Used for the stage of the movie Light of Montparnasse .
In the morning, fresh croissants. Escargot and roast beef are also delicious.

Good location, bourgeois enough, prices are in the standards (slightly high, especially in small things is the neighborhood who wants that ...)

a meal in all simplicity but with on the plate the return of the taste of the true without frills or superfluous. The best meat I have ever eaten. Thanks for this moment

The snails didn't taste good and the onion soup had too much cheese. The worst thing is the service. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL. The waiter was not friendly and we were basically Ridiculous. The food is difficult to eat, the service is even worse! Every time I need a waiter, he is not there! I don t know what I am busy, when I order, I waited for too long and called. The waiter at the side table, when he saw other waiters coming over, he ran again. Really not recommended!!!!!!!!

Sensational. Beautiful place and I was very well attended despite being Sunday night and the place is full. The duck in the wine sauce is spectacular. I am very demanding and highly recommend !!!!

Go up and down St. Germain and Montparnasse. La Rotonde is the only fabulous old Paris brasserie that hasn t become degraded. That s understandable Paris is what it is, and restaurants are not museums. I ve been to Paris many times, so maybe now I m a visitor, not a tourist.



Three drinks, an ample iced plateau of excellent seafood, strawberries to remember with fresh Chantilly creme. Eur65. Paris, je t aime.

Very friendly and professional waiters, typical Parisian bistro, sunny terrace at noon, rich menu and good value for money. The desserts are very good. I recommend, especially since the neighborhood is very nice

Steamed vegetables are served with nothing. No sauce, no rice, no side dish. No taste because certainly not quality vegetables .... A shame.
Better not to offer this dish rather than serving something like that.

a tourist trap with good service. Food is expensive for what it is, not originality and the prices are quite high for the value you get. the staff is very (too) attentive and diligent to a point where one almost feels uncomfortable. Yet they are always polite (that's good). They unfortunatelty quite aggressively try to sell you extra drinks or dishes, and the restaurant area is way too crammed to feel comfortable. Walk a few meters away from Bd du Montparnasse (rue Brea, or rue Brea/Bd Raspail) and you will find tons of more authentic, original and less touristy restaurants. Sorry La Rotonde but you will have to do better next time

A very nice place, the atmosphere is friendly and the meal is very very good. The service was fine, a bit of a wait but it was rush hour.

Quietly classic Art Deco gem, classic brasserie menu. I accidentally ordered an entire fish, luckily it was beautifully prepared. Desserts are not as fresh as they could be. Friendly service with indoor clientele leaning towards elegant senior locals.

I love the place and its style, the service is from another time, kind and respectful. The food is good and the wine is better.

Our waiter Kevin made our (my husband, daughter and I) experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. We ordered onion soup and wine. When he brought the wine to the table he literally slammed the pitcher of wine onto our table. Very rude!
