Filled with great electronics. I think anyone who is into computers should check this place out.

Excellent place to get parts for computers and ham radio equipment. They have all sorts of parts for PCs such as hard drives memory and cases.

You won't find this kind of one on one advice from many places. I was totally satisfied with their service when I was looking to upgrade my video card. They are both helpful and knowledgeable.

You will save time and money they know there products

Found out about this place four days ago and have been there twice in that amount of time . I love the shop, very helpful employees and just about everything one could need for any sort of computer-based project etc. i've been building an enclosure out of the 15u server rack for my 3-D printer and these guys have had all the bells and whistles that I've needed

What a great place. I came in for a new computer and Dave was able to hit the marks for me. The computer was to my specs, built on time and best of all looked amazing. The prices were slightly higher than online, but you get impeccable service, which I appreciate.

Dave took the time to tell me about each and every product and answered all my questions. Dave was intense about computers, and it showed in the end. Thanks Dave!

Thank you for fixing my Samsung tablet! Mike youre a rockstar!! I went to 5 different places and RJM was the only place that knew how to fix it. Mike fixed it right on the spot!!

I turned off the HID interactive touchscreen function on my brand new tablet (trying to turn off the annoying Windows 8) pop ups. I took my tablet to RJM and Ryan was so very patient and helpful getting my tablet up and running again in just a matter of minutes. RJM is way better than your average box electronics store -- as these guys actually know what they're doing.

Ryan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, the customer service was second-to-none. He saved me a ton of time and money. I would have been wandering aimlessly through Amazon or Staples and probably bought a power cord that would have fried my hardware. These guys know what they're talking about! And I picked up a new keyboard for less than I would have spent anywhere else. I won't go anywhere else from now on and I'll send as many people as I can in your direction to make sure you stay in business! Thank you!

I went in for a dinosaur mouse Lol and sure enough one was found. Very pleased with the service I will definitely return for all of my computer needs.

They had an OEM charger for my HP laptop at 1/2 the price of any non-OEM that I could find at Office Depot or Stapels. Best Buy had nothing in stock. Thanks for the assist.

They were very helpful and knowledgeable. There was a lot more stuff there then I thought too. I will be back.

****Updated Response to Owner 12/31 Again, I did get my PC repaired. It was analyzed by your team, and built by your team. From your responses, I think you think I am a different customer. Additionally, now some of the hardware is clicking upon start up--and continues to while on--and doesn't seem to be working as intended....

*****To the response from owner. I don't have an issue with your guy's willingness to help, and for that matter I didn't refuse any service so i'm not sure where you are getting that from. My issue is that I told you what I wanted to be able to do (play WoW at a decent level and be able to do school work). He told me that with the build, it could easily do both of those. And now I have to play wow at very low settings and still is at lowish FPS. That is the issue. Also, my internet browser randomly crashes.

The people were friendly. However, after determining that my computer was mostly shot, one of the Techs built me a new PC. I suggested something low-medium cost and that the only thing I did on the computer was play WoW and school work. He said that the specs he were installing could run WOW super easy and with no problems. With the graphics on VERY LOW I still only get about 40 FPS. I guess the quantification of "easy and no problem" was different. It costed me about 700 dollars, I would have rather just bought a new premade pc for 900 that had far better specs.

I have been into the store twice now and both times I received courteous and speedy help. The gentleman in the store were extremely knowledgeable and incredibly polite. I will only ever use this store because of how great the service has been and how quickly they were able to help. They saved me money on both occasions, good people and great service.

Great spot to pick up miscellaneous tech stuff! Resistors, switches, fans cables, you name it they have it. Thanks guys.

Had the hardware I needed in stock and freindly / helpful staff

For the most part I do my own computer repair but twice in several years I've given up and taken my computer here instead. both times they were able to fix my problem, and the most recent time was an extremely difficult and time consuming fix. These guys were able to put in a ton of labor and honor their flat rate diagnostics fee still. I hope I don't have to use them again, but I know if I do they will provide awesome service and reliability for me again. I worked with Shawn (sp?) And he was great.

I see a lot of reviews about how high they mark their products up but I think people need to realize you can't compare their prices to something you get online it's a small business that doesn't have the purchasing power to get large bulk order discounts. And not only that they have to pay to maintain a brick-and-mortar storefront so I feel their pricing is Justified.

Keep in mind whatever you get there is still going to be less of a rip-off than Best Buy where I literally saw a 6 foot DVI cable for almost $32.

When I'm in a pinch and need a part now RJM is my #1 go to and I think the Treasure Valley is fortunate to have a dedicated computer store with staff that is actually knowledgeable and not some useless knuckleheads who never built a computer a day in their life

The hard drive in my PC started flaking out over the summer. "Repairs" worked OK for awhile, but a couple weeks ago it failed to boot. I tried to restore from an "image backup," but don't have the resources to make it happen. So, I lugged it over to Tyler at RJM. He was able to "clone" the old disk to a new one, and I'm back in business. VERY reasonable price, and WAY less complicated and expensive than any alternative.

Very helpful. Took in a laptop with a dead screen thinking it may need a new graphics card. Instead, they were able to fix it within less than 5 minutes and didn't even charge me. Didn't expect such excellent service, despite having shopped for parts here for over 15 years. Never needed to try their service dept. before; very glad I did.

Super nice and quick to see if I needed help. I browsed around to see what they had for my electronic project loved the re use shelf found some cords I was needing! Will definitely be back!

I would love to check this store out but after reading the comments about how pushy the people are there yes I understand you have to pay for all the light and pay your workers and such Wich is why they like to over price the products they carry Wich is understandable but I've heard the workers there are very rude and do not wanna experience that so I think I'll pass and use best but or Amazon/Newegg

Visited for a computer issue-RJM had testing equipment to diagnose the problem, and a replacement power supply at a reasonable price; which is nice, given that they're backordered, overpriced, or both online right now. Overall, a good experience.

I needed more RAM for my laptop since it was running fairly slow. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by Ryan who then recommended the specific part I was looking for at a reasonable price. He then installed the new card at no charge. I will be coming back if I have any other computer issues.

Amazon and Best Buy can't help you in an emergency like these guys can. I had a presentation to give tonight and my mini-projector stopped working. None of the big electronics stores in town had the cable I needed in stock, and I know nobody else in town would have offered to help troubleshoot my problem at no charge. Took a laptoo that was failing to boot to them on a Friday morning, they called with the issue on Saturday morning, and I walked out with a fixed laptop on Saturday afternoon. very speedy service, and the prices are pretty decent. They charged me $85 for the labor, $99 for the new 500gb SSD, and I bought a stick of RAM for only $15, which would've easily cost me $30 anywhere else. 10/10 would recommend.

Quaint place, feels like walking into a shop from the 80's. But that's a good thing. This place has everything that you'd need that's computer repair, building and maintenance related.

Needed some minor PC repairs done. Chris was super friendly and helpful. Had my PC back by the end of the day. Will definitely be back for future PC needs!

They welcomed me as soon as I walked into the show room asked if I needed help finding anything. Talked with Me about what I might need I was looking for case fans. Also showed me their half off rack and had some great deals. I love this place and I had a pleasant time shopping here.

This store is the most amazing store i have ever been inside in my life! The employees will all teach you anything you need to know for a quick upgrade, or replacement. They are locally owned and operated, and i love them! I would recommend them to anyone, and i do! Amazing, absolutely amazing!

I just went here today to see why my laptop wouldnt turn on and if it needed to be fixed and the person who helped me cut to the chase and told me that there was an issue with the motherboard and that the laptop was so old that it was better to just cut my losses and not waste money trying to fix it and I appreciate how straight forward he was about and didn't try to waste my time or money trying to fix it because of how obsolete it was.

Knowledgeable staff. They guys knew what I was looking for and had options available. Will visit again if in need of a quick fix. Anyone who knows Newegg should check this place out at least once.

Best local shop for component variety, still no high end specialty items, which I think is a mistake, but still the best in Boise.

Literally one of the WORST store associate interactions I've had ever. I went in on a recommendation and was simply looking for a display port cord or an RGA for my PC to monitor. DAVE treated me like shit saying things like, "OH, SO YOU'RE EXPECTING TO USE MY SHIT TO TEST YOUR MONITOR?" as I was unsure which port worked on my monitor at home. Literally everything that came out of his mouth was condescending and disrespectful. The other associates just stood by and pretended to be busy. I walked to the door promptly after having out up with DAVE's outrageous conduct and he immediately begged for me to come back. Sorry RJM, first impressions are everything and yours was garbage. I'll be putting this reveiw everywhere possible and letting all my tech friends know to avoid your store as long as it has associates like DAVE.

Quick response to email about PC issues. They were able to diagnose the 2 concerns that I had right away and kept me updated on parts and progress frequently. They were able to easily fix an issue that another local company had tried to fix unsuccessfully twice. Fantastic work and communication with the customer. Highly recommend.

Huge selection of items. A service rep put an ssd in my computer and got me an adapter for only the price of the adapter.

For years RJM computers has provided ideal repair and generous computer instruction. They've done a couple of jobs for me and are willing to provide in-store instruction and problem solving - patient, friendly and they get it right!

There guys know computers. When ever I get stuck, I go to them. Most times it is my not knowing much about computers. Very nice, helpful and not expensive.

Arguably the nicest computer shop in it's class. He also carries amateur radio equipment, however no one in the store has too much expertise on that subject. Anything computer, he can get for you. I would describe the pricing as more upscale grocery store.

My dog jumped on the laptop and a key fell off. Took it to RJM and Sean did a superb job fixing it, works great! It was not an easy fix. He was adamant getting it to fit back on, even brought a load of keys from home to try on it instead. He went above and beyond expectations. This was our first time at RJM and found it was a fair price with genuine personalized service. Couldn t ask for better; highly recommend.

Poor service, looking to help a family who lost everything in a fire. The son of whom is Autistic lost his computer of comfort. I was not helped 1 but on what I needed, instead I was talked down to as an idiot and the man just kept saying we can build it for 1000..

Their flat rate for computer repair is worth the money by far. I was stumped with multiple problems that ended up being a power supply failure that damaged other equipment. They tested all of my components and i brought home a fully functioning and tested rig. Kevin was courteous and pragmatic and earned my repeat business
