We had a great salesman, but they insisted on continually showing us units that were out of our price range and/ or did not meet our requirements. We kept repeating what we were looking for, but the salesperson just didn't seem to hear. We felt that we wasted a complete morning, and never saw anything close to what we wanted. We did buy from another dealer.

Beware, the day we bought our trailer we signed the papers and when we got home saw they added trailer insurance we didn't ask for. Had to drive back 40 minutes each way to resign papers. Picked up the trailer a couple days later and had electric trailer brakes and sway bar put on. They cut the 7 way cord and replaced it with a cheap one. When we got home the sway bar was put on wrong and tore up the battery box and sway bar ball. Replaced my self.
The awning was separating, brought it in and was ready a month later, picked it up in February and noticed they hit something and cracked the front corner paint, also the replacement awning with a cheaper version and had stains. Also they replaced blue canopy lights with white. Didn't use until spring and noticed the stains were bigger. I found 9 holes in the awning and the gutter spout was hanging. They didn't put rail screws back in or seal it. They refused to replace the awning saying it was over 90 days. Probably got rain water in the walls.
The batteries would drain while driving and inverter shut down, so no refrigerator. Brought it in they kept it a month and said nothing found it was a truck problem. They left the inverter cover off. Ford dealer said all ok with 7 way plug. They insisted nothing else could be done. I checked the batteries and both had dead cells. Picked up batteries and replaced myself, all ok now. The batteries have a 1 year warranty and the trailer had been on the lot probably a year because the top was stained black. Should have been the first thing to check if they were competent. The only people I found competent was Reggie and JT. If you buy a trailer from them, you better be able to troubleshoot yourself. If you notice there is no rate and review on their home page.

This is the best place to buy your camper, RV, or even a truck or car. Great staff and service. Ask for Chrissy as she is a smart, friendly, sweet salesgirl. People from all over the country consider Paw Paw's Campers when in the market for campers, etc. I highly recommend this business.

Terrible place. We bought a camper from this place last year. Brought it in for very minor repairs and after 2 weeks all we got from service dept were excuses and lies. We were also in the process of upgrading so we figured we would give them a shot while they "worked on our camper. " We ended up finding a much better deal somewhere else and were treated rotten after that. We needed to pick up our camper to trade it in and they said(after 3 weeks) that it wasnt ready. We said no problem Dads campers said we could drop it off on trade as is and we could have parts shipped to them. We called paw paws service dept to make them aware we would be picking it up the following day, manager asks where we were trading it in(as if it was his business). Anyway, we picked it up and it had a flat tire. We informed them of this and their response was somebody was using the compressor right now. Itll be about 30 minutes. The inside of the camper was untouched and not worked on at all. Except for them removing the tv antenna and leaving a gaping hole in the roof and ceiling. They did this that morning. Yep! Straight through the roof to outside. Why wouldnt they have left the old one on there? Because it was going to rain!!! Absolute jerks!!! Save your time and money. Go somewhere else! We drove it away with a flat tire and hole in the roof to Dads down the street. They gave us full trade value on our old unit and a great deal on the new one. And took our camper as was and cleaned up paw paws spiteful mess

One star only because I can not leave a zero star review. We purchased a Forest River Wildwood XLite new May 2019. October 21st, We discovered a leak under the tub, and at at every water line connection under the sinks and in the outdoor kitchen. We dropped it off for repair Oct 28, 2019. It was supposedly fixed, ready for pick up Nov 28. As of today, Dec 7, it is still leaking under the tub and now growing mold. We are getting the run around from Pawpaw s Camper City and Forest River Manufacturer as well. Please be careful purchasing here! I know some that have had good experiences, but it has been a nightmare for us!!!

Paw Paws Camper city is the worse dealership to deal with. If you have a trade don't bother, because they don't want them. I had a trade Paw Paws told me had a book value of $32000. They told me to bring in my rv so they can look at it and give me more. This RV is in very good condition. When I arrived they said they don't pay more than 75% of the book value, which they said wad $22000. Obviously they are not good at math either. Had Paw Paw's told me that's what they were prepared to pay, I never would have wasted my time. Stay away. They'll rip you off.

Went window shopping there after hours and all units weren't priced where you could see it. Sent multiple emails via their system and have yet to receive a response. Spoke to a salesman on the phone who was to busy asking me questions to answer Mine and when he did answer it was either vague or in the form of a question. As much as they advertise and with the amount of inventory they have onhand, I would have expected much better customer service.

My parents bought a camper there. They are great at selling a camper. However, the new camper leaked and the AC didn't work. After a week my parents were told to pick it up and everything was repaired. Absolutely nothing had been fixed. Good thing they tried to turn on the AC before they took the camper back home. My mom posted a negative review on their facebook page. She was called by the dealership and threatened. PawPaws said if she posted one more negative thing they would refuse to repair the camper even though it was under warranty. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Horrible service department. I don't have a camper there to get repaired....... I can tell everyone!!!

I would only recommend this dealership if you want to waste your time. The owner and sales manager are rude and condescending. Sales people were ok, but in the end the sales manager ended up wasting my time.

Sorry I can't give a little higher rating but apparently paw paw doesn't need my little amount of money. Sent request Thursday to get info on camper and I immediately got a computer response saying someone would contact me soon but still waiting 3 days later. In addition I drove 200 miles to try and buy the camper because was the we wanted. Got to dealership at 10.30 Saturday morning. Couldn't get any help from sales. Young lady at reception desk gave us the keys to trailer. Just what we wanted. Gave receptionist my name and phone number and told her I would buy it immediately and take it home. No one has called or offered help so going to Dad's to buy camper. I guess paw paw is only after big money.

I'm only giving this place 2 stars, because our salesman was great. However, the service department is dragging this business into the toilet. We truly hate bringing our camper back here for anything to be " fixed ". You don't ever know what to expect from one excuse to another. If you do get something "done" there, you'd BETTER inspect "the fix" yourself before you even hitch it up, or drive it away.

They will rip you off for a bigger paycheck, I went to Dad's Camper Outlet and bought a 25 thousand dollar camper brand new, 10 year loan and pay 225 a month.
Here for a 18 thousand dollar USED camper they wanted me to pay 600 to start with untill they saw I was unhappy then they "lowered" the price to 350 a month for way less of a camper. AND when asked about the intrest rate I NEVER received an answer regarding to what would be.
If you are from panama city fl and affected by hurricane Michael do NOT bother coming to Paws Paws camper and go to DAD'S CAMPER OUTLET they have AMAZING customers service and will not rip you off while you are already struggling from the loss of everything you own , they were helpful with every single question that was being asked, I LOVE Dad's Camper Outlet.

We went in asking for a brake controller and they told us we also needed a weight distribution hitch. We agreed to it and they sold and installed a hitch rated for 10,000 lbs and 1,000 lbs of tongue weight for our Casita which weighs less than 3,000 pounds. If you do business here beware!

Only way to get in and a review was to click a star .Will not give them even 1. Bought a camper in July (used) .ffirst thing when they took it in back to get it ready for delivery, driver backed into something and it took weeks to repair. had no mattress, no ladder, refrigerator freezes everything, now hot water heater has been leaking since October. Warranty will not cover it saying it was like that already. Only cracks in severe cold weather. They will not honor anything! I will not buy anything from them or recommend them to any one!

I actually like the sales people and front desk. It is the service department I have a problem with. They did replace the AC which had a factory warranty. They would not give us a written quote on their $5000.00 repair fees. I Felt like we were being scamed. The extended $3000. warranty we bought there did not cover most of the repairs.
We got a second opinion from Lonnie at Happy Camper repair shop who fixed everything for $500.

Bought a 2017 Wildwood Heritage Glen 29BHHL in May 2017. Price wasn t bad probably for the fact that it had been sitting on the lot so long. So it s now January 24, 2018 and the camper has been in their service dept since December 2017 (after Christmas) I brought it there for a ROOF LEAK, and some minor issues. Well I got a call yesterday and was told they were not covering the ROOF LEAK and that I would have to call Forest River to see if they ll honor the warranty. This camper has been used five times and stays in covered storage. I was told by Forest River that they do not cover factory seals after 90 days. No telling how long those factory seals sat on that lot until I was stuck with them. I was never told that I had to buy sealant and reseal the joints on the roof. I thought the seals would be covered under the roof warranty Terrible service and sales department. All they care about is MAKING A DEAL!!! Go to Dads down the road, really wish I would have bought my second choice camper from Dads Camper Outlet but you can t turn back time. Avoid paw paws camper city, they don t care about customers. Read ALL of the reviews on here before making your decision. I never leave reviews but for this i am. Just fix the roof! Forest River honored the parts and wants paw paws to meet them in the middle with the labor, which they refuse to do!!!! Did I mention that they re horrible?

After viewing several units I decided on one at paw paws. Then the dreaded price negotiations. I was firm on mine and them on theirs, but we eventually met in the middle. I was very impressed on how well the crew took care preparing and teaching me about the unit. I am very satisfied with paw paws. It may be due to an awful experience at campingworld but at least I learned what to look for in an RV,salesman, and after sale experience!

Let me begin by saying that I am helping my father shop for a travel trailer and we have been to several dealers in the southern area. I was profoundly impressed with the knowledge and customer care with the sales manager Michael. He was not only accommodating to us but also to our family dog, by offering him a cup of water while we were touring different trailer units. Best of all, Michael provided ample information and encouraged us to take our time in making a decision. I believe he truly wants his customers to be confident and happy with their purchase.

I spent the day around Paw Paws while getting work done. Everyone was extremely friendly in the most genuine way. When I say everyone I mean every single person I came into contact with in sales, service, parts, the mechanics, etc. Probably 15-20 people total. They all treated my kids and I like family. It s hard to teach that. It s rare. And I ve been around good companies that give good service.

My wife and I went from Florence to Picayune on Saturday to check out a unit that was on sale. After meeting with the salesman we decided I would return today with our current RV and make a deal, at the advertised price. After I drove back today, I was told the Internet price was incorrect and the unit was actually 15K higher than the advertised price. Well, that's one round trip in our motor home, approximately 180 miles. Needless to say, couldn't do business with a company that uses, what appeared to be, the old bait and switch tactic. Thanks a lot, paw paw!

Went into Paw Paw's to buy LED replacements bulbs ...

Went into Paw Paw's to buy LED replacements bulbs for my RV. I brought the old bulb in and showed the man at the parts counter. He said he had a 6 pack of replace LED bulbs. I told him I think I need the Bright white bulbs and he told me he only had the regular white bulbs. I said I would try them and bought the pack at around 80 dollars. I went back to my RV and tried 1 bulb and it was not the kind I wanted. I returned to Paw Paws but the parts section was closed. I had to wait 2 days for them to reopen. When I tried to return the bulbs he told me it was against the law for him to resell the bulbs as new in Mississippi. He said he would take them back but charged me 20% restocking fee. I asked him why he didn't say something when I was buying them and he pointed to 2 signs among 20 other signs saying they charge 20% restocking fee on returned electronics parts.
Bottom line it was my fault for not reading the 100s of ads and paraphernalia on their walls. Say what you will about California, but most businesses there operate with some integrity .
