Fantastic food, and knowledgeable & friendly staff. As expected of a GR restaurant. Would happily return :)

Only hiccup was that the restrooms were slightly cramped and the ladies was poorly lighted.

Been here 6 or 7 times - blown away each time. Consistently the best dining in London; every time I dine here I weep tears of joy. Service from every single member of staff flawless as usual. Mind blowing wine pairings too.

Would give this 4.5 stars but I will round up. Went over a month ago for the tasting menu.

Foie Gras - by far the best dish of the night. Perfectly cooked and the richness of the foie gras was well balanced by the sauce and the sourness of the cherries.

Scallop - Again, perfectly cooked and the sabayon had an amazing texture. Saltiness of bacon compliments the egg.

Cornish Cod - The sear on the cod is sensational, they only cook it on one side and probably finish it in the oven to get a really nice yellow colour. The basil sauce and heirloom tomatoes are a classic flavour combination but if I am being critical, I would say they don't really compliment the cod. The dish was very pretty nevertheless.

Devonshire duck - The duck was perfectly cooked but this dish is too similar to the first one. Wanted to see more imagination and creativity in the 2 main courses. Plums and fennels were also quite boring.

Pre-dessert - quite a bitter palette cleanser

Lemon parfait - great dessert, not too sweet and very well balanced. Again a classic combination of lemon, yoghurt and honey worked well.

Service was perfect, very good manager and friendly waiters.

Exceeded Expectaions, we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, with interesting conversations and joking, we were made to feel right at ease. And of course its goes without saying the food was spectacular with so much flavour in every mouthful, with excellent presentation. It was my husbands birthday and they made the day a very special one.... We had the lunch menu which was Fantatstic value for money, highly recommend for anyone looking for something speacial at a reasonable price.

I have just had a very good meal at the chefs table. Every course superb, the quality of the food magnificent. Wonderful service and attentive and kind waiting staff. Five stars for that. But the experience was ruined by the continuous and abusive yelling of a young chef who thinks that imitating Gordon Ramsey is something that he is going to get marks for. I cannot repeat the language or in any way communicate the utterly disgusting way that man speaks to his staff. It is a shame that he feels a necessity to behave in this way, he obviously was treated like that himself. After all, many children who are hit grow up to hit their children. But in this day and age nobody deserves to be bullied like that. He later came with an obsequious and squirming apology, saying it was a very difficult service today and that all his staff really love him. It was a very poor performance, and of course was complete rubbish, which was confidentially confirmed to me by other members of staff who says this is a daily occurrence. Shame .. it ruined an otherwise excellent meal.

The Chief menu was just wonderful and they are flexible with replacing an item from the main menu. Not cheep but absolutely recommended.

Fantastic! But noting that this was my first proper fine dining experience in London. The presentation and serving of the food was nothing short of exceptional. For my humble opinion; the food was prepared to perfection. Only negatives for me was the shear number of staff cruising around the room seeking to top up water glasses and refold your napkin, unnerving for me but probably and expectation for others.

This place was amazing. The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted and taken to your table. The table we had was set away from main area giving us an added privacy. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. All the staff were so professional yet friendly and attentive. The added extra of being taken to view the kitchen was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend Petrus and a massive thank you to all the staff who made our night special

I could not be have been happier with my dining experience at Petrus. The food was exquisite, as was the service. Our waiter, Vlad, was marvellous in every way. Truly professional and charismatic. We received a tour of the kitchen as well and this was pleasant and interesting. An overall fabulous experience. I would 100% recommend.

Technically faultless food, but somehow falling short on flair.
We went for the tasting menu with wines, but even then nothing really stood out. London's restaurant scene is too competitive to be this dull. Especially when punters are paying hundreds of pounds per head.
I'd recommend visiting every Michelin starred restaurant in London before coming here.

The food was excellent but definitely not Michelin star service. Every course took too long to be served. We were finished our wine by the end of the starters. We paid the bill and long after that we were served the final post desert snacks just as we got up from the table to leave. We had already ordered our taxi because we thought the meal was finished. So we cancelled the taxi, but had no drinks left, not even any water to enjoy the final snacks with. No one seemed to notice or care about this. You would think having one waiting staff for every table and a 400 pound bill for two people would be enough to guarantee good service, but clearly not. We have a better and less expensive experience in other 1 Michelin star restaurants in the UK.

Food was okay but little salty.
It was really crowded and unorganized restaurants. I heard several complains from other table. I thought they were waiting for their desert for more than 30 min. Apparently, their dessert was delivered to my table. ;)
Also, several servers came to us and ask the same questions over and over which was interrupt the conversation with my wife of celebrating our anniversary day.

My wife lives Michelin starred restaurants and the kind of food they serve. Personally I'm not that bothered and would rather eat somewhere informal and relaxed. Often when we do go to these kinds of places I grin and bare it for her. This wasn't the case at Petrus. It was amazing! Absolutely wonderful evening. It's a beautiful stylish contemporary design and layout without being imposing or stuffy. The food was incredible but the staff made it. I wish I had remembered each person's name so I could thank them individually. From the moment we walked in, the people who seated us, brought us menus, wine, served food, cleared... everyone of them was friendly, polite, fun and just made us so comfortable. On top of that... the food! Without hesitation they took into account my wife's lactose intolerance and my dislike of fish. Every course was stunning to look at and delicious to eat. And for the first time I left completely satiated. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I dined here with my parents when I visited London (I'm American) on my 18th birthday and absolutely loved it. The menu was quite creative; the food was both visually stunning and delicious; the waiters were incredibly courteous; the place was beautiful; the wine selection was great. It was, hands down, the very best restaurant I have ever been to, even though it was not necessarily the priciest. I definitely had an unforgettable experience and highly look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Petrus is truly a five star experience. Gordon Ramsay sure knows how to do it right.

I cannot fault a single thing about the experience.

The food was absolute luxury. Tasted amazing and looked superb.

The service was second to none, extremely knowledgeable, not over-bearing or hovering over your shoulder every 2 minutes.
The French wait staff and sommelier certainly bring an extra dash of class.

The setting was stunning.

Just perfect.

It is one of the famous restaurant in london indeed. Fantastic staffs and atmosphere.
Wine cellar at the centre was really something

I had tried testing menu which have 5 courses. Most of food was very good but some. I may expect much nicer food because it is gordon ramsey s and Michelin star.

Giving 3 star (i would love to give 3.5 but 4)for it because of their food as well as their Serving time, it was nonsense for me. I arrived 19:20 and finished almost 23:00.
Fantastic staff for whole time though.

Really lovely restaurant with great service. Only one dish was pretty regular but everything else was delicious and we got a kitchen tour which was quite cute and there's a secret chefs table downstairs. The tomato makeral starter was the highlight followed by the pork belly. The salmon was just ok. Wish I had a little stool for my bag though!

Thank you Petrus for such an amazing birthday dinner! Top-notch service from the moment we walked into the restaurant.

Not only were they able to accommodate my lactose-free dietary requirement, all the courses were absolutely luscious and beautifully presented. My favourite dish was the dessert - Pear with soft meringue and ice cream. Not overly sweet and all ingredients just taste wonderful together! Completely changed my view on meringue, definitely the best I've ever had!

Another plus point for the night was the kitchen tour. So thrilled to see how our meals were prepared. The chefs were amiable and smiley, too!

The night just got better and better as they brought me a little birthday treat and card at the end of the meal. I have to say that both myself and my boyfriend were pleasantly surprised!

Our experience here was impeccable from service, food to the dinning atmosphere. I love the circular wine cellar right in the middle of the restaurant! The interior was elegant, relaxed and spacious enough to maintain some privacy.

I will definitely recommend this to anyone who wish to have a remarkable fine dinning experience - it's the best I've been to!

I am normally not the guy who likes fancy food, I like pizza, burgers and anything that came out of one pot. I came here with the expectation to get pretentious silly half empty plates that might look fun but nothing I would enjoy eating. I could not have been more wrong in that regard. It was a firework of tastes like I have never experienced before and I literally needed a moment after I tested the first dish to believe what was going on and how truly epic it was. And the same held true for all subsequent dishes. This was really worth every penny and I will come back some day. Truly incredible food on a level like I have never experienced before.

Went yesterday (Saturday 5th Jan) for my wife s birthday. We had booked the chefs table which is downstairs in the kitchen. It s an outstanding experience watching these experts at work. A very different dining experience in which you are made to feel like an important part of the whole production! Food wise it was absolutely superb with incredible attention to every little detail. We had the taster menu - 8 courses in total and each one was amazing. I didn t leave anything on my plate! The chefs that made each dish came and explained what it was and how it was cooked and invited questions. All chefs were courteous, polite and very knowledgeable. Customer service was outstanding throughout the evening. We were there for 3.5 hours and the time flew by. Only slight criticism would be that the wine menu had almost too much choice! Overall one of the best restaurants I ve ever been to.

Would rate it as just OKAY..maybe expected a lot from the Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. . We took the Chef tasting menu along with the prestige wines. Wines were not explained properly. Only few decent wines rest were just ordinary wines. Deer meat was not upto the mark and felt was very dry. There was nothing spectacular about the food. Staff didn't even remember who ordered what type of meat. Felt it is more hype and commercial and missed a personal touch. Won't be coming back.

Have to say it was a bit disappointing. I've been to several of Ramsays restaurants, including the original, and this is the first time I've felt ripped off. Food was really good but not great, portions were tiny, and the prices were enormous.

Just to cap it off they gave pretty much every other table a tour of the kitchens, but apparently we just weren't worth it. For all that money I don't expect to come away feeling like a second class citizen.

Gosh, what a treat - Petrus is lovely, the service manages to be incredibly attentive but relaxed and every course (of which we had many!) was a little moment of theatre. We were lucky enough to be seated at the chef's table, which was downstairs in the kitchen - after being introduced to all of the staff, we were seated in a raised booth which looked over all the food preparation. Our waiter was a charming French man with an incredible moustache and the ability to pour tiny pots of sauce onto your plate with a dramatic flourish which gave the impression you were eating a little work of art. Of course it's expensive, but you probably already knew that - so if you're looking for somewhere very special yet refreshingly snob-free, you've found it.

Another of Gorden Ramsey's famous restaurants. This restaurant certainly delivered. Very modern and intimate dining area. Fantastic menus available. We decided on the 3 course a la carte menu. The staff were very attentive and really friendly but not overbearing.
This is a great place for couples or small groups. Highly recommended for a fine dining experience.
