Really very nice restaurant!
We dined outside on the square but also inside the rooms are very nice and romantic. The fish menu was exquisite and the service polite and attentive.
I recommend it for a romantic dinner.

For heaven's sake, no dish is "bad". However, the quality of the presentation is much higher than the quality of the dish and the raw materials used. And obviously presentation alone is not enough. Especially if you have 16 starters and a 17 first course: a 17 first course cannot be just "beautiful", it must be perfect. And here we are very far from perfection ...

Found out with Tripadvisor that we thank you very much ... The wonderful Chef pampered us and spoiled us. We took the menu tasting fish. Magnificent tastes, originality, high quality raw materials and great professionalism of their transformation. Environment inside with a few places while outside several tables. You can't leave Spoleto without having a meal at the Tempio del Gusto! Seeing is believing!

Exceptional reception that immediately puts you at ease and an amazing cuisine with excellent dishes both for quality and preparation. I would recommend tasting the destructured carbonara, the risotto with truffles with shells of St. Jack and the strangozzi with truffles, all paired with an amazing wine Le Grazie, MONTEFALCO red of 2011! I forgot the desserts ..... a hymn to the 'throat'! We came back the next evening.

The dishes are starred. Nothing to say. The chef is very kind: I took a long time to order the first course and while I was waiting he made me a mini portion. The place is a bit vintage and the waitresses are very courteous. From what I saw from the plates, the owner is also a sommelier ... however, even in this case, the glass and the pairing with food are not explained when brought to the table. Small tricks that could improve one of the best restaurants tried in Umbria.

We were in Spoleto for a District Assembly of the Rotaract Club at the Albornoz Palace Hotel and the following day, after having been pleasantly lost in the historic center of the city, we had lunch at Il Tempo del Gusto restaurant. A wonderful surprise that added to the others of the morning! An elegant and well-kept restaurant and a refined cuisine presented with first-class dishes. I took a deconstructed Carbonara: very good!
I highly recommend it to those who think that even at the table the eye wants its part.

The cuisine is of a high standard but evidently much closer to the French tradition than to the Italian one. For my tastes the raw material is dominated by the personality of the chef but there is still a personal judgment. Very good compliments

The name "The temple of taste" is nothing short of apt. Divine dishes and quick and friendly service. The dislocation of the spaces and the tables is labyrinthine but suggestive, it almost seems to go back in time.

i love this restaurant in the historic center of Spoleto. I was here on the first evening of my stay in Umbria this summer. I found myself so well that I decided to go back also on the last night before leaving. The truffle menu is divine. The location is very nice, the outdoor tables are located in a delightful square. Excellent appetizers, first courses and wines, but in general everything was excellent. Highly recommended!!
