This hotel is absolutely outstanding!! Our stay was only for one night but everything was perfect: from the welcome, to the nice fruit basket in the room, the cleanliness, the tasteful decor and last but not least the excellent breakfast buffet and wonderful view as well as the very helpful staff, I would recommend this hotel to anybody!

Very nice hotel, which offers a lot of rest, but is also suitable for small children. Free parking and a nice SPA / fitness fit well. The rooms are ok, but a few little things are missing for a 5-star hotel. The team is very nice. Breakfast is ok, but not great - more choice and more than one person in the service would be desirable. Still, we'll be back.
The Colina d'oro Hotel and Spa was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We spent two magical nights with some breath taking views from inside our deluxe suite. Very well organised and the personal are so friendly and very helpful. We completely enjoyed every second in this hotel. Breakfast was a very satisfying. Dinner was great. Free parking and Spa with a heated pool are great plus. We will be back one day.
Simply amazing. It is placed 15 minutes by car from Lugano. It's quite excluded so peace and quiteness is a big advantage.

Wonderful resort that's a bit out of the way for a peaceful getaway. It's tranquil with a wonderful view over the valley. Staff is very professional and courteous.
Comfortable room that's been decorated with attention to detail. Modern amenities in the room, so you could even take an HDMI cable to play something on TV. WiFi is open (without a portal) and fast.
Restaurant is wonderful, make a reservation to enjoy the serene terrace.
During Covid-19 there was a shortage of sunbeds, so as long as distancing rules are in place you may want to snag one early.

This resort / hotel is great. Starting at the reception - very warm and nice welcome, luggage is brought to the room and car parked. The junior suite is very spacious and nicely decorated. It lacks nothing, it was simply thought of everything. Absolutely clean. Even the dog was thought. A pad, a bowl, a blanket and dog pouches were ready. For us were free fruit and water ready.
The only thing to complain about is that certain things have to be paid on the breakfast menu.
But we would definitely go back and recommend it.

Quite simply - a dream.
The whole resort is tastefully and elegantly furnished and designed, right down to the last detail - the location high above Lake Lugano is a dream.
From the reception to the excellent rooms to the spa and the restaurant - breakfast is also very fine without any nosyness or exaggerated chi chi. As a matter of course, when we checked out, reception offered us a few bottles of water for the trip.

It's a beautifully located resort with fantastic views and great service. I loved the rooms, restaurant, indoor and outdoor pool and the saunas. The location of the hotel is excellent - it's a short distance from Lugano but at the same time in a tranquil place on top of a hill overlooking nearby valleys. I recommend it especially for couples for a romantic stay.
Great location in a pittoresque landscape, the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive and they show honest delight that the hotel was able to reopen after the COVID-19 crisis. The health precaution measures laid out by the government are being applied in a strict but not disruptive manner.
The rooms feature a modern furnishing, with high quality appliances and pay tribute to the local architecture. Perfect for a weekend away or a week of holidays in an amalgamation of mediterranean climate and Swiss precision. We will definitely come back not too far in the future!

I asked for some rental bikes, and all was organized so smoothly. This is not a standard service from the hotel. The more it s great to see when staff think out of the box and exceeds standard service making our stay exceptional.

Status hotel, in a quiet picturesque place far from the roads. Everything is there to temporarily get away from the hustle and bustle and fully immerse into a carefree life. Friendly staff and excellent cuisine.
I m lucky enough to have stayed in many fine hotels and this is one special. The staff genuinely want to please, so laid back and quiet, just what you d expect and more from a five star hotel and spa experience. You can even buy a bottle of their own home grown wine from the estate!

Positives: Best buffet breakfast I have ever had, hard to beat location for nature lovers, completely silent rooms, great outdoor and indoor pools + sauna. We had a fantastic mastermind retreat. Will repeat.
Negatives: not a good place for lunch and dinner for vegetarians: only salad and pasta. Rooms could be bigger, recreational airplanes flying continuously take away from the experience around the outdoor pool.
Lovely hotel, maybe not 5 stars though. Pool not heated, no beach chairs outside, no bar, no activities offered (like yoga etc). Fantastic restaurants and great stuff!

Nice hotel, good restaurant, great garden. Moderate view and the pool chairs are mixed and partly broken ... Absolute no go for a 5 star hotel. Basically a very nice hotel with room for improvement. Service in the restaurant is excellent. Check in worked with a 40 minute delay and we were only offered a drink after clear inquiries., 5 star service looks a little bit different nonetheless, we would come back all in all. Ps: unfortunately we did not receive any information about breakfast and therefore managed 3 days without breakfast (although paid). There was no accommodating ... I'm looking forward to a possible reaction

Very nice, very clean, very friendly. But different prices from day to day, we wanted to extend, on the day the night cost twice as much.
Yes with children. The standard rooms are small and do not have the beautiful view even if it is light green. There are suites that obviously cost more and have the view. I would say a little too expensive. It claims to be a nice and simple place but the cost does not fit. Although their huge beautiful garden does not have the price, paradise. Biblical silence. Good food and breakfast too. Parchetto games. The slippery pool.
