I can't recommend Revolution Bike & Bean highly enough.
That's all you really need to know. If you are interested in more details, keep reading.
I'm slow to be enthused, and I weigh decisions regarding spending money quite carefully; ergo, I did months of research, bike shopping, and test riding at both local and not-so-local bike shops before finally deciding to make a purchase at Revolution.
Why? Yes, the bike I bought did end up being my favorite (by a long shot). Yes, the employees are all great salespeople. Yes, they are deft mechanics. Ultimately, though, it was their down-to-earth, outrageously kind, anti-snobbery disposition that won me over.
As someone coming into this experience as new to cycling more seriously, I became quickly turned off by the bike shops that touted their elitism (though, to be fair, the majority of shops weren't like this) and peeved by those that were staffed by people who could not answer my questions or make recommendations. By contrast, the team at Revolution seemed thrilled at the prospect of helping a budding fanatic and went to great lengths to get me the best bike possible. They continue to answer any and all questions, no matter how basic, in a relatable manner.
I believe I've said all I can. Truly, this is one of those rare places that makes me wish I had a small fortune to invest, because Revolution Bike & Bean would make the list. Instead, all I can do is continue to give them my business and hope that you who made it to the end of my wordy, stream-of-consciousness review actually do have a small fortune, and will go see it for yourself.
