Terrible people in shipping! Trucking companies stay away! Refused to load us for no reason and we ended up losing $250 in oversize permits.

Shipping department of this company is something else,it s like they were trying to show who s more rude.

For all trucking companies: DO NOT book a load with this people! We had horrible experience:(.. Deal to haul one of their trailers to MD ,when we got there at 1pm they told us we can't pick up the trailer anymore (obviously they found somebody cheaper) .(rate of 3.5$/mile, no wonder why so high..nobody wanted them).We end up doing 200miles RT ,lost 550$ oversized permits. Stay away!
DO NOT trust them.

Rexcon is a great company and I highly recommend them for all of your Concrete Plants and Equipment from Concrete Batching, Mixing, Paving, and Automation !

My reply is in regards to one left by AA48. I was the broker whom he took the load off of. Rexcon had no part in the booking of the load or dealings with driver and ultimately the refusal to load the driver. I as the broker asked Rexcon to not load the driver after concerns of being run around and not able to get driver on phone. This was a time sensitive shipment and driver was well aware of that and still failed to communicate with me. See detail of my account with driver on day he was supposed to pick up this load for us.

When driver booked this load on 1/21 he understood we have a deadline to
meet in Baltimore for delivery on Tuesday 1/26

When asked of his ETA to he stated between 10am-11am central time for pick
up on 1/22.

About 12:45pm eastern time I reached out to driver and no answer. I tried
again second time few minutes later and he answered and stated he had
trouble starting his truck due to cold. This call to him was made due to him
being 2 hours almost behind for pick up.

At 2:30 eastern time driver still had not arrived to pick up. I texted,
called 4 times and no reply or answer. He finally calls me back.

I ask why he still hasn't arrived. He now tells me he has ran into
traffic. He also states that he stopped to change his battery. So we are on
excuse # 3 at this point.

We asked for a pick up time because of how time sensitive this delivery
is.

I understand things happen but his lack of communication is the reason we
ultimately could not load him with the freight in fear of what would be the
outcome as we got closer to the delivery date. With this being a time
sensitive shipment. We could not take the risk.

Driver then proceeds to tell me why should it matter when he arrives etc.
He wouldn't let me get word in. He said what I am doing is wrong. I asked
him repeatedly why he told me at 12:45pm that he was 20 miles away. He never
answered that question.

I also asked why he didn't call the shipper as he said he would when I
spoke to him the first time and when he stated he was 20 miles out. Still no
answer to that question.

Driver felt it does not matter when he shows up since he makes his own
pick up times and requirements.

My Shipper did not feel comfortable letting this driver haul shipment due to
communication issues prior to even picking the freight up.

I advised driver if he wished for this not to happen he simply could have
called me and kept me informed. Yet I had to hound him and chase him down
only for him to give me more excuses and in turn making me look bad to my
customer and to the supplier.

One of the worst place I've ever been. People working in the shipping department are absolute jerks.

Terrible company... If you have a chance to miss this company don't hesitate to do so...waste money on oversize permit and they didn't load without any reason and at question why they're doing that, I got kicked out of the facility

Obviously this place doesn t deserve even 1 star.i found here the worst shipping guys!!!very rude and a attitude like there is no tomorrow!!
