Tasty beverages, and a different choice than what you'll get at the standard chains. Great atmosphere and the staff have always been super courteous to us.

Communion is such an amazing local spot in Richardson. It is truly a gem. I ve been here for breakfast, brunch, dinner, and we even had our wedding rehearsal dinner here (in 2020). Everyone commented all night on how delicious the food was, how perfect the place was, and how friendly the staff was! I couldn t have asked for a better place for our special night. They even opened up the garage doors and we were in and out playing ping pong, fooseball, and bean bag toss. It was such a fun night! And anytime I ve taken family from out of town somewhere to eat, it s been Communion - the food is ALWAYS great, no matter what you get! People are friendly, and atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!!

Comfortable setup. Plenty of seating with high chairs, bar stools, and couches. I wish the music wasn't as loud. I also hope they can ask some of their customers to respect the environment and not be so loud.

Stopped in for some brunch at my new favorite spot today. My wife and I love this place, especially when we re in the mood for a relaxing date night where we can recharge. It offers the prefect mix of comfort and intimacy, but also has a vibrancy that s present but not the least bit overpowering. I also enjoy doing some work here from time to time and the retractable roll up door offers a charming view to the inside from the out or vice versa provided the weather is right.

Today s choice dish was brunch biscuits and gravy with an egg over easy on top! Not only was it the perfect pallet pleaser, but it came out so quickly I was almost surprised, thinking it might be someone else s. The service is top notch and the staff and management are, to put it simply, wonderful!

Oh, and there s also a coffee shop and dedicated workspace on premise so you ll want to check those out as well. It s a definite must go! Have a blessed day.

The concept is great, the look is cool. The coffee may be the best part because the food is just OK and expensive for what you get. Only been once so may need to revisit.

Full marks! I m a coffee fanatic and am very particular about where I get my coffee. Communion knows their stuff. Novel beans pulled perfectly on a Synesso machine. Peak grinders. All top of the line equipment complimented by top of the line baristas. The icing on top is the friendly service and great space. Job well done Communion, this area needed a third wave shop and you have delivered!

Going on 36 minutes for a single latte.... the people next to me left, despite paying, went to Starbucks across the street, and came back to join their party all before the coffee they ordered was made

First time there. Service is really good, variety of coffee. Great atmosphere. Construction around it made it hard for me to find, but was well worth it when I did.

Just went to The Communion Restaurant on Lockwood. I had the best Eggs Benedict since I moved here in 2008. Great service, very eclectic menu. Came with potatoes and a salad. It was so good. Check it out. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner with a full bar!

Yum to the e! We had the meatballs for an app, blackened red fish, and the burger for the entrees. Everything was delicious! We visited during dinner, but they made a exception and made pancakes for the kids. Danny made us exceptional hand crafted cocktails and the service was top notch! We will definitely be back!!!

Indoor and out door seating, comfortable couches in and outdoor. Love this place. So far only tried breakfast and coffee. Excellent quality ingredients. Able to eat a healthy breakfast here, excellent variety of coffee drinks. Also has a bar/serves cocktails and beer and is open til 10pm Fri/Sat. Also has attached event space/workspace available.

Excellent (specialty) coffee set up and great whisky selection. Beautiful space with a great patio. Kids play area as well as a dedicated co-working space. Full menu (Bfast, Brunch, Lunch & Dinner) Lots of parking.

Exquisite atmosphere, lovely furnishings. The coffee is great, only complaint is our tea being under steeped one time. Which is definitely not what you want at 4.50 a cup.

We only stopped by for drinks and coffee, but the atmosphere was great. It's on our list to go back and try dinner or brunch.

Nice spot in Richardson! -1 star simply due to espresso machine out & staff struggling to put in food order & timeliness of it. Would come back, especially to come chill/work.

Great coffee, delicious food, and very friendly environment.

We got a conference room for an off-site work event. Nice space with indoor or outdoor option. A little putting green in the back too. Cafe was nice, good coffee and had a good sandwich. I didn't get a chance to stick around after 5 but there was a nice selection of whiskey. Ill be back to try some.

Love every detail of this place.... the people, the atmosphere, the food!! When you find a place your kids love and you can eat healthy and yummy you never want to give it up!! Thank you Communion for coming to our hood!

A remarkable coffee and fantastic food menu. The staff is courteous and quick. I d come here for a drink or to work. My only complaint is the noise level, which seems a bit loud for a coffee shop, but I suppose it depends on the patrons.

I've been here multiple times with our young adult community for fellowship nights. Today I was at the coffee shop for a couple of hours to work and headed to the bar for lunch! Great service, great staff and the burger I had was AMAZING!

Coming to Communion is sort of confusing! If you re like me and are looking to get some work done at the coffee shop, you should know most pictures you see online of the spacious work areas are of the co-working space that you have to pay to work inside of. The actual coffee shop is very small. I wouldn t come back here to work. I would if I were just hanging out though.

I had a pour over from the coffee shop and then went to the restaurant for lunch and actually enjoyed my coffee at the restaurant more.

The food was fantastic! Had the protein breakfast and a side of sausage. The spinach was probably the best part of the plate.

The service was also great.

This is one of the coolest places to have coffee, food and to just hang out. They also have one of the best whiskey selections in town!

Hidden gem right here in Richardson! The food, the service, the atmosphere, are all excellent. What a great concept and labor of love. One of my all time favorite spots in the Dallas area!

Finally, a local spot for coffee and good food. Make sure to try the Pub Cheese at lunch time. The coworking space is open, modern and easy to work at. The conference rooms have large TVs to present from a computer. It s very warm and welcoming. A place you d be happy to bring a client to.

5.68$ before tip for a small vanilla latte just felt like too much. Maybe I was overcharged by the barista? I tipped 1$ anyway and liked the atmosphere.

We went for a graduation celebration, this place was so neat. The coffee and food the provided was very good! My daughter loved their chocolate milk. It was a shame their outdoor fans were not working at the time, it was pretty hot outside.

Great place to focus and get work done...and good coffee too. The building is divided into three sections to separate the coffee crowd, restaurant crowd and the co-working space. It s a nice setup that makes it easy to be heads down in work when I need to be and grab a bite or cup of coffee when I need a break.

I have no problem giving Communion 5 stars, simply for it being the *only* non-Sbux coffee shop within walking distance of my parents . THANK YOU for existing.

They don t have matcha lattes which means they are not an up to date modern coffee shop. Coffee lovers only apparently.

Terrible customer service ever since they started trying to be a restaurant. They get annoyed with you when you try and order at the counter and take outside. This is not a coffee shop anymore. It s an elitist invasion into a modest Richardson neighborhood

At last! A high quality coffee shop in Richardson with comfortable seating and work focused accommodations. They have superb coffee, things such as nitro cold brew on tap, and serve great food to boot (try the parmesan egg breakfast sausage biscuit!)

Not a bad place...but I wish they would figure out the line to draw between the coffee shop aspect and cafe. If I just want a cappuccino, I would rather just order at the counter and be left alone rather than have to be "served" at a table. I went today to do some work and was told to grab a menu and sit, so I sat at the bar near the counter so that I wasn't using up an actual table with silverware. I was then not helped at all for 5 minutes, basically nobody would look my way, even though I was literally sitting right next to the espresso machine and counter. Several servers were floating around the area. Eventually I went ahead to try and order at the counter anyway, and the guy who was still behind the counter ignored me some more. Awesome. I packed up my stuff and left to go to the nearest Starbucks. Probably won't be back, because I'm tired of this happening.

They got the cafe thing right! No oat milk though for hot lattes, I recommend that.

Love, love, love this place. Cold brew slush is really great and is made with almond milk. Nice, big patio outside. Meeting place inside.
Only wish the meeting side was open a little longer and that they would not use single-user plastic.

Communion is beautiful. The aesthetic and services are all top notch, but it is quite a bit pricier than other co-working spaces.

Just discovered this place a couple weeks ago and have been back now 4 times. Great place for breakfast and coffee or after work for some drinks. The only food I have tried has been breakfast. It was good. Looking forward to trying lunch or dinner here soon.

I really enjoy this place. I go here frequently, whenever I have the chance to treat myself or just need a minute to decompress. The atmosphere is nice, the coffee is great (with a selection of a local and international brew each week, which is great for me since I like discovering new places). The staff is amazing; they don't take themselves too seriously and seem like a family. Food is also decent, they aren't afraid to experiment. As corny as it sounds, their turkey sandwich off the kids menu is one the best at a cafe I've had, melted American cheese and all.

Haven't experienced the co-working space, so can't comment on it, but looks like a fun place to work.

Quite place to grab a coffee and study when waiting for rush hour to die down.
