The time I spent here was very nice. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the food came out relatively quickly as well. Oh, and it tasted great too! I had the salmon with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and bacon. Although the salmon was good, it wasn't the greatest I've had untill now so I can't give the restaurant a perfect score. Also, we were seated upstairs next to the bar, but because of the width of the tables, the pathway between the tables and the bar is very narrow, which caused a few servers to bump into our table just slightly.
So, aside from a few minor annoyances, I'd still definitely recommend visiting and having some authentic seafood dishes.

Nice fancy appearance, food was also fine, albeit at the price. Service was also good, staff just did not always seem happy.

The food is great, service too. It's not cheap, but the quality is very good. It's very accessible. Toilets are downstairs, but there's an elevator. Everything looks clean and the staff is friendly and service oriented.

Although the food was nice there, the whole experience was terrible. Had to wait 40 minutes for a table (and some other guests too), even though we all had a reservation. Once we finally got a table, then we had to wait for Menus for another 10 or more minutes, and then we only got ONE, since they do not have enough printed (after a while they gave a second menu). Same thing happened when desert time came, and similar delayed things were happening when ordering drinks or food.

Been a few times .... simply the best fish restaurant in South Holland.

Too busy, too loud and screeching (live) music and especially too bad food ... the fish soup contained whole prawns that you had to fish out of the soup and dissect with your hands, even the intestines in it. The juice sprayed in all directions. You don't want to dig into your own soup, do you? The answer was that a cloth was therefore included ...

The catch of the day was leffe cod in a bland cornflour sauce with some vegetables. Tasteless and way overpriced. Price and quality out of proportion. Too bad, the first but certainly the last time.

Well: first be sure to have a table in the inner part of the restaurant. We were sitting on the "summer extension" and the floor was uneven and the sitting uncomfortable. Ask to have a table with proper chairs. Food is fished based and it is regular: not bad not super. Music too loud; it looks like that new generations cannot cope with silence and human speech. They have to dance, always. Avoid the dessert: it is there just to complete the menu; but this is a fish restaurant (even if in the Netherlands you can easily find dozens of better places to eat fish). To conclude: the bill. It was outrageously expensive! but I started suspecting this when I noticed that our waitress was wearing a gold Rolex!

Location very beautiful and nice staff! But the food nothing wow or special, the sushi poor in flavour although quite expensive and the plateau og 50 euro just boiled fish... With langoustine and shrimps weren't clean of its intestine

Because Mark and his henchman De Jonge found it necessary to give the catering industry a final blow, we went to collect our food from Catch tonight. Opted for a Catch Dinner at Home box and a lobster. Delicious eaten at home, was great. Kudos to the Catch team.

Despite the good quality of the food and the friendly service, it is not a restaurant to come back to.
Made a reservation well in advance, whereby more than 20 free times were available at the time of booking.
We made a reservation at 6 pm, which can generally be considered early. We were taken to a kind of conservatory, actually a canopy. Location was next to the stairs to the entrance which caused many disturbing movements of both staff and other guests who often used the back door as entrance (cold wind). Unfortunately, there was no room inside, according to the operation.
Another place in the roof was offered, but it did not offer any improvement.
The tables, which are not very big anyway (approx. 2x A3 format ...) are 20 cm apart. In short, there is absolutely no question of privacy. The conversation of the guests could be followed verbatim. The staff addressed this, who confirmed that there are more complaints about this. You are actually crammed into this space.
Undoubtedly, this results in many paying customers who are never seen again afterwards. A missed opportunity....
Given the prices of the menu, culinary "star level" can be expected with an accompanying ambience and not the space of a snack bar.
Again a pity despite the good quality of the food, where a point of attention is the presentation as well as the quantity resp. some more chips to name something.

Food was not really great, service not friendly and welcoming. Pricey! All in all price quality level not up to par.

At a time when food waste and conscious consumption of animals are so topical, it's outrageous that the portions in this restaurant are so huge that even a big eater has to throw half of their plate away. It is outrageous that the eye is more important than corporate social responsibility. I would NEVER order another seafood dish here, nor recommend it ... Knowing that half will end up in the trash anyway.

This restaurant is clearly made by and for otherworldly fat necks who like to spend their free time destroying our values and standards ... Too bad because it has a lot to offer a restaurant for fish / shellfish lovers and fish lovers / shellfish.

Nice place. Theater menu was a bit disappointing. Fairly simple food and not very on time. To get to the performance we had to skip the (well) paid coffee.

It is not possible to have a glass of water with the coffee. Do you really need this?

Food is tasty, but cheeky staff and if you want something from a different sauce, you can't. Moreover, very noisy.

I'm being generous by giving this place 1 star. Overpriced for such mediocre food, at best. The only thing my wife and I enjoyed were the raw oysters. As a restauranteur, I ask myself how can you venture into a fine-dining restaurant business without knowing how? Our main courses were so bland, the unnecessary combination of so many incompatible ingredients in a single dish were appalling, there were cooks coming in and out of the kitchen who looked like they just finished middle school, there was an absurd amount of waiters for a single place who clearly had no idea what they were doing or how to handle customers (our food was brought to the wrong table, twice).

Fairly formal atmosphere, food is ok but certainly not special. The price is special, it is totally out of proportion with the products, you can really get so much better for your money.

We had dinner on the terrace, which was nice, but the light was broken and we ended up in total dark, we could not see what we had in our plates, we had to use our phones to have some light ! We asked the waiter if he could find a solution but he dais "no, there is no light" and he did not even apologize ! Not even a small "sorry!" !

Picked up food. Packed very neatly and was very tasty again.

Too bad our reservation was not made. Well resolved and delicious eaten. We had sea bass as a catch of the day. Recommended.

Delicious eaten with lunch. Lobster tacos, bisque with ramen and half lobster, toe tarte tatin with caramel and ice cream.

Very good fish restaurant at the harbor in Scheveningen. Hospitable staff who were even willing to get a bottle of wine from the branch down the road.
The medium rare grilled tuna was superb.

Good ambiance, had lunch with a view of the harbor. Delicious fresh sashimi and great sushi. Sufficient wine choice.
Closing with cookie crumble, strawberries and ice cream compartment which was just back on the menu it was said.
Keep him on the map from now on, I would say.

It looks like a luxury restaurant where you can eat tasty and quiet. The food was good, however the service was very slow, it took 10 minutes before we were served at the table. It was very busy and noisy, not a place to dine quietly while giving that expectation.

Good quality seafood, helpful personnel but not all seafood was cooked perfectly

Do not go here! Have to ask for clean cutlery twice. Then a hair in our food. Wasn't believed, issued as mussel hair. Wash 1 hair about 2-3 cm curled over the food. Have to pay full amount, no excuses. Not customer friendly at all! Definitely not worth going here.

In the past we loved this place but in our last visit we were very disapointed by the service. Apparently now they work with 2 evening shifts which is completely fine except that they don't inform you at any moment except when you are already ordering the dessert. The most surprising part was when they asked us to pay the bill and leave but we were the only table that they requested to finish because the new shift was starting (we were also the youngest). Very disapointed I am unsure about coming back to a restaurant where they treat you like that ...

Eaten with (older) in-laws on Christmas Eve at Catch.
Fine food with delicious oysters, among other things. It is only a shame that a conversation was very difficult due to the loud music. Guests next to us also complained about this, but according to the ministry nothing could be done about this, because 'the manager had thought so'.

Really a restaurant for a nice night out. Nice staff and what a choice for, head and desserts. Super will definitely go back.
