Excellent brasserie, atmosphere, professionalism and simplicity. A must !

Several visits. Good, efficient, beautiful plates. No bad surprises. Never disappointed.

Very friendly staff, lovely food. Two courses with wine came to about 96, the veal and beef were melt in the mouth and the waiter kindly split a mille feuille into two plates as we were too full to have individual deserts.

Nice little cafe. We came in late in the evening and weren't sure if dinner would still be served. It wasn't a problem. Service and food were good.

No nonsense French old style bistro cafe. Serves decent seafood. Fishes are fresh. Ok wine list. I had a bad "belon" oyster which they changed immediately. Portions are good size.

I found with pleasure the Rotonde with its red benches, its team and this Sunday Ouy one of the boys always friendly and efficient. I tried the 10 snack formula, as it was Sunday there was no dessert of the day (offered from Monday to Friday) but I had 3 pancakes with my tea. I highly recommend. Have a good summer to all my readers.

Have tested the menu at 46 which is excellent both in quantity and in quality (even a little too rich, I would have stopped before dessert)
The minced pork foot is succulent.
The delicious pan-fried haddock, although slightly salty ...
The parfait was ... Perfect ...
Small flat on the strawberry, cream really too heavy ...
The service is efficient, brasserie-style, but pleasant and cheerful.
The setting is nice (prefer the back of the room if you want to be calm)

Happened to pick this place for lunch (picked a busy restaurant...it must be good right?) and we enjoyed the meal and beverages. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Until now never knew the history of the restaurant.

As soon as we sat down, our server Margaux didn t hesitate to accommodate us in English for the entire time. She made great recommendations and made us feel very welcomed. The food was fantastic and we highly recommend!

My friend recommended this and told me it's a very traditional brasserie. It's really busy, and the staff just wants to settle you as soon as you walk in. The menu looks good, although not too impressive. I got oyster for starter, and you guess what I found? A worm. I starred at it for 2 minutes, and as a biologist, it's way more than enough to confirm it was a worm. I called the manager because I lost all my appetite and I just wanted to puke. The first thing the manager did was to pick out and destroy the worm and swore to me it was algae. After I told him that I was a biologist and I eat a lot of oysters as well, he started to find excuses for themselves. He never offered any goodwill accommodation or even apologized. I was angry and I just couldn't believe it.

Famous place, I visited it as a special site. Actually not expensive, you can order even just coffee and croissant.

Friendly. A very nice brewery. The impeccable service is very fast. Only downside, my girlfriend who realized not to like the rum baba could not change when he was (really) just started.
The food is good, nothing to say. It's efficient and accurate. But is it worth the price? The dry and cold bread, the bottle of Evian to 10th ...
So yes, if you can afford it, why not? But I think the difference between a 30th and a 48th brewery does not equate to the difference in service and taste.

I regularly return to the rotunda for the Boudeuses de bretagne that I can't find anywhere else. Small, very iodized oysters the way I like them.

Finally reopen! Typical parisian brasserie, staff efficient, nice and knowledgable. I always had good experience there. Highly recommended if you hesitate with its bigger competitor.

My sister and I had lunch at La Rotonde while in Paris recently. We loved it so much, we came back a second time. We would have returned more often if we could have. We really enjoyed the escargots and roasted vegetable salad- the freshness, quality and flavors were awesome. We sat outside in the perfect September weather and there was no smoking, so that was a bonus. Icing on the cake, was, our now most favorite waiter in the world, Totoff. His attention to detail is superb. Totoff was attentive without hovering. He adjusted the sunbrella until we were in the cool shade, he arranged the linen, settings, and dishes egernomically and made it visually pleasing at the same time (we were actually afraid to move anything because we didn t want to offend or hurt Totoff s feelings ), and he made me the perfect iced coffee that wasn t on the menu.
If only Totoff could train others to hold the same high standard in service. Can we import Totoff to the US ? I would give 6 stars, in that case.
We hope to return to Paris and revisit La Rotonde and our Totoff, much sooner than later. Au revoir!
