No food for their buffet, all you can eat crab legs?

Only went here once with some co-workers. They gave me a really hard time about my ID and in the end we ended up leaving without even getting in the door. I have since taken my business to the Lac Leemy Casino and have had no qualms.

So this is the first time I have been back since they switched ownership... I find the slot selection to be fairly lacking and definitely not as enticing as some of the other close by casinos... I ordered 1 double caesar to drink and seriously regret it... full glass of ice, poured my 2 shots, added MORE ice as alcohol melts it, then added watered down clamato.... I then ordered a tall glass of gingerale NO ICE... it was like drinking club soda with a tinge of ginger flavor... the payouts seem alright but nothing major went off throughout the night

It was ok. Not liking the old fashion way of having a soft drink or coffee. Time to get with the times and have a station.

Beautiful night at the races, exciting races, good club sandwich with very good big cut french fries and Labatt Blue. Betting parlors, bar attendee and staff in general always friendly.

Amazing location. Soon to be excellent with the Hard Rock Renovations.

Came in with friends for a Friday buffet - on Fridays they add on a steak. The steak was very good, a huge piece of meat to add to a buffet meal, but I did what I could.
The options were prolific, but varying degrees of flavour, quality and doneness. A pretty typical buffet overall. You learn by the time you're done what you should have had seconds of or not.
The service was ok, but sometimes hard to flag down our server.

First time at the race. I like very much!
Do not forget your identity card.

Good place to be intertain, and the food in the restaurant extra good, love it.

Great value restaurant...2 for 1 and a $5 bonus on your card...played with it on the machines and got a free meal to boot.

Seem to be very racist. Would not give me membership card because of my last name !!

Nothing to add, however found out that they are eliminating many staff, typical AMERICANS!

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are cheap buffet days. The food is not spectacular but not as good as I would expect from this establishment.

Buffet was very good..Filet mignon excellent. It was a fun evening. Leave your bank card at home! Take cash you want to spend. Longest lines seemed to be at bank machine, not ticket redemption. Lol

Had a great time but coffee servers did come by very often.

Under construction right now. Loud inside gaming are and very narrow path from entrance due to the construction Grandstands a bit neglected could use some upgrades

Love it the summer nights concerts are amazing. Great atmosphere .

It was a great and fun experience I have never been this was my first year and I will definitely be back next year

The overall look of this place is very poor, building in need of major renovations, the food was ok with lots of options for sugar free and lactose free, lots of bilingual staff

Nice casino in Ottawa, with the conversion to Hard Rock theres a lot of new stuff going in. Ive always been a slots guy, but the tables are rather exciting. Live music on occasion and they play nicely. Food is good too, its a casino so it better. Try to bring in your own cash, the ATM fees are a little high. Staff are very polite and professional.

To rate 1 star because you lost is hysterical, you dont always win genius, you may lose on your next 5 visits before you win something. My only tick against it is the lack of enforcement when its busy and a guest is playing 2 to 4 machines at once.

Dinner on race night is great when you want to do something different.

Made a reservation for 16 guests - 1 had a birthday - so included a piece of cake, a ride in the pace car and great entertainment. Birthday boy, along with the rest, had a great time. Excellent buffet and service. Kid friendly.

Really good music and bar now this place is way better than before. Alot of fun younger crowd new games lots of card tables!!

Buffett meal is excellent quality and staff throughout the place are all very good.

The buffet is good if you are hungry but i can't bring the kids. Also it is a little expensive.

Dinner at their buffet was fantastic. The place does seem outdated. Luckily they are turning it into a hard rock casino in the near future.

They've got tables at the casino now. The dealers are all great and very informative. Fantastic place to visit.

Nice atmosphere, food was tasty, and the service was very pleasant. However, I found the cutlery and the plates not very clean.

I was with my 19 year old daughter and of course she was asked for her I.D. when we entered through the Casino. As we were leaving the restaurant, to exit the same way we entered, she was carded again. This makes perfect sense as there is a separate entrance from the exterior into the restaurant. I found the Robo-Cops to be very rude, stepping out of his little kiosk to cut her off from entering the Casino as she was cooperating with his request for I.D. by going into her purse. Not knowing how many "instances" they encounter, I felt it was a little umm...forceful. Under the circumstances. salt and peppered father in his 50's leaving brunch with his younger daughter, I didn't think we posed that great of a threat. What was the worst that could happen, she puts some money into a machine and is asked to leave?!!! A little more thought into "reading the play" could/should have been exercised.

Got a free $20 card. Got to play for 1.5 hours for free, plus, I was able to get a drink at the casino and later two burgers from McDonald's lol, with the rewards I got. Awesome night all for free.
For people who have had issues with the free card: simply keep inserting the card and it will eventually work. A bit annoying but not too bad.

Lots if slots and a few tables. Renovations are coming along and the updates look great
Live music ended early but was very entertaining.

Food is always pretty good. Good mix of slots and table games.

It would be even better if they would have drink stations. A place where you grab your drink without getting a dirty look if you don't give a tip. After all, a lot of money goes into those machines. Example, Casino Lac Leamy

Too noisy especially speaker announcements.

Also choice to turn down slot machine volumes- many people complain about this.

***Another big complaint is I wish better signage or obvious notice to players to be courteous and not play 2 machines at a time.

I have even phone copied your notice at entrance and told to bug off.

This is VERY FRUSTRATING when you end up getting made to feel like a bad guy and even been called a
feffen c***!

I have had to call an attendand many times then everyone sits watching situation.

We are playing only pennies and for fun but many players just do not care and won't budge.

I would like to play certain machines as well as others .

Fun place. Hopefully It will be even better when the renos are done.

Has gone down hill over the years. Staff asks for 2 pieces of ID when seeing you leave and come in after a smoke and are very rude about it. 1/10 would not recommend

Great variety in entertainment, lovely restaurant, excellent parking. Really busy though so definitely try to plan it out so you're not going when it's bursting at the seams with people.

Casino experience wasn't bad I suppose, 3/5 at best. But the food, extremely disappointing in their selection. Quite a small selection and what they did have wasn't all that good considering the price.

Total rip-off. Overpriced. No wonder no one comes here.

That female security in the front was very rude and unprofessional when asking to see my ID. No sense of customer service. Food was average.

The buffet is pretty decent for the price. Also great entertainment when there are live races.
