The food at catch is fantastic. There is something for everyone on the map; the meat and fish are top! I am a personal fan of the sushi, but other dishes on the menu are also delicious.
The atmosphere at the restaurant is very pleasant. The staff is very professional and friendly. Orders are quickly recorded and the food is served quickly. In addition, it is not difficult to make any changes to a dish (other combinations of sushi, omitting ingredients, etc.)
We have eaten in different group sizes at Catch and in all cases have gone home very satisfied. I recommend Catch to everyone.

Good food, silt tongues a little dry, good wine, and fast and friendly service. Music very loud, people with a hearing aid then have a problem.

Delicious food but if you are with 2 people there is a lack of privacy because the tables are too close together and that is not nice.

Watch out for slippers floors, the dishes were very very Nice and the crab starters were fabulous!!! However the Pata Negra is served like Schinkken for breakfast in Germany. The quality is good but if served like this it detracts from this fine product.

Super tasty food, beautiful location, friendly service!

Had to be patient for 20 minutes before being noticed when it wasn't really busy yet. The oysters were good but not worth the wait. The people in the service had no eye for customers. Nobody looked around to see if anyone wanted to order anything else. Eventually I went to find a waitress to pay and then went to eat at a Turkish restaurant a little further on the harbor. That was a relief and was served immediately.

Nice setting, looks hip, but the food was no surprise

I don't really understand the negative reviews .. Delicious food in a beautiful setting. Wine very affordable, I don't think a bottle of Bernardus for 45 euros is expensive. In addition, they also have house wines that are around 25 euros. We had the sushi combo, fruits du mer and fried shrimp and each tasted fantastic.

Very busy, totally packed on a Saturday evening. Very slow service without accommodating waiters. The music turns up loud after 21.00 making it very hard to listen to anyone, let alone enjoy the food. Simonis is all about good fish food - but the environment matters the most. It is very pricy without offering anything more than the other restaurants. We are definitely not coming back to your restaurant. Thankfully Simonis has more locations not far away from that one.

B and C choice fish at A price. Old stuff, old fish, fat and unhealthy.

The food was good, but service was lackluster (which, we were told by residents here, is typical in Holland). It's right on the beach so we had a great view of the Kite Festival today.

Top restaurant, whatever you ordered it is delicious. Not cheap but well worth it in terms of quality and you also get good portions. Service is good, nice atmosphere and beautiful fresh products.

Friendly and good service. The food was very tasty. The dessert, on the other hand, could have been better. The chocolate really tasted less. Nevertheless, great restaurant with good food!

Food, drink and service were excellent. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is that they indicate via a blatant sign that covered parking opposite is for their customers, but they do not cover this charge. We had to pay 5 for the privilege!!!

As far as I have experienced, this is absolutely the best seafood restaurant in the Netherlands.

Fantastic restaurant in the harbor of Scheveningen. Considering fish but also for meat lovers there is a modest choice. Service was excellent, service very friendly, food was fantastic. Because it was very busy it is very noisy ..... but the quality, atmosphere, experience ..... top!

Great food but very inconsistent service. Sometimes it's good, sometimes they let you get rained on until you beg for a new table and then they make you wait some more.

On a positive note, the staff was friendly. However, the ambiance was not very nice. It was a crowded room, and although some tables were empty, it still felt quite claustrophobic.

The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the ribeye and my partner had the warme fruits de mer. The steak was thin, tough, and extremely salty. Our calamari was also way oversalted. The seafood was good but overpriced, with only 1 crab leg in the whole dish.

Overall we wouldn't return.

Tonight with my girlfriend being food at Catch by Simonis. Good location, parking garage right outside the door and a beautiful interior. Superb restaurant. Had high expectations, we have come specially from Amsterdam to Scheveningen for this restaurant. I had reserved well in advance at 6:00 PM. We were half an hour early, but this was not a problem. We were received nicely and escorted to our table above. It was not too busy yet. Nice spot with a view of the harbor. The service was very attentive and the food tasted delicious. Although the risotto that I ordered as a main course was disappointing. The risotto rice was dry and not completely cooked. The taste was good. When I reported this to the ministry, they have been accommodating and have nicely compensated for this with the dessert. Price / quality ratio is not entirely in my opinion. At The Seafood Bar in Amsterdam you can have just as good food, more choice and a better price / quality ratio. Maybe we'll come back here one more time when we're in the neighborhood, but not at all. All in all: generally great food, good service, not much choice of fresh fish and too high prices for what you get.

The food was very good! Great taste and high quality fish. The service wasn't that wow though. It seemed like all waiting staff was picked on a strict look and they hardly smiled and didn't feel sincere. But other than that, great experience
