Riptides Raw Bar and Grill Reviews

We had had a blast! 5 stars. Tara was our server. She was outstanding! We got amazing food and service was a 10 star. We got refills right away. Food came out hot. Bathrooms was clean. Very busy on Xmas night but service was great! Food was about the going prices for a restaurant in this area. I am a surfer. It s a surfers restaurant paradise! Surf and eat in one stop. Please come by your won t regret it! Shop at the gift shop. We both got tees and hats. TVs for surfing and football. Sports TVs at the surf bar. Enjoying out side seating too. All was employees was welcoming customers. As they entered. 25 mins wait at high peek times!

Saw a banner while sitting on the beach advertising this place. Went and had an EXCELLENT meal. We ordered 2lbs of Crab Legs that were very good and also the Stuffed Grouper which was delicious. Place was pretty busy so we opted to sit at the bar and eat and the bartender handled the entire bar by himself flawlessly. Kept the drinks coming and took and delivered orders like it was nothing. Very friendly as well. Only suggestion was 1 of the 2 hostesses was kind of out of it and not very helpful, but the other was on point and helpful.

Great all you can eat crab. Didn't make it awkward for asking for more. Although those crabs weren't as full of meat as I wanted.... it is not really a crab season lol

Food was good. Decent atmosphere. We didn't like the coleslaw, rice, or the plantains the rest of our meal was good and mattered most. The shrimp was spectacular. Crab legs were very good. The coconut fudge bar desert was spectacular. The seafood macncheese was a delicious plate as well.

This place was awesome. Our server, Shaina was awesome. Sat outside and we ordered the gator tails and calamari as appetizers which were delicious. Also tried the seafood Mac n cheese, the stuffed NY strip, and the coconut shrimp (my favorite). Everything was delicious and their mixed drinks are also awesome. Highly recommended.

Definitely interesting. Hard to get into at night it's always busy. But with the live music it's pretty fun. Riptide sauce reminds me of Arby's sauce. They put it with their shrimp and chicken. I don't think I had any negatives besides the wait. But hey that's a given .

Anyways if you are hungry then I'd suggest a nice steak and shrimp meal other than that if you want a quick bite, you may wait awhile but I think you'll enjoy their grouper cakes or crab cakes along with their signature bisque. Give em a try just remember it may be better to call in ahead. Especially on weekends.

We were in Daytona beach for our honeymoon and decided to meet some family for lunch! My wife and I ordered the fish tacos. WOW, those were delicious! We were not let down! Riptides Raw Bar and Grill was wonderful! The service was spot on and the atmosphere was great! Next time we are back in the area, we will definitely by stopping by.

Love this place. Great vibe, staff is super nice and fast, and food is crazy good. Large portions and fresh. Had the fried green tomatoes for an app and it s just tomatoes but theirs is sooo good. Had to get boxes to go there was so much food left. Drinks are very good also. Very short wait to get in. Free valet parking but of course tip. Wear a jacket because inside is cold! Wish we lived closer to make this our spot.

Great place for crab. The big wave is pricey but was good for the amount of food you get. Our server was very attentive and we never had to ask for refills etc. The carved coconuts you get for mixed drinks are fun!

Stay away from the calamari, it was terrible. But the rest of my meal was great! Fried Shrimp, sweet potato fries, then Banana Bread Pudding for dessert! The place was adorable too. Just go early, it gets packed beginning at 6:00.
