Kevin and his staff we extremely helpful with all the details that this matter involves.
He was able to answer all of our questions and handle everything for us, so all we had to was pray and get through these difficult times.
I can't thank him enough for all the attention to detail and being so caring.

I'm adding this after reading other reviews: Faith, went out of her way to make sure everything was done right. She is professional, and makes sure of an answer before giving you an answer ,that due to changes in the company, that may be wrong. She has a great heart and will go far in this business. All the people at Ridouts are professional caring people that maintain the high standards set by the generations that came before them. I,for one, am glad they are here.

My family recently lost my nephew to a longterm illness and although it was expected, it was still very hard, especially on my sister. My nephew's death really took a tole on her as no parent should have to bury their child. Ridout's Chapel was everything we had hoped it would be. Ms. Walker went above and beyond to meet our needs, answer all our questions and get us through this. She met us at the door with a smile and walked my sister out to her car leaving her with a hug. She truly made us feel like family. These situations are never easy but it helps knowing there are still caring people out there that are not only in it for a paycheck, thank you.

Went to the trunk or treat on Tuesday and everyone was so nice. I hope to see this continue over the years.

This is the only chapel we have used for our family. Ridout's has been nothing but professional, courteous and kind through a emotionally difficult time.

I lost my son 6 1/2 years ago. I recently lost my husband as well. I wanted to have the same casket for my husband that my son had. They went into their stored files and found his folder as it was no longer in the system. I was able to have them both in the same style casket. We also changed the pastor at the last minute and they had already made up the cards to hand out. They were not aware until time for visitation at our church. Faith offered to run back to the office and make up new ones. I would not let her do this, but it was very kind of her to offer

My grandmother passed and Ridouts made the process so much easier and hassle free. Faith was an absolute angel and helped our family in so many ways. She was on top of her job and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed!

We unexpectedly lost a family member right before thanksgiving last year , it was extremely hard for all of us especially my father. The staff went out of their way for us, and were so kind and compassionate. This was my first time helping to plan a funeral, I had no idea how or what to do, turns out I didn t need to know, they handled everything and patiently walked me through every decision that needed to be made. So at thanksgiving I gave thanks for the wonderful people at Ridots, that I now consider friends.

Management was exceptionally helpful. Very caring people. Many thanks for your help. Our family appreciates everything you did to help us.

I took my children by here during the Prattville Candy Walk and everyone was so inviting! They were so sweet to my little girl and loaded her up with candy. Thank you for participating and giving our community fun events to enjoy!

This establishment went above and beyond for my family. They treated us with respect, love, and passion. Every need was met before we even had to ask! All the employees were outstanding but especially Mrs.Walker. Some people are blessed enough to find their true calling and I firmly believe she did just that, thank you!

Kevin was very helpful and compassionate, and a big plus was he didn't try to recommend something when didn't need.

We made our own movie for my grandfathers visitation and it did not work when we got there, which was no fault of the funeral home. HOWEVER, the person working our visitation, informed us that WE PAID FOR A MOVIE IN THE PACKAGE THAT WE BOUGHT, and Mrs. Walker never once told us that service was included IN WHAT WE PAID FOR!!!!! Completely disappointed in the service, or lack thereof we received. We buried my uncle (a year ago) and the gentleman who handled everything then did a stand up job, so I'm not sure what has happened in a year, but its unacceptable to purchase for things you don't even know you are paying for and not even get the option to use then on top of it all.

Several of my family members have been handled through Ridout s Prattville Chapel. The folks here are amazing, as they have always shown great compassion with my family. I will forever be grateful for their kindness!

Huge 5 stars for trunk or treat. It was awesome to see a funeral joining in with community to celebrate such a happy time for kids and adults. Only thing that missing that would have been great was to have the hearse out to look at. Great job!!!

The staff was very friendly and handled my father's funeral better than I ever imagined possible. Everything was handled with perfection in mind. They helped with all aspects of planning and logistics. I would give more stars if I could. I highly recommend but pray you don't need them soon.

I believe my family was taken advantage of during a time of grief... we were made to purchase food that we didn't really need and the young lady, Faith, who "helped" my family could not answer half of the questions we had... although the service was nice, I do not believe we will be seeking the assistance of this funeral home again. If your director can't answer any question without "..... ummmmmm let me get back to you on that..." maybe they are not the right person to attend to people who are obviously going to have a lot of questions, when a loved one passes. Disappointing that anyone should have to deal with this!

thank you for the service i received on july 17th when i had a loved one pass . you went out of you way. you went to the grave site and provided a chaplin. the grave site was 80 to 90 miled away. the service you provided was great. thank you faith

When my husband passed, Ridouts made the process very easy. Faith was so very helpful assisting me and my family in every way possible. She answered all of our questions and handled everything in a professional manner. When Faith was unavailable Kevin was there to assist in any way he could and also did a great job. It was a pleasure dealing with these individuals and knowing that they will be there any time their assistance is needed.

I was on my way to take my niece and nephew to the Prattville City Candy Walk and noticed the Trunk Or Treat set up at your facility. I loved the way you all were trying to be involved in the community while bringing fun to others. Side note, I also had relatives use you all for an out of town service a few weeks ago and our family has had nothing but pleasant things to say. Faith was their director and Kevin directed the graveside service in north Alabama. Thank you all for all that you do and everything you are trying to do. We as a community see it.

The Trunk or Treat was such a pleasant surprise!! The people working it were very friendly and very generous with the candy. Such a great way to get involved in the community.

Is truly hard to understand why loved ones are taken from us at the time they are. With the help of Jeremy and the staff of Rideout's we were able to go through this process with the greatest assurance that everything was being handled with kindness and personal attention. This gave us total confidence in knowing we were doing the best we could through these troubling and challenging times

Every experience I ve had at rideouts has been nothing but amazing . Thanks to all staff for being amazing during the time of loss we have experienced . Mrs .Walker has done an exceptional job and has gone above and beyond to help our family . We will continue to always use rideouts in the future .

The staff are some of the most caring and sympathetic people that I have ever dealt with. They go over and above to make families feel comforted and ease the pain of an extremely difficult event. They work diligently with the family to complete the arrangements without any undue stress.

I recently attended the viewing and funeral for a dear friend of mine here. The staff was friendly, professional and the young girl that assisted the family was very attentive. I plan to use you all for any services I may need for my own family as well as recommending your facilities to others.

I attended my uncle's funeral here Sunday and was very disappointed in several things. One, they did a terrible job Uncle Wilson, he didn't look anything like himself. It wouldn't have been that hard to fill out his face a little as he has always had a full face with a full chin abs neck area. His face looked almost caved in on one side. It would have helped by simply putting his glasses on him. If you had just studied his pictures a little you could tell how to help him. When it's going to be the last time you will ever see someone again it's important it looks like them! You ran out of the cards and some of the family didn't even get one. The music could have been a hundred times better too.

If you know anyone with asthma, you need to tell them to stay AWAY from this business at all costs (which will be a LOT if you go there, anyway). But they should seriously put a BIO HAZARD sign outside because of the excessive and disgustingly HEAVY use of their (so called) "air freshener".
