The 10 courses meal was absolutely perfect, with an excellent service!

Perfection ! Deserve to recover their 3 * in the emergency Michelin guide !!! We have a fabulous evening in this exceptional place. The welcome on arrival, the service during the meal until the end of the dinner were just as discreet as the little care. The magical setting with the garden on the banks of the Ill and the decoration of the restaurant are worth the detour. The food is ecstasy, we took a menu and we let ourselves be guided by the sommelier for the agreement puts wine with each dish and we did well. The wines were in perfect agreement and we made some nice discoveries of unknown vineyards. The dishes tell a story, make you dream on arrival at the table by the visual and perfumes. When it's time for them to go we want one thing only to come back. Thank you to all the team at the Auberge d'Ill for their hospitality and incredible work!

We visited this 3 Michelin star restaurant for lunch during a long weekend in Alsace. The location is charming situated by a small river. We decided upon the tasting menu and were not disappointed. One of the (many) highlights was the lamb filet which was absolutely delicious. As one would expect the cheese trolley featured a wide array of great cheeses and it is nice to see a menu where that course is not a supplement as happens too often. The pace if the meal was just right and the service was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended.

There is no better place to celebrate my birthday
We made reservation for a Saturday lunch to celebrate my birthday.
We drove trough the Alsatian Wine Route arriving just in time.
We were seated next to a window overlooking the Ill river.
We started with an aperitif and the amuse-bouche. The sommelier recommended a terrific wine to go with the main course.

In the end to celebrate my birthday we were given a small birthday cake.
We have been coming to this restaurant for the last 30 years, usually for Sunday lunch. It never disappointed us.
Everything was just perfect. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was impeccable.

Great, like the other times. A lot of refinement, succulent dishes. I do not understand that this establishment has lost its 3rd star. Congratulations for the impeccable service and very friendly.

What else to say that it was just perfect, the welcome and refinement are at the rendezvous. The service to the small care is just impeccable, the dishes are sublimated by the chef, bursts of flavor, everything corresponds to the standing of the establishment. It was just perfect we will come back with immense pleasure undisguised. Thank you all for this wonderful moment.

We had the chance to visit the Haeberlin-Baumann family establishment. The cuisine is up to the establishment, that is to say exceptional. Three stars for three generations ... A great moment!

I do not even know how this gourmet restaurant does not have its 5 stars in Google comment so this place is the definition of luxury, generosity and perfection of service. I recommend endlessly. Take the time to read the history of this family on their website, you will recognize them all during your visit!

It was a long time since we wanted to have lunch or dinner at the Auberge de l'Il and we chose to go there a few days ago to have dinner on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. We had the best table there. The staff, very professional, was "pampered" for us. Everything we chose, starters, main courses, desserts was remarkably prepared, perfect cooking and very nice presentation without the modernist and minimalist fuss. Delicious! The frame is to match. We keep an impression and tomorrow a memory, dazzled. A wonderful evening.

A breakfast was offered to us. Good homemade products, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, but a little disappointed by the content. It remains a classic hotel breakfast, unsurprisingly.

We had a great time at the Auberge de l'Ill to celebrate our wedding.
We were 18 around a beautiful table in an intimate space.
Everything was perfect from the aperitif outside to admire the beautiful garden that extends to the hotel des Berges until dessert.
Impeccable service, very friendly everyone was the little care, the dishes were all very surprising and excellent.

Everything is done to make you feel good.
The menu was even higher than we expected. Thank you to the family and the staff at the top smiling and very professional except for a chef de rang lacking a little finesse in these words when paying the bill. One regret not having seen the Chef at the end of the meal! But this is in detail in relation to the pleasure we had.

When you are in the Alsace and you like good food, you should definitely not pass up this *** restaurant.
This year (2017) they celebrate their 50th year with 3 stars and that is saying something!
The plates are nicely laid out, but certainly not paintings as you would expect at such a restaurant. It is also not difficult with 20 different flavors on 1 plate that should then cause the so-called flavor explosion. Am I okay here?

After tasting my starter I suddenly understood why this restaurant has been deserving of their stars for so long .. everything is about taste here!
For example, I only got 3 large slices of Foie gras with a little bit of mouse of port as a starter, no bells and whistles, but the taste ... incredibly tasty just like the rest that followed.

This is where I will go to if I have one last meal on earth. The experience is simply heavenly. Well deserved to maintain 3 Michelin stars for 50 years.
