Beautiful theater with courteous staff, plenty of parking in area.
Five dollar movie night was great with the family we seen the Blues Brothers
Beautiful theater, great entertainment offered, easy parking...what more can you ask for?
Went here for my bday last year, I forgot who he was, but the comedian was great!
Great intimate place to see a show!! The sound is awesome!!
Had a great time when we saw wynonna and would go again to see another concert
I saw Gaelic Storm and had front row center. It was a fantastic show. The theater is beautiful and well organized with friendly helpful staff. Parking is right across the street fro the theater.
Awesome, beautiful establishment. Family friendly. Thinking about taking my kids to see there first band in March. An 80's tribute hair band. Hoping that will also be family friendly lol.
Beautiful theatre, everyone should see it and support it. Good variety of entertainment too.
Beautiful theater excellent place to see a great show
Great sound, great staff ,free parking lot right across the street
Amazingly beautiful theater in downtown Joliet. Saw the "Sting". Would return in a heart beat.
Great old theater in downtown Joliet with a serious history behind it and hopefully a bright future ahead.
We went to see Whose Line comedy and it was hilarious! Good choices in booking. As for the theater, it is BEAUTIFUL. Free parking nearby after 7pm.
Cool place to see a show, mainly sitting, has been older crowd past few times, good acoustics, comfy seats.
Saw feherty, there acoustics were a little tough, but then again it may have been his Irish speech. Wonderful venue
Lovely backstage tour and historical commentary along with a short concert highlighting the Barton organ
Beautiful historic theatre with ornate decor. It's a real gem.
Beautiful theater it's like you stepped back in time
I love the nostalgic feel of sitting in the balcony with my husband like we did almost 60 years ago. The crowds are not overwhelming, like it is in much bigger venues. Parking is easy, close by and FREE!
Loved it very well managed and great staff! It's been a long time since we had been, and the same as it always has been!! We just saw Nate Bargatze, and it was so much more than I could of ever wished for!!!
Beutiful christmas tree during the happiest season of all ding dong ding dong. Merry christmas tiny tim! The tinyest of all! It has oxygen.
Never been here before. Very artistic interior with molded ceilings.
Went there for my daughter's graduation from Rasmussen College beautiful theater a lot of history in there where's a good place to have a graduation ceremony
The entry way of this theatre is a site to be hold. I'm not sure of the actual history but the lobby of this theatre looks like a beautiful, piece of architecture from the 20's or 30's. The High ceilings and elegant staircases are just beautiful. This is a great place to go if you're into a more intimate concert or show. I would recommend going to check out an event!
A Beautiful Place!! It was a bit cold in there when we went. No big deal. Chicago/Joliet we're used to that.
Best place for weddings! I just got my daughter wedding at the Rialto and came out excelent. All the family got a great time. Ask for Nancy at the Rialto she will help you.
When the Rialto Square Theater can support itself and stop costing the taxpayers of Joliet over $600 thousand dollars a year I'll write a good review . If it can't support itself , close the dump .
I love this place the look the atmosphere. Saw fluffy here was literally the best show I've ever been too.
Jewel of Joliet. Every child and adult needs to experience the magic of the Grand Duchess!
I have always loved going to concerts at the Rialto since a kid. I have seen countless singers here over the years. It is closer and easier to get to than chicago venues. Every seat in the theatre is a decent view. The festival of trees here is very majestical. I always dreamed about my wedding being here and walking down the balcony stairs!
I love looking at the architecture inside the building. I have taken the tours, been on stage, and seen the infamous green room. I have gotten some great pictures. Highly recommend doing a tour if you love the theatre.
This is such a beautiful theater! It is my favorite. It is so ornate and old fashioned. The sound carries beautifully. And there is not a bad seat in the house. The staff is so organized, helpful, and friendly. It makes for a great date night or family event.
A very elegant theatre..when I walked in the high ceilings captured my eyes and the lighting is amazing. As you can see, this is my first time attending an event at this theatre. I was there for a dance recital, which was a great show. While there I spoke to a nice usher at the door about the theatre. Looked at some of their brochures. They even show movies there and offer options for a wedding which was a hahaha moment. Bottom line I give it Five Stars.
It was a wonderful show. Generation Dance Co. Annual Show.
Love old movie palaces. Hated having to pay for parking and long line out of garage.
TUSK, not impressed. Sounded like a train wreck. Not impressed in fact was very disappointing. Warm up band was better than the headliner.
A beautifully maintained theater!!! Love the history and the shows, performers that are scheduled here... EZ parking and less stressful going in and out of the venue compared to downtown Chicago...
Always an awesome year. Ty Rich Blaha for being an awesome friend, and inviting us every year!
Bill Engvall was great, hilarious and would go see a 3rd time
Great place.beautifull inside.clean&friendly employees&accoustics are great.great place to see a band.
The beautiful interior was amazing they don't make building like that anymore.
Great venue we saw the Nelson twins for the show Ricky Nelson remembered and it was an amazing performance of very nice theater very historic
Actually a great place to see a concert.
Considering everyone must stay seated so everyone can see the stage.
That is a major plus!!!
Anyone who does not confirm to those rules will be removed....
Great sound acoustics to hear all the instruments and the vocals of the bands that are playing.
Classic theatrical experience. The Rialto is a gem in old downtown Joliet. I wish they'd renovate more of Joliet to match this theaters quality!
The show was killer, Buddy Guy.. The sound was terrible and the seats were to small also super close together.. "I get it the historical part but a few upgrades to seating for the price of tickets that would be nice"
Beautiful vintage theater, I'm embarrassed that this is my first time to visit the theater.
I don't think that there is a bad seat in the house.
Band was better than I expected . great entertainment
Wow. How is this hiding in the burbs? What a stunning Rapp & Rapp creation.
Architecture, seating views are great, great entertainment!
Rialto is the ultimate space for theater, music or speaking events. Ample area parking, concessions allowed in the theater, and beautiful historic atmosphere come together for a comfortable enjoyable experience.
Beautiful, inviting theatre with great acoustics. Like going to a castle. Don't miss it! Go for any reason.
Enjoy the radio live broadcast of It's a Wonderful Life at the Rialto Theater. Wonderful historic building to see plays or musical acts.
Slice of the past! We went for a concert and they had beverages and snacks, AND allowed us to keep it when seated. The renovations kept us entertained while waiting for the music to start.
Beautiful building and a great experience visiting it
Great place to see a show. The snacks and drinks are reasonably priced for this type of venue.
