We had a hassle free purchase of the property and the agent has coordinated well with the seller. When we requested for re-inspection of property couple of times, they arranged it quickly. They acted unbiased and we are happy with the purchase. We will definitely recommend them and will use their services in the future.

As a tenant, Rendina's communication and timeliness has been very frustrating and disappointing. I have had to contact the landlord directly for issues after more than 6 weeks of trying to talk to someone at Rendina. I understand COVID has disrupted business, however it shouldn't stop basic communication between agents and tenants.

I purchased a property through Rendina, which was leased and managed by Rendina. I agreed the tenant could stay to the end of their lease, (6 weeks after settlement) after which I would move in. After my offer was accepted it was agreed Rendina would continue to manage the property. That is where the problem started. The 6 weeks rent owed to me, was paid to the previous owner by the property management team! I was making daily phone calls to Rendina, to try and get some action to fix the matter. They blamed others, ie the vendor the conveyancers. But Rendina collects and distributes the rent, so it is clearly their fault!! The response I received from James and Tena was unprofessional, dishonest, arrogant and dismissive. Very frustrating to deal with. Useless and incompetent! It wasn't until after I engaged my solicitor that I got the problem solved, some 6 weeks later. And Rendina still took their full commission...
Lou did a great job on the auction! Norris made the whole sale process reasonably painless . His professional approach, punctuality and the way he always provided feedback after each opening were a winning combination.

The whole experience of renting from Rendina was outstanding. From the first phone call Silvana and James made me feel like I was an incredibly important customer. It was really refreshing considering Im sure they have 100's of rentals, but there response times, action times around inspecting the apartment and getting forms off to me to sign and most importantly, how quickly the apartment was rented was just brilliant. Can not recommend Rendina and both Silvana and James highly enough.
Moved into a flat after inspection, with no power and my partner accepted it.
When we moved in and there was power you could see that the flat had not been cleaned prior to our moving in and it took 5 hours to get it to a 'basic livable state'
The carpets were dirty and almost threadbare in places, the walls scuffed and highly marked, the oven only works on two settings: off or high and the hotplates are variable in operation.
Not all is negative, they were able to have the reverse cycle A/C fixed, a leak from the shower into the kitchen and one of the rooms repainted.
Now 2 years later as we are moving out they want the threadbare carpet cleaned, really needs replacing, we had to put a mat over the worst part and in the past 6 months odd stains have come to the fore after we did a 'quick carpet clean' .
ADDIT: The carpet they had us have professionally cleaned at $120 has been pulled up and replaced, as it was in a disgusting, threadbare state as it was when we first moved into the unit.
So overall no good things to say about the Agent. The unit definitely needs updating as many of the other flats in the block ave been doing since we have moved there.

Robin is reliable, courtous and harbours extensive knowledge of his responsibilities and the RTA. I have a high level of trust and faith in him and firmly believe that his outstanding efforts need to be recognised. His abilities have made my life much easier and I cannot understate this.
Excellent, responsive and attentive agent! I bought my first home through Nathan and was very impressed with his service. I think first home buyers can be very picky and tend to have a million questions. However, Nathan showed me patiently through all the on and off market properties that he had on offer and took the time to guide me through the process until I found something just right for me. If it weren't for him I probably would have spent another 12 months looking because most other agents had put me in the "time-waster" basket even though I was seriously looking to buy. Commercial tenants. Redina manage a couple of asian restaurants in Flinders Street building. They are overrun with cockroaches which Redina will not bother to get the tenants to rectify. Disgraceful of all parties: Restaurants/Management/Owners.
Absolutely awful experience applying for a rental with Rendina. They declined my application as soon as they found out I planned to live in the premises with my same-sex partner!! I cannot believe such discrimination still exists in this day and age. I have an excellent tenancy history and both my partner and I are high income earners. We will be complaining to anti-discrimination authorities!!!

As someone in my mid-30s I have rented many a property throughout my life, both in Melbourne and in London. I can say unequivocally that Cassandra at Rendina is the most efficient rentals agent I've ever dealt with. Any issue raised is addressed straight away without any fuss and as tenants we've never been made to feel like we can't bring something to her attention, even if it isn't urgent. Also the house we're renting is lovely! The best real estate agent experience I've ever had.

We rented an apartment through Rendina in the City and stayed for five tears, we left in January, Wayne the property manager accused us of pulling the cable out of the wall when I had clearly sent them an email before I left saying it was accidental n not to bother about fixing until we moved out. He was clearly the most rudest property manager I ve ever dealt with. They also gave my contact details to some handy man and he called me after 1 month of moving out of that apartment. I found that complete breach of privacy and that is not acceptable at all. All in all very unprofessional and rude. Please think twice before you rent through these guys.
My property manager, Andrea, was fantastic. I only dealt with her at the end of my lease, as my original property manager had resigned. Andrea was very friendly, considerate and always responded quickly to my emails to make sure everything went smoothly for me. She is an asset to the team.

This is our very first rental property....and we got done over.....
No rental receipts, no repairs were carried out until we stopped paying rent and took them to VCAT 5 months later!! They wont let us out of the lease by agreement because they know they will never get tenants in there, lying to VCAT members & CAV, union cant do anything, lawyers are expensive, they never put anything in writing, they treat us like scum of the earth. We pay average rent for a well below average property. Landlord doesn't do anything, Real Estate Agent takes landlords side.
We cannot wait to leave this place - we are stuck here until the end of our lease in a mouldy, smelly, structurally unsound and insecure house, paying ridiculous rent without getting receipts. Consumer Affairs did nothing. Stuff the System!

The most awful experience with a property Manager we have ever dealt with - I will say we had a great Property Manager with Rendina until the time they assigned us to Wayne Suriawinata who was absolutely unprofessional and poor in communication throughout the remainder of our tenancy and lease transfer. Wayne never returned calls, would not agree to face to face meetings, was always delayed in sending paperbark, he even arranged the landlords to inspect our property on the incorrect date, sent us miss-information and would not reply to emails. It got to the point where we had to escalate our issues to the Rendina Rental Team Leader to get any traction... at which point he had the audacity to call and accuse us of lying to his manager!! Unbelievable, never experienced anything like it and would recommended avoiding this Real Estate company if your dealing with Wayne.
Nathan provided an excellent service - great knowledge of our locality, having sold other comparable properties; approachable; prompt in responding to our queries with always helpful answers; considerate of our situation and the inconvenience of "Open For Inspections"; keeping us updated on buyer interest in an honest way that was reassuring and finally, helping us realise a higher than anticipated price for our apartment. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I am not one for reviews much, however running my own business I do rely on them, I needed to unfortunately given them a very low star. Worst experience I have ever had dealing with a rental. Coming from someone that has a few rentals my own, I would NEVER use them as my rental manager. The vacate process was horrible, they didn't notify the landlord until after two weeks of giving notice, they tried to hold onto my bond for general wear and tear marks. I had 3 property managers change hands, notes were not on the system about the amended rental agreement date from when I move in and they tried to say was behind in rent, to then have them later apologise. Amy the the property manage was rude on every occasion that I spoke with her. Overall a really bad experience.
We provide a welcome gift for our tenants and always make them feel like they're listened to. We (of course) deal instantly with any works or issues that arise from our tenants. They live in one of our homes and we want our tenants to have a positive experience.
Rendina is currently working on improving their communication. I look forward to seeing how things change. Glad they can apologise and work to improve.

I ve been renting with Rendina for a number of years now and have always been satisfied with their service, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They have been kind and understanding to the situation and very quick with their correspondence between my landlord and I. It s service I ve never experienced with previous real estate agents and I m very appreciative to be renting through them.
Unfortunately I have absolutely nothing positive to say about our time renting with Rendina. As responsible and dutiful tenants we received no respect and communication was terrible.
No power was connected to the property when we inspected it so it wasn't until we moved in that the true state of the place was revealed. Stained carpets, severely marked walls, blood on surfaces. To my mind it was definitely not left in a 'reasonably clean' condition. When issues arose throughout the tenancy - a leaking cable under the sink, a broken tap, severe mould (which couldn't be fixed with ventilation and regular cleaning) we notified Rendina immediately and on each occasion had to chase multiple times before we gained any response from the property manager. Finally when vacating the property, after dutifully paying our full rent on time each month (throughout the COVID-19 pandemic), spending 4 hours cleaning the property and getting the carpet steam cleaned, we were asked to justify why there were stains on the carpet, holes in the walls and why it was not left in a 'reasonably clean condition'. After fighting these accusations and instructing the Property Manager to look at the original condition report (something which should have been done without our suggestion) and providing photos as evidence, our bond was finally released. My advice would be to look elsewhere for a rental property!
Was very concerned about being able to rent out a property in todays current situation but not only did Rendina Real Estate find a tenant they did it in the first week of it being advertised!!!, absolutely blow away and thankful for the dedication and support from their team, especially Elena Psaila whom was with us every step of the way, I cannot thank you enough. I have been with Rendina for approx three years now, having my property managed by ROBIN SALH. Robin has been managing my properties before he joined your company. I moved the property management to your company, from my previous estate managers simply because Robin was moving to your agency. This was for a few reasons.
Robin has proved to be an utterly dependable, hardworking, ethical and innovative property manager. My husband and I travel extensively during the year, and we have never had to worry about any tenant issues that have cropped up while we have been away. Robin has always been in touch with us,giving us updates, and information about matters that needed our attention, and often attending to, and solving them, while we have been away. For us, this has been invaluable, and we have appreciated it greatly.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone that was looking for an agent that was completely trustworthy and always very pleasant and helpful.

Not to mention they lost our condition report and when we confronted them about it, they literally asked for a proof of us submitting it,. Exceptional communication and quick responsiveness at Rendina, Particularly by James! Both applying and transitioning to a new home is often quite stressful- however James and the team have been very helpful with a addressing all arising matters in an incredibly timely manner (which is very refreshing in comparison to 3 weeks+ response times in the past!). Terrible agents! Rented a house through these guys and it was the most difficult year. Repairs were never dealt with, communication from our agent was terrible, very unsympathetic and didn t follow legal requirements. Will do whatever they can to benefit themselves with no cares as to what happens to you.
Do not lease through Rendina. Despite being given the same warning, I was naive enough to rent a property through them. Maintenance requests ignored or never followed up on. Non responsive property managers - often just flat out rude and unprofessional. The property managers here are by far the worst I ve ever encountered. Upon vacating the property, they tried to withhold bond (luckily I had an abundance of photographs taken when I moved in so that didn t work well for them). Not surprisingly the bond was quickly returned along with a final serving of unnecessary unprofessionalism towards the customer. Rude. Disorganised. Patronising. Incompetent. Absolutely avoid at all costs.
Kimberley was a pleasure to deal with over my tendency. After the lease had ended it become an extremely challenging relationship. Throughout that period active communication by Kimberley made the situation tolerable. I would recommend Kimberley and felt her level of professionalism and communication exceptional.
Rendina have provided reliable, prompt service as my property management agency for 7 years. Consistent inspections and feedback, with tenants being kept happy too. Lou has provided great advice on my property purchases on several occasions also. I would highly recommend Rendina Real Estate.
I rented with Rendina for almost 5 years. High turnover of agents - the last one we had (I won't name him) was horrific. He wouldn't return calls or emails; it was only after contacting him more than half a dozen times that you would get a response. E.g.1: in winter our ducted heating stopped working - it took 4 weeks for anything to be done despite countless requests. E.g.2: we wanted to know the date we were paid up to to arrange a removalist - it took 2 weeks just to get that, affecting our ability to move when we wanted to. E.g.3: it took more than 4 weeks to get our bond back (the place was left in an immaculate condition) and we had to get Consumer Affairs involved. The list goes on. I would say if you want to rent in Kensington, or you have an investment property and want an agent who is responsive and professional, avoid Rendina at all costs.
We have been owners of multiple properties for the last twenty three years. Experienced the quality of individuals who have been looking after our estates. Most of them have been unreliable and lazy. Incompetent but all with gift of the gab. It has been a revelation to meet this young man with so much honesty and commitment. He has been prompt courteous and very diligent. We consider ourselves lucky to have found him and our properties goes wherever he goes. It was smooth sailing from the word go. The team at Rendina, were more than accommodating especially Luana and Cassandra who managed the property in Kensington I was renting. It was a great experience. I was welcomed to the home with a gift hamper filled with household goods. They were extremely thoughtful, and I found them to be extremely attentive to any maintenance issues. I unfortunately had to break my lease due to moving, cassandra made it extremely easy for me to do so, without any hassles. I have just sold my apartment in Parkville with Rendina Real Estate and it was a perfect experience. Not only because the property sold at auction for $125,000 over the reserve a stunning result but because of the unsurpassable service I received from Rendina. Nathan Collyer, the agent who handled my property, was superb honest, meticulous, very experienced and highly efficient, helpful, considerate, kind and courteous. He was everything one could possibly hope for in an agent. He paid careful attention to every detail of the marketing campaign, gave excellent advice, made no unrealistic claims or predictions, and gave me detailed feedback after every open for inspection and again after he had followed up every person who enquired or came to look. In the final week before the auction he gave me a detailed printout that included the performance of every website on which the property appeared and listed every person who had looked at the apartment, together with their feedback. Open for inspections were beautifully handled, by Nathan and by the other Rendina agents who came to assist on those occasions. It was a pleasure to work with them, and with Lou Rendina, the wizard auctioneer whose company this is. Lou says they aim to give 6-star service. And that's exactly what they do. Their service, and their integrity, are incomparable. I cannot recommend Rendina highly enough.
