Great location, good food. Social distancing in effect. No straws at the restaurant. Smaller menu for lunch, but good cream of crab.

Not as good as the Restaurant use to be. Soup and entree served only luke warm. Crab meat did not taste fresh. Not warm at all. Dessert was awesome...Cake Cake moist and really tasteful !

Great food and service! Every time one of my besties visits RIP's is our go to spot! You won't be disappointed.

Yes, it's a mid-level buffet. However, this place was very good. Included in the price was a mimosa, coffee, tea, and the best omlet I've had in quite a while. The breakfast entries were good, and they had several lunch items as well. Go early!

Some unique items on the menu, like a Monte Cristo sandwich and fried green tomatoes. I didn't enjoy the salad I ordered, but the crab soup was great and the other items that came to our table were ok. Some of the items reminded me of institutional food which was disappointing, but could also just be what we ordered. Dessert was great and they have tons of options on the drink list.

I wish I had a picture of my cod and fries which was delicious and pretty to look at. My mom and I went for lunch on a Friday and first let me CDC say the food was hot like fresh hot. My mom loves trout and it's on the menu as broiled so she requested a light fry and when it came out perfectly cooked and seasoned I breathed a sigh of relief because moms is picky! Kudos to the chef you really made my Mississippi born mother happy.

The staff was wonderful and our waitress was one of a kind. We tip extra for good service and dhe recieved a good tip. And the food was delicious and plenty of it. I had liver and onions.

We decided to stop in on a Saturday around 1130 after having driven past so many times. Atmospere is nice, candle smelled great at entrance, and staff are super friendly. My toddler ordered mac n cheese and fries, my hisband the MacDaddy burger with fries, and I the Chesapeake Burger with house chips. We started off with wings which were delicious. The burgers were of good size;however lacked seasoning. The mac n cheese was super cheesy but lacked salt. The house chips were very crispy but the fries were a vit on the oldish tasting side.

Overall, I would give a 3.5. My husband and I probably won't return for seconds TBH. But great staff and cozy restaurant. Also very prompt service.

This is one of my favorite stops along Hwy 301. Hands down they serve the best bread pudding anywhere! Good for breakfast and happy hour especially. There is also a fairly decent sized banquet room for private events. I love that there is a liquor store attached. I dislike the bathrooms and parking lot here. Not that either of those things stop me from visiting!

Had the meatloaf was ok nothing to brag about was ok

Great brunch. Gave it 4 stars because they changed the prices (higher) for "holiday brunch" but served the same food...

Food was just ok cream of crab soup was like mush overpriced.

Every time I visit this place, I'm more impressed with the quality of establishment it really is. A friend from California wanted to take us out for dinner, and we didn't want to go all the way to Annapolis. Rip's was every bit as classy and typical Maryland as we wanted. The crab cakes are great, and the "turf" options are not slacking.

Always been a good place to grab a happy drink and a quick bite. Prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for.

This place has been around for a long time and for good reason. The breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning is well worth the trip and the staff was so friendly.

Amazing chicken, and really great dinner options. The beet salad is something special as well. I was super disappointed in their brunch though, probably just a matter of personal opinion on dish choices.

Serves good variety of American dishes at reasonable prices including liver and onions for those as is likes it. A rarity in the area.

Great place. Huge beer selection @ the liquor store. The restaurant has been there since the 50s and the service, food is why.

I'd personally rather have a bite to eat from the liquor store restaurant than the actual restaurant. I'm just not at all impressed with the restaurant food. Best prices on wine in the store part as well

The Brunch Buffet in Sundays has a great variety of delicious Foods great service! Will definitely be back and will being friends and Family for this dining experience

Stopped at Rips and we were still able to get breakfast but my husband got lunch...love the ambiance, the waitresses are very friendly and serve quickly....I loved my creamed chip beef and had to take some home...mu husband enjoyed his crab cake sandwich meal...

Our first time there. We went for breakfast, had the eggs benedict over hash and it was delicious! Staff was very nice, not 5 stars only because service was slow (could be because it was Monday holiday) will go back for sure

I always come buying some food in this place. I enjoy the speedy customer service and well cooked food. Kudos.

Service was okay. Hostess couldn't approximate how long the wait would be. Food was not very good, but kind of pricey.

I been here before its best buffet breakfast and lunch brunch its a good buffet and restaurant in the largest city of our county in Bowie that is Bowie and I was born in 1991 so I have been here for 26 years going places like IHOP and other restaurants those days.

We were celebrating my husbands birthday. This was the perfect spot. The food was amazing as was the service!

This place is awesome! I HATE having to go into the city to get non cookie cutter dishes, Rips offers a great variety (while still having classics), housemade drinks (many of which are made with their HOUSEMADE liquors and mixers) and overall above average service. I LOVE that I can just pull right up in their parking lot and be inside in seconds, opposed to having to walk blocks to get there. Rips gives me everything I'd get in the city (DC or Baltimore) without the stress or hassle of it! Selena, who works in the bar seating area puts the cherry on top with her attention to detail, hospitality and unmatched service. I highly recommend Rips Country Inn and when you go ask for Selena! Enjoy!

Great menu and friendly service. Neat history, too. If you go to Rips, walk around and check out the "horse stall" booths, with their equine decorations.

Very good comfort food options. I'm a big fan of the Meatloaf. I like that they mix tomatoes in with the gravy. Taste just like my grandmother's. Usually receive great service and everyone is friendly. Great atmosphere as well.

If you love seafood , country style ... this is the place. Their cream of crab soup or the melt is awesome. Loved the food and ambience.
