Great, fresh food and awesome location facing the beach. Owner/manager is also super nice and went out of his way to help us.

I got the lobster roll which did not taste good at all! Had onions for one which I have never heard of nor did it say it did on the menu, the bread was stale and the lobster was old!
I also ordered a pina colada and it was a virgin I spent all this money on terrible food!!
We used Ripka's catering for our wedding at Sheffield Island. We booked this with them in January of 2020 and through all the uncertainty they stuck with us and put together an incredible event. Since we did not have dancing due to COVID, the food was the main focus (after the bride, of course). Clyde put together passed appetizers plus a 5 course meal, with wine pairings and it was some of the best food we've had. Our guests were raving! The staff that day couldn't have been more accommodating and made sure we had everything we wanted. Would absolutely recommend for catering and can't wait to spend more evenings at the beach cafe.

We are so lucky to have a place like this in our town. Amazing food, great drinks and a great view. Hot lobster roll is to die for. It s a must visit when in Norwalk. Keep up the great work.

Our son was married September 5th, 2020 on Sheffield Island off the coast of Norwalk, Connecticut. Clyde and his staff provided the most magnificent outdoor, catered affair. The food, the presentation, the thoughtful pairing with wines, the tablescapes, the staff, and the efficient, courteous service was first rate. Every guest commented on the extraordinary job that Clyde and his staff did. There was not one detail that hadn't been thoughtfully attended to, to make the reception absolute perfection and what our son and his bride had planned and imagined. We are most grateful Clyde!
