Best hotel breakfast in Norway. Good, comfortable room. Without a doubt the best hotel in Trondheim

Nice hotel with an AMAZING breakfast! Just absolutely horrible to sleep with the window up and get a lot of noise because they do not have air conditioning in the rooms. Bad! The receptionist told me that most hotels in Norway do not have air conditioning but this was my first stay in a proper hotel with cruel sleeping temperature! Simply a sweaty night! Will not be back!

Incorporated in the Trondheim jazz festival at a free concert with The Real Thing, but should have been done a little on the premises so it would be better to hold a concert. Otherwise very good.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Not all rooms face the river. But they are well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Really well located. Near the station and just 10 minutes from the old bridge and 15 minutes from the cathedral.

Trendy place with a relaxed and professional service. The atmosphere is amazing and so is the breakfast. Awarded Norways best hotel breakfast and it is well deserved... trust me (I am not even a morning person).

The best breakfast I have eaten so far, however, the beds could have been better, otherwise great hotel in the center of the center.

Nice location, large rooms, great view.
Equipment is pretty simple, especially in the bathroom.
In the evenings it is pretty dark in the room, as there is no ceiling light and the other light sources are not particularly sufficient.
The staff is very courteous and friendly.
And yes, the famous breakfast is very good and plentiful.

Very good hotel with the best breakfast in all of Norway. Located close to the beautiful city of Trondheim.

The rooms need to be modernized a bit, but everything else is fine. Good meeting rooms and, surprisingly, a very good restaurant, slow service, but very good all dishes.

Brilliant breakfast. Otherwise, the hotel was about like other Scandic hotels. Nice service!

The buffet was excellent, with a great selection of both cold cuts, christmas dishes and desserts. The downsides are long waiting times to get in (even with a reservation), and a pretty long coffee queue (for anything else than regular black coffee)

The rooms in the conference section are getting tired

Very good lunch.
The rooms were tidy, except that one of the dental glasses was very dirty, of course this was replaced when it was told to the front desk.
In addition, the overflow opening in the sink in the bathroom was full of coating. This was not visible over the sink, but only via the mirror image from the mirror.
Anyway a hotel recommended.

Very pleased with Scandic Nidelven, recommends everyone to experience a very good breakfast floating over Nidelven.

I also give top notch ratings due to location, infrastructure and hosts. Magic and get into the reception, or can I say? the giant beautifully decorated foyer with many places and move further into the hotel's various organs. (Restaurant, bar, conference room. Etc.)

A very well situated hotel, nice and with an excellent breakfast

Dirty in the room and so did several other guests. Duvets and pillows seemed old and widely used. The bed only seemed to be properly arranged on one side.

Good breakfast and lunch.

Christmas party! The food was lovely and you could choose from an incredible amount. Excellent and service minded staff.

The staff messed up a lot according to the pre-order for food, those with allergies got the food after we had received dessert.

Breakfast is fantastic at Norwegian hotels, but this is the best breakfast I have had so far.
