For my middle school kid, we were in search for an experienced yet up to date to latest dental advancements, and I finally competed my research to find Dr. Alexa Alborzi. Dr. Alborzi and her team is extremely friendly, well-organized, courteous and they maintain a great sanitized environment that made us feel very comfortable and safe. The x-ray and scanning was done in a timely and comfortable manner for my son. Post scanning doctor explained the problem statement and examination summary very clearly using models and also showed us how her Invisalign treatment plan will completely eliminate the crowding of teeth for my son in addition to expanding his jaw arches to satisfactory level. In the past, we were discouraged due to "uncomfortable" treatment options like expanders etc. that we were not ready for. Dr. Alexa Alborzi explained with confidence how she can handle Phase 1 and Phase2 with her vast experience and expertise and also showed some before and after experience pictures to boost our confidence. In fact our primary dentist also raised some doubt and concern about our decision to move forward with Dr. Alborzi as many dental professionals have limited experience on new technology and advances and even out of their utmost care for their patients they end up overlooking modern options available for treating orthodontic conditions. In fact, I ended up reading the entire book about Premier Orthodontists that features modern technology and advancements in Orthodontics and features Dr. Alborzi work among others. I found this book as a valuable and helpful experience based research. We are confident and optimistic as we start our journey with Dr. Alborzi for myself and my son. I was also impressed to find on the website about Dr. Alborzi as she does lot of non-profit work for underprivileged and needy children as well to give back to community. We are also exploring for my wife orthodontic treatment as well now that we have found Dr. Alexa Alborzi, we feel confident to receive personalized and best in class Orthodontist care. Dr. Alexa Alborzi is our choice of family Orthodontist. If you have not met with her for your Orthodontics needs you are missing out! Good luck!

Dr. Alborzi is easily the best Orthodontist in San Mateo, CA. I have known her for quite some time and she has always helped me, answering my questions and helping me with my Invisalign needs. Her staff are extremely professional, accommodating, and efficient. All of them make you feel super comfortable and welcomed. I have no back off on recommending her Orthodontics services to my friends and family.

I just finished my treatment with Doctor Alborzi and I couldn t be happier. I had consultations with other orthodontists who told me I was not a good candidate for Invisalign and that what I wanted to achieve would require wire braces. A friend referred me to Alborzi and she said it was definitely possible. About a year and half later my smile looks great! She made adjustments throughout the treatment and made sure my teeth were perfect, even when I thought they looked great she said we can keep going and make them even better. Her staff is very friendly. I highly recommend her office.

I love how this place makes me feel. And this is not something you can say about majority of Orthodontics offices. Very sweet and friendly receptionist , knowledgeable and helpful stuff and most importantly very experienced specialist.

My last visit went well. I was scanned for invisalign refinements. The procedure was painless, and all my questions were answered clearly and completely.

My oldest son was told by another orthodontist that he needed to pull two wisdom teeth before he was given braces. Luckily at a club meeting, Dr. Alborzi was there and told me that more than likely she could do the work without pulling the teeth. I was worried about my son losing his strong jaw line when he was an adult. She was able to use the Damon system to correct his smile and did an excellent job, all without pulling teeth. I am very happy with the correction and immediately signed up my younger son when it was time for his braces. Be sure to check out Dr. Alborzi before you make a 2+ year investment in your child's lifelong smile. You'll be glad you did!

All of the staff are really wonderful and nice. Dr Alborzi always does everything that she can to make us feel the best as possible.

When my teeth weren't straight, I refused to smile and didn't really like being in photos at all because I was embarrassed about how my teeth looked. I wanted to get braces so bad. Then my parents and Dr. Alborzi suggested Invisalign. I was reluctant at first, but I was very excited to see what I would look like with straight teeth. And I was not let down. My teeth look so good and it makes me so happy to look in the mirror and see a beautiful smile. I now love being in pictures and I love my smile.

Dr. Alborzi's office does a wonderful job they treat patients with a lot of professionalism always prompt for appts. They keep the kids motivated through contests and points, they really make them a part of the orthodontic process in a fun way.

Dr. Alexa Alborzi was recommended to me by Dr. John Lusardi for the reason that she is an expert in her profession. She and her staff are very courteous and very much in touch with their clients' needs.

Dr. Alborzi has done a terrific job of straightening and lengthening my teeth. I use to not have a beautiful smile and refuse to face the camera, as my upper lips covered my top teeth and was showing only my lower teeth. But that changed because of Dr. Alborzi. Not only do I smile with confidence, my photographs taken after orthodontic work are now far more pleasing to look at.

Coming to Dr. Alborzi's office is always a delight. They maintain a pleasant atmosphere with their up-to-date holiday decorations. They also promote raffle drawings and give away fun prizes. It is one of the most fun dental offices I have ever seen!

They did a great job encouraging me to wear my invisalign and by the end of my treatment my teeth are now very straight and my bite improved very much.

My son and I both rec'd treatment beginning in 2012-2013 and have been in retainers for several years now. My son had traditional braces and his experience was unremarkable (hence one star). My experience was totally different. I did Invisalign, which ultimately worked but took a year longer than quoted (with Dr. Alborzi showing up as condescending and argumentative during the many complications from treatment through retention). But I'm not even writing about that, I'm writing about the predatory practice that I just experienced this morning when I went in to replace the retainer I lost on Friday. Retainers are pretty important...without them, you lose all the time and money that came before. And retainers aren't forever: the materials break, they can get misplaced. While I was still an "active" patient (as of 2018?!) I paid $300 for retainers. This morning they were going to charge me $600 per, $1,200 for two retainers (I wanted a spare on-hand). When I said it was too much, they gave me one other option of getting four for $960. This is an exploitative, predatory practice. The true character of a provider reveals when you've already paid the largest bill.

Wow!! The service from all the staff is the best! There are always beautiful smiles that make you feel happy and confident in giving you a bright smile!

Everyone is the office is very nice and professional. The appointments are kept on-time and with the Invisalign we don t have to come every month which is a plus. We have already referred someone to Dr. Alborzi s office and they are also having a great experience. Besides all that, our daughter s teeth are looking gorgeous and she s only been a patient just shy of a year!

The staff and Dr. Alborzi are all very pleasant to interact with and I felt they were very straightforward with what was expected of me during my Invisalign treatment, including wearing my rubber bands and keeping them in the appropriate amount of time. I had braces as a child, then didn't wear my retainer... So I decided to fix my teeth again. Dr Alborzi did a very good job of straightening my teeth! I was initially a little hesitant because when I had my consultation it was over zoom (during the beginning of the Pandemic) with her assistant and a 2nd call with Dr Alborzi herself, and I didn't get a chance to meet them in person. However I decided to go with Alborzis office given all the good reviews she has. My teeth look great and she fixed my minor bite issue in only 7 months! I was scheduled to see her every 3 months, but I had an attachment fall off and needed a rescanning of my teeth for final retainers, but they were nice enough to accommodate me last minute.

The most friendly and well organized dental group our family has ever encountered! Dr. Alborzi is always smiling ~ great work!

My daughter always has a good experience at Dr Alborzis! Everyone there is friendly and I appreciate that she gets to see the same person each time. She feels comfortable and looks forward to her appointments. Her treatment is taking just as much time as they had originally predicted.
I also like the fact that Dr. Alborzi's office was willing to help me with a payment plan that worked for me. They do a great job of personalizing treatment and payments to work for each family.

Dr. Alborzi's office is always nice and clean. The staff take the time to get to know their patients, they are very friendly. I was unable to make my appointment last week and the staff was able to fit me in this week at a time that wouldn't interfere with my school schedule.
