Never paid a penny on any dental bills. Lied repeatedly. Tried to cancel 6 times. The one time I succeded temporarily through my credit card bank, they went to Visa and had it reapplied to autopay. They're scammers and criminals. I filed a complaint with the state attorney general's office and will proceed with a lawsuit.
Stay away from this fraudulent company.
This company is a money hungry, very pushy, group and I recommend you avoid them. Never experienced so much incompetence in my life!!

I was told the insurance company would reimburse their portion on the bill so I just paid my dental Bill's myself in full expecting to get reimbursed by the insurance company nope I literally received a $1 check what a scam!!

Ridiculously difficult to contact - NO help when you DO get them on the phone - least effective web interface EVER - HORRIBLE customer service!! When I called to cancel my plan the DIDN'T and say I never called in because THEIR rep didn't put anything in the system and will not refund my money. I regret EVER selecting this company... WORST EVER! RUN!
Pretty horrible customer service. Would not work with me during a pandemic to remedy a TWO DAY claim difference. Money is definitely more important to them than people.

A bit disappointed with my first interactions with Renaissance Dental. Signed up through the Marketplace, paid first premium (confirmed cleared with my bank) and never received a confirmation email of any sort as receipt and/or with subscriber number. Call to customer service was disappointing in that representative sounded annoyed with my kind inquiry.
I have never had any problems. My premium did increase but the amount I am accountable to pay decreased.
Most dentist are unfamiliar with them, but I found an orthodontist that doesn t mind and a oral surgeon that does not discriminate.
Sooooo for the benefits that they have already provided I must give them 5 stars. I do not have any malice feelings towards Rennaissance as of now. Keep you guys posted!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAM INSURANCE!!! I paid $66.00 every month for a year and I got a bill for $277.00 on my FIRST and ONLY visit for this year and they only paid $35.00 on it! And I was supposed to have been FULLY INSURED! makes more sense just to save up money and forget about dental insurance.
Worst customer service EVER. Now it's NOT the people... it's the fact that you can't ever speak to anyone, there's no fax number, no email address and if you don't live on the east coast there's zero service in the afternoon. So you can't contact anyone when you need help. Im a west coast step child apparently so that's why I am cancelling my coverage :(
I had an emergency root canal and Dr Pollard and his team were very responsive to my needs. Excellent treatment and very friendly staff. 10/10!
Utter incompetence. Have spent countless wasted hours with customer "service". First, just trying to be "found" in their system even though I was a paying customer. Then after getting a routine dental checkup, having to argue with the bill they sent me for weeks and weeks (the entire purpose of the insurance is that one annual visit is covered!). One of the worst companies I have ever interacted with.
It does not help at all do not help, pay for a service that does not use nothing covers the plan does not appear in any of the offices do not reimburse the money is a garbage I do not recommend you pay too much to not have any service .... disgusted more everything that I can read here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT
Great service, comparable payouts and premiums. Dental insurance plans can be frustrating when you are paying out of pocket. Do your research if you have complaints with this company they are as good if not better than others out there.
I have had this plan for 3 years. Each year my cleanings and x-rays routine were covered and my basic dental was real affordable. I like the feeling of having dental insurance. It makes me go to the dentist. LOL They don't call to remind you about a cleaning unless you have insurance. I was reminded by my Dentist of a cleaning on December 19. We must get the last of my benefits in before the year is out, said my dentist. , The premium did go up 120.00 this year, but I have been here 3 years and don't want to start from year 1 again. One must stay with a dental plan for at least 2 years to see its benefits. No instant discounts in Dental. Good Luck Y'all. I am a satisfied customer. P.S. I like calling in to make a payment. It is cheaper than a stamp and the lady that has answered the phone for the last 2 years is real nice.
Misrepresented their plan coverage to my wife and she has been on hold trying to reach someone to clarify or cancel coverage for over an hour.
I wish I could sue them. They lie said my cleaning was 100% covered and covered less than half. Said my crown would be 50% covered and covered $285 dollars over and over $1200 crown. This company goes by set set dollar figure that must be from the 1920's. If a lawyer reads this I would love to talk to them. Basically I got a check for $400 and I am paying $360 a year. Cancel your plan now. You will save $0 dollas. I give them negative 1 million stars. Cried all day. Have to come up with $800.
Signed up with them because they said that they were in network with my dentist. My dentist had no clue who they were. After calling 4 times today and was given three other companies my dentist said that they haven't worked with them since 2015. Don't fall for this scam of a company.
