We visited with a local friend who recommended it. Beautiful restaurant, great food and service. I tried everyone's dish and dessert and nothing was disappointing. Things that had especially great flavor: the red curry on the lobster, the sauteed mushrooms with the ribeye, and the chocolate filled brownies were fantastic for dessert.
We had a better memory during our first visit 5 years ago. Here the dishes were simple and even expensive for what it is. Too bad because the setting is really essential
Superb setting, especially during the Christmas period. But service and cuisine at the height of neither the prices nor the pretension of the place. But it is an evil shared by many Brussels restaurants to be pretentious and disappointing.

Not what it used to be - the place is nice, the staff is nice, but the food is not what it used to be. Twice chewy steaks and the seafood has gone downhill too.
Inescapable setting in an old hardware store. They are specialized in fish and seafood. The prices are however quite excessive, we pay dearly the frame. The decor is unique to Bxl and go there at least once is still worth it.
The usual lunchtime menu never disappoints: a plate of magnificent oysters, a very good entrecote with frites, good house wine, affordable price. Slightly more expensive and more contained entrecote than last year, but always worth it!
Food was good, large variety of French cuisine. When in there as a large group during Christmas. I ordered the ham, but had a bite of everyone else's. dessert was delicious. Only thing about the pork was it was under seasoned. The duck was a little salty.
The specialty of this restaurant are the oysters. It is a very sophisticated place. Therefore, the price is salty. But the dishes are well served and very tasty. I suggest you make reservations because it gets very busy. We made the reservation online and gain 20% discount on meals. Worth knowing.
The place is beautiful, the staff at the top, small doubt on the side "canteen crowded and noisy", but still a great time.

The art deco interior is beautiful but the food should be better: the Humus and vol au vent were not tasty plus tables are too small with zero privacy, the price are in high range and service is too long... I guess there is much better place...

A safe bet, this beautiful brasserie bruxelloise offers the best of Belgium, and fresh Crustaceans. The place has a wonderful historic atmosphere. Prices are sometimes on the high end, and service can feel understaffed. But the food is tremendous.

Highly recommend it. The food is tasty, the place is amazingly decorated and the staff is very nice and professional. Order the lemon tart for dessert and I can guarantee that you will not regret it. I will definitely come back when in Brussels again!
