My wife and I arrived around 9pm and was greeted by a nurse, and dus to the corona virus, I was asked to wait outside, which is certainly understandable. After a while and normal tests for blood pressure and temperature, she was led into a waiting room. My wife mentioned that the conditions in terms of cleanliness was not at the level you would expect of a hospital, and how hot it was and in fact the odor evident in the building and in her waiting room. She was suffering from a lot of pain inside her mouth and lips, from canker sores, and the doctor who saw her spent just a couple of minutes with her, and then gave her a very small amount of medicine, that would only relieve some of her pain for about an hour. We ended up at a Price Chopper Grocery Store at 11pm, so we could purchase a non prescription product, as any further medication was denied by the doctor in the emergency department. Essentially very little compassion by this doctor for my wife's condition
Small hospital. Stunning river views. Very impressed with the care my friend recently received. In and out of ambulatory surgery on schedule. Staff was efficient and friendly. Parking was easy. No cafeteria.
Management and billing is extremely unprofessional and shady. There are better run places for medical treatment nearby. It's also expensive for what it is. I would not reccomend this place to a loved one or friend.
DO NOT COME i was sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours literally bawling in the pain i was in from my stomach AND NOBODY HELPED, they dont care
The staff is very unprofessional and extremely rude. They won t ask for a name if you call for someone specific, they will just tell you I don t know their name, so I can t help you with a large amount of attitude behind it. I feel a HUGE change in staff is needed to run the hospital the RIGHT way, to make patients more comfortable
Small convenient local hospital. Have used this emergency room more times than I care to count. Remember they have limited services but we are so grateful to have this resource in our community. For the most part they do good work.
My husband hurt his ankle while we were at our family s island and the nurses met us at the dock, rolled him up in a wheelchair and in no time at all he s xrayed, in a soft cast sporting crutches and we re outta there. The doctor, nurses, rad tech and admissions clerk were EXCELLENT!!
Thank you for your northern hospitality!

While the medical attention I received for a infected finger from a rusty fishhook was adequate, the billing fiasco that ensued was nothing short of a disaster. They "amended" the bill for lab work 3 months AFTER the original was submitted to my insurance. The amended portion was never submitted. The net was I had to submit it AFTER I paid it and that screwed up my deducible accounting royally since it bled into the next year. My advice.........drive the 30 miles to Watertown to a real hospital or Urgent Care center.
Fast no waiting for ED services. Small but efficient! Received great care at 2am on a Sunday morning. Board Certified ED Doctor present. RN's, and support staff were courteous and friendly. I hope I don't need to go again, but good to know the hospital is there and competent.
