Super service, great selection, delicious food perfect !!!

I would honestly say "well done!" From the space itself, the staff which make the atmosphere special and with the authenticity of stepping at least for just an evening in the heart of Italy, and last but not least the incredibly good food.

Absolutely disgusting! I ordered from this restaurant through ubereats. The sent me food with a massive fly in it. I can t believe it. What a waste of money. I can t believe they closed a container of food with a fly in it.

Great food and good service. Restaurant interior in places is slightly dated in my opinion e.g. decor and crockery but it didn't matter, we had a lovely meal and experience.

I've dined at Da Vinci's many times and have always looked forward to returning. The atmosphere is quiet and sophisticated (what was Sadia expecting - a DJ?) and the food, whilst not at the cutting edge of innovation, is excellent. The service is always first class. Highly recommended.

We ate here two times and every time everythi ng wad great,we tried each others plates because it all looked so good,homely cooked and comforting food.The service also really great. The best thing about Coventry is this restaurant!

The only place you can go in Coventry for a true sensory treat. The staff are always amazing and the food equisite.

Wow.. amazing food and service! Best italian restaurant in cov hands down, in fact better than a lot of restaurant i tried in Italy! You pay more but it is worth it.

On arrival the owner (I assume) gave us a table near the back of the restaurant, and explained the menu very quickly.

We were annoyed as he kept chatting with guests at another table and didn't bother coming back to us to ask if we wanted anything else or if food was OK etc.
In these current times, even though reviews for the restaurant are mostly positive, the owner should be careful with discriminating against his guests in this manner.
We have eaten in many fine dining places in and around London, so we are well acquainted with restaurant etiquette and felt uncomfortable and unwelcome by the arrogance of this owner. Certainly not going back.

This place is by far is the best restaurant in Coventry. Always a pleasure to go here. Food exceptional, service amazing.

I think this place is over rated. I felt it was well below mediocre: i felt the owner(perhaps?) was infriendly, impatient and sarcastic. The food was rubbish for the price. The atmosphere was dull. Will never be returning.

During my brief stay in Coventry this restaurant was a definite highlight. I know being from London I am spoiled where dining is concerned but the staff, food, and wine was nothing short of top class.

Been to the restaurant twice in the last couple of months. The service is excellent and the food is good. My wife particularly likes the steak Dianne, which is cooked at the table.

My daughter has also raved about the pasta and she is a very fussy eater.

Be there this Friday for my wife's birthday, looking forward to it :-)

Very high standard of everything at this Italian restaurant in Coventry, comparable with the standards in London. Food was excellent, service charming and the owner full of energy, charm and enthusiasm despite presumably having spent many years in the business and it being a quiet Monday in Coventry!

Absolutely fantastic meal, did the Salmon and prawns for starters, the Ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce for mains and finished off with the cheese platter, all washed down with the house red, perfect!! Not cheap but you get what you pay for!

The food was alright, we ordered a second carafe of wine, and had them mopping round our feet two minutes into drinking it, not the best service.

They were worried we wouldn't pay the check, and brought and charged us for an extra drink we didn't order.

We went here for a meal at New Year. We were shown to our table by a very friendly chap who got us seated and talked to us about our plans for the evening and provided menu's. The service by all the staff was excellent, they are helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic and the recommended wine was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The restaurant is well present and clean, cant fault anything about our evening.

Excellent lunch visit by the family.
We ate from the lunch menu. I had the interesting vegetable soup and the special venison with figs. The others went for the fish dishes. More relaxed than our evening visits, great service and good value.

Excellent food, excellent service and a great atmosphere

Want to impress someone with top class food then da vinci is the place

Enjoyed the food and so did my wife. Could not complain about any of the dishes and we ordered quite a varied selection from seafood and vegetarian to steak and chicken. A clean, calm & relaxed environment. Service was quick and proffesional. Prices are a little high, but nothing more than what you would expect from a good italian. Agree with the other reviewer that the menu appears a little dated, but none the less, I still liked it.

Food is always superb, but pricey and they will always try to up-sell you and get you to buy something extra.

Went in 12/01/2018 to pick up food. Made myself aware to the waiter with the big round black glasses, only to be told 'you have to wait' errr derrr of course im gona wait, i ordered for a reason, not too come and look at your face, it aint gnna come out of thin air is it. Im only making you aware of my presence ... Derr brain. Something along the lines of...... 'It wil be with you in 10 minutes' might help!

Excellent food, very friendly staff. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. The manager has a good sense of humour as well. Excellent dinner definitely look to go again.
