I like this place. It's got a great selection of food and some of my favorite stalls are here - Big Bern's, Iskina Cebu, Roxy laksa. Great selection of beers too. It's not just a regular food court and you'll be frustrated if you expect standard (?) Food Court prices. It's a tad above that. Yet it's hot and Crowded at lunchtime. I'd recommend heading there in the evenings.

Very cool environment with a new return tray system in place! Basically the stall will charge you an extra dollar for the tray. Once you finish your food and return the tray, you get your money back.

Its a nice concept - food court by the day party by the night. The music was great, the band was really lively on the friday night that I went there. They have live music every night and its close to NUS! Also they have a selection of beers thats pretty neat considering we are in Singapore. But hey, things are changing. Will definitely head back!

Great place for either your usual hawker fare or restaurant style dishes. Live music too. What's unique is the tray rental system, which charges an extra dollar to be returned when your clear your own table and return your own tray.

Timbre+

Timbre+ (Timbre Plus) has transformed the old Ayer Rajah hawker centre into a gastropark. Graffiti and spray paint art are splashed all over shipping containers and vintage Airstream travel trailers that have been transformed into food trucks. Timbre+ is home to 21 hawker stalls that usually close around 6pm, and 15 restaurant brands that serve you till late. Some recommended stalls are Wong Kee Wanton Noodles, Fishball Story, Nora Nasi Padang and Roxy Laksa. The atmosphere here is great and there s live music every night after 7.30pm.

A very good verify of grilled food including chicken, beef, pork. They have this $5 sets which are really worth. The rice is fried with some vegetables which makes it not so common. This is a must try place if you are around one north area.

Really nice place with wonderful music show and delicious food. I like the chicken wings so much. But over half of restaurants are closed, so actually no much choice. BTW here is world cup living, though screen quality is a disaster.

Cool hipster hawker center with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Nice open bar concept in the center with several beer options. Dinner tends to be on the pricier side. Good lunch stalls include Wong Kee Wanton Noodles, The World is Flat (by Tanuki Raw), and Wang Jiao Ban Mian. Now that Nam Nam Go (vietnamese) just opened up, this place just got that much more attractive.

When I went (5:30pm on a Thursday) there was no live music and no atmosphere (place was empty), but I can see the appeal.
I was disappointed with the lack of vegetarian options, but settled for a vegetarian bowl at Myra's, which was 5/5 for freshness, taste and value.
This would probably be a good place to come for food & a few beers when the live band is playing.

Went on a Sunday and was initially very disappointed that there were only a few stalls open. Ended up trying XLX Tze Char and it was very good! Two of us ordered four dishes without rice and barely was able to finish it all, only for $43 (supposed to be $48 but with the app, it was 10% off). Also, love the return of tray concept (you get a dollar back)
