Riverfront Theatre Newport Wales Review

Fantastic venue for concerts....quality sound and viewing from seats.

Kids love it here. Our girls perform here on a regular basis.

A very professional and highly entertaining pantomime enjoyed by children ,parents and grandparents.We shall be back !!

Pleasant venue. Easy parking just across the road. Very accessible, friendly staff.

I am finding it impossible to find out what's on at the riverfront theatre, c'mon guys surely its worth getting the info out there so its readily and easily accessable, this isn't a private club, it should be a thriving business.

Every link I click on is showing an error report, frustrating and unprofessional.

If I could find out whats on and go it's a great venue.

I go to musical theatre classes here in the dance studio every week and have also performed in and seen many shows here. The dance studio is in impeccable conditions and so is the theatre, the dressing rooms backstage are beautiful and are very big. The stage is hugeeeeeee and the facilities, especially the toilets, are in lovely condition. The staff are sooooo helpful and happyyyy

Tonight's performance of Romeo &Juliet by Ballet Cymru was outstanding!

The Riverfront is an excellent Newport asset, offering theatre, arts, live music, (2 venues) art gallery and a cafe - well worth a visit!

Loved it. Gone to the panto every grease since the theatre opened. Wherever you sit there is a great view, and the acoustics are fab

only ever visit the small cafe inside for it's great view, however prices are sky high

Good local place to visit on a smaller scale than the bigger cities

Architecturally impressive building in good setting, with full and diverse programme of arts and entertainment.

I have been here with my Family and met Patricia + Holly V.. We want to come back as soon as possible. Pat. and Holly are working hard and i hope successs is coming soon.

Great panto again this year . Took awhile to suss the concept as played in 1918 . Guess I'm old fashioned but still good show . Muddles my favourite.

Lovely venue in Newport city centre with lots of different things under one roof. During my visit there was a pantomime, Christmas market, quiz upstairs, youth break dancing classes and performing arts lessons in a studio!

a good postion a great place for a drink and a chat or food busy on county home games

A bright light and welcoming venue for music and more. We visited for a concert, Big Big Train. The acoustics are perfect, the seats comfortable and the venue not too big. Look forward to seeing more music at this venue.

My friend V &I had a fantastic evening @ the Riverfront "Island in the Stream" tribute to Dolly & Kenny,met some lovely people.Fantastic venue staff very friendly too,thank you Karen .

a good mix of things going on, always good to drop in + see what's happening. does feel a little directionless at times, but a great place none the less.

Very good local and modern theatre. Went to see a film ( Wind River - excellent). Shame the cinema wasn't well supported.

The Riverfront is Newport's newest theatre. It's sited on the bank of the river Usk and within very easy walking distance of the city centre.
It has a large foyer with a lovely cafe and it's very disabled friendly, with built in ramps etc.
They have a lovely selection of performances throughout the year, which cater for most tastes.

Friendly staff and good facilities. On site cafe offers a reasonable choice at good prices.

Great venue. Use this place a lot. Lovely theatre, great staff, always make you feel welcome. Took my grandchildren to see Aladdin on New year's Eve. They really enjoyed it.

Great venue, brilliant sound system another great concert, thoroughly enjoyed the Illegal Eagles best one we've been to so far!

Comfortable seating and good sound quality during ceremony.

An interesting unprecedented view and a theater building stylized as a ship.

Fantastic production of "Cinderella", with a slight twist. No Wicked Stepmother to influence the Ugly Sisters. They were absolutely fabulous by themselves. Nice inclusion of a song from "Les Mis", again. Overall, very worthy of every star above.

Really funny. Had loads of laughs. Trying to park close was the only let down.

There to see a tribute act. Artist great. Nightmare getting refreshmenys during interval & when we came out staff had packed up for night. No bar or refreshments available while we waited for our lift home.
