Great lunch place for people working at one north, but grab your seats early around 11:30am to avoid the insane crowd.

Gubak Kia is a real disappointment. For the price point and the morsel that s you get, you are better off eating elsewhere.

This shop had a head start from inheriting his father s receipt for beef soup which is great. There is nothing special otherwise.

Has live band and there's a favorite stall Urban smokeshack, that serves the best smoked meat and rosti.

Hawker looking place on the outside, but once you go in, it gives a different vibe. Some stalls are in a van and some are just the usual stalls. Sells western to eastern dishes. Good place to chill, has a place that sells bottled beers, wines and ciders. Live band at night I think.

Variety of food to choose from, quite crowded during lunch, hot for the weather, will have live band performances during certain days and time, have to check out when..

Go there in the evenings, and the already awesome place lights up with live music!

Had the wanton mee at timbre+ for 4 dollars and it tasted quite nice, wantons and char siew and veg was of a certain standard. Got pleasantly surprised that I got 1 dollar for returning my tray so my meal was only 3 dollars! Affordable! :)

Great vibe . Easy in and out for lunch . Could do with a few more veggie options but all round a convenient stop for a speedy lunch

Awesome place for lunch. Huge food selection from all over Asia and western food. Prices are very reasonable. The place gets very crowded at noon. Be early or go late for lunch :)

Serves a selection of interesting food. Lined with (immobile) food trucks, the dining concept does have a twist. Timbre is famous for their live band music at night, and in Timbre fashion, Timbre+ (this location) has it as well.

My usual lunch spot. The dry ban mian stall is a hidden gem. Paying 1 dollar extra for a tray is an innovative way to stop people from leaving their trays on the table when they leave. *1 dollar is refunded when you've returned your tray of course

Fabulous food and maybe even slightly atas, at competitive prices. Great effort to bring big names and exotic cuisine alike to the masses.

The most talked about place in One North area. Great selection of food and beers to chill out after a busy day. Especially love the Har Cheong Gai wings there. Most outlets only accept cash.

Honestly, the area can be divided into 2 - the slums and the rich.
It is a outdoor food court concept with live bands at wed-sat night.

The slum (aka cheap hawker food) operates during the day time while the rich operates throughout the day.

The slum caters mostly to the working crowd in the area with cheap food while the rich caters to those who wants to have live music and a place to chill at night.

An upmarket hawker centre with live music every night. The food is a little on the expensive side but offers many types of cuisine. Never turn your back on your half empty tray, or you're giving to lose it!

Big place, quiet during lunch on a sunday. Most stalls are closed. Food was above average for the taiwanese and iskina cebu. $1 for tray deposit.

Good selection of food. Nice atmosphere. Live band in the evenings but the music can get uncomfortably loud sometimes. Makes it difficult to talk. Beers are ridiculously expensive.

1st time visit - lunch hour. Nice ambient, well ventilated, rather packed with office patrons. The braised pork was alright, will be better if it is served piping hot not just warm. Bundled with drink at $6.80 - reasonable. Lots of food and drink stores , will visit the place again.

Lovely spot to dine with friends. Variety of food to pick from, live music every night from Mon - Sat. Large variety of craft beers as well, and the Two wings wings and salted egg chicken sandwich(from the world is flat) are aweeeesome!

There's a great food selection here. From the normal cheaper ones to the more expensive ones all under one roof. The tray returning system is refreshing to see too.

Great buzz in the heartlands if Singapore's startups! Many options of affordable a cuisines by day (and night), and moderately priced beer and a live band in the evening - what more could you ask for! Give it a go :)

Great value for money food can be found here, with a lot of different styles offered by the various stalls.

V expensive foodcourt. Min $8 for finger food. A meal starts at $10-12. Only in the day time there are normal hawker stall food at cheaper price, but not nice. At night, all the food are more towards fried food, burger and western. Nothing really nice for that kind of price actually.

The atmosphere is great for live bands that play here. Family friendly.

Cosy and hip place. Hip decoration. Lots of nice food and live music on Saturday. Make sure you are on time for the last MRT if you're using public transportation.

i've been there only on weekday's and weekend evening but never tried during lunch time.
all the food there are quite ok.. the beer there attracts me more

Basically like a new age hawker centre with stalls selling your typical hawker food. There are bars and restaurants as well with prices ranging about >$10

You can get a while variety of food at a range of affordable prices. Love the tom yam fried rice + chicken thigh. Spicy, crispy and easy to eat.

So quiet on a Sunday afternoon, only the tzechar, bottle shop, big Bern 's, and 2 wings are open. It's nice to have the whole place to yourself.

If only they have air con. But great food and ambience nonetheless.

Standard Hawker stalls mixed with other unique ones. Loadsof variety. Never seem to get sick of the food yet.

Full of energy, good food and good live band. A nightout with family and all.

People will thought that the word Timbre is just a bar like the ones they have at raffles but its not, its a coffee shop during the day and a drinking place at night. A great place indeed.

Very relaxed atmosphere where you can have some light local food or western and even other culture food, similar to hawker centre style, enjoy a good beer from a wide selection and chillax to live band music there.
Most yuppies hang around after work because the location has many startups.
One thing to note is that your food is inclusive of a $1 deposit for the tray which you need to return on your own if you want your money back. It is so that you will be responsible in clearing your own plates after meals.

(July 2017) Only 2 halal food options, of which 1 was closed by 1+pm on a weekday as soon as they were sold out. Notorious long queues for these 2 at lunchtime. Numerous & interesting non-halal options & concepts made the TWO halal options simply pathetic.

Live band with different groups performing which make the environment lively and fun. Food is slightly high price and each stall has unique style of presentation. A place to chill for dinner and enjoy the live band music.
