"Beam from the WTC!
Had a wonderful time touring the US Air Force Academy and it s museum and it s chapel. If you have not seen the US Air Force the Academy Chapel you are missing a great place
Connoisseurs of the finer points of military customs and courtesies
High in Rocky mountains, beautiful views, nice trails
This schools marching band is incredibly overpowered like jesus christ. I would die in this marching band if i was in it
Don't listen to cardioidiot. Plenty of grads, including women, send their daughters. Note, Superintendant is a woman. Also note, 60 min never asked bozo how he ended up in the cadet informant program. ..hint, they don't recruit saints.
dont expect much, but you see a couple things around the training center
The price is right. It's a top-level education at zero cost. There are, of course, some strings attached.
Beautiful facility that is coved in by even more beautiful mountains!
What an experience!! The church is absolutely beautiful!!
A GREAT place to see. Remarkable architecture, but the most important thing is that this is one of the best military training and learning institutions in our country. The grounds that are open to the public are a must see.
Incredible facility for tomorrows Air Force elite. What a privilege for those who attend with its world class facilities. This is the standard that make the US Armed Forces are the best in the world.
That is up part
Time to be ry
Why isn't there street view? Hmmmmm kept secret maybe
The Women's Team at the Ethics Bowl where I served as a judge WON the entire competition. Really a super group of good thinkers with great ethical stress detection (moral sensitivity) and problem solving skills.
Absolute must see if you live here or are simply visiting. The location is awe-inspiring. The architecture is amazing and the history is pretty cool as well.
1) it is a military base so you will pass through a secure gate. Basic rules that will make life uneventful. Have a valid government issued ID if your the driver. If your licenses is out of date you will be denied access to the Academy and if your the only legal driver in the car they will make you call for a ride home. Don't bring weapons or contraband on the base. For those that travel with a firearm in the car, leave it at home. No knives either.
Yes POT is legal in Colorado under state law... the Air Force Academy however is federal land under federal jurisdiction and thus POT IS NOT LEGAL there. Interesting tidbit if your in a National Park or National Forest in Colorado as well...
2)its a college so be respectful of the students studying there.
3) ask for a tour... start at the visitors center and you won't be disappointed.
I do whatever to join the airforce. Because the airport is my dream. I want to be in the sky protect our people
Good school with great people. Lots of history and great views of the front range.
No benches anywhere in the cadet area to enjoy the terrazzo though.
Beautiful place, alot of outstanding architecture with the beautiful Rocky Mountains as a back drop.
I am here to pay my respect to the outstanding men and women serving our great nation. The 20 min movie in the gift shop gave an excellent overview to the life of cadets, their choice and sacrifice, their being trained a warrior and leader the same time.
Talk to graduates and they will say it was the best decision of their life; talk to drop-outs and they will say it was the best decision of their life.
The Air Force Academy is a beautiful college campus. The architecture is unique. Definitely visit the chapel on the campus. It was designed to resemble fighter airplanes. Parts of the campus are closed for the safety of the cadets.
I had a great time touring there and hope to go there someday!
Went there to experience the 4th of July fire works and it was amazing. It s a beauty from the highway, love driving by. The landscape & architecture are remarkable but even more so are the people of USAF Academy!
I love the surrounding in this area and all that there is to do. The Academy had hiking, biking, gyms, parks, daycares, a fire department, a grocery store, gas station, etc. It has things to do and has necessities as well. It's not a very diverse place, but it is great overall!
I hope to see Luke Taylor attend The Air Force Academy one day!
Was stationed at the USAF Academy. Visited the base last year. Still as beautiful as I remembered.
This church is so impressive! The exterior and interior are equally amazing!
This church is very impressive! Whether it's the design of the exterior or the interior colours, it will never be forgotten after the visit!
I am proud to say that my dad was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force and he was head of the Physics Department at the USAFA.
We LOVE it here! Its beautiful, there are trails galore, tons off opportunities for all ages. Its not just an Air Force College, this is by far one of our favorite duty stations!
Best core curriculum that eats up 2 and a half years of your time here, would rate it a five out of five if the food would sing and dance instead of fighting the doolies who are trying to eat it
Best of the place and education for children.I love the Colorado
Awesome place... graduation ceremonies give you chill bumps!

We visited the Planetarium today and saw Dream Big. What an amazing production! Omni theater quality in comfortable reclining chairs. This show involved engineering, robotics, encouraging children, especially girls, to Dream Big. For those of us who do not have an engineering mindset, it was anything But boring! We "rode" downhill on a steep rollercoaster and even a bullet train at 700 miles an hour. Wow! And the shows are FREE. Two days a week are dedicated to school groups and are booked already thru October.
Spent 3 years, 11 months, and 5 days here. Not too bad. The Salisbury steak was just OK though. 4 stars.
Great place to visit. Take the family get really inspired.
They knew what they were doing when they picked this area to plant the usafa. Beautiful chunk of property. Graduation ceremonies are great, ice lake, cadets practicing in gliders, archery range, mountain bike and hiking trails. All good stuff and all worth the visit.
