Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Hotel Review

We stayed here for 2 nights during Feb vacation. Booked 2 queen room and used Marriott SNA to upgrade to a king Jr. suite which is twice the size of a regular room.
Staff are very friendly and responsive. The lounge is closed during COVID pandemic so we got vouchers for breakfast in the lobby restaurant. The size are very nice and the food are well prepared to be taking back to our room.
The location is next to the port for Princess cruise and there are a few restaurants with in walking distance.

Pictures just like the website. Would recommend & come back! The front desk ladies were very nice. The pool area was also very nice. Location is walking distance to restaurants, dollar tree, walgreens, ross. Also bus stop is right across the street and takes you to straight to the beach or Jungle boat cruise ships.

Well I'm going to put this in here because this is my first time checking into what is finally I really nice hotel so just because I just checked in they were really nice they really helpful the updated my room even with my reservation everything else they took care of us they put us in the bedroom we got what we wanted so yes it's a really nice hotel I would recommend saying that the pool looks a little small they do have a spa they have a restaurant at breakfast everything is nice they're really nice people really nice day so far

Clean and comfortable rooms. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The TV in our room didn t work, but we never reached out to have it serviced because we didn t spend too much time in the room. The pool area looked very nice. Drinks and service at the hotel bar were both great.

Gorgeous hotel! However, I did feel bad staying there with my toddler and infant because the clientel were mostly people on business trips and airline crews. No one made me feel bad about it but I was paranoid about my kids being kids such as the baby crying or my toddler playing. Thankfully no one complained, but I would think twice about taking kids here and would probably look for a hotel with more of a family feel. My kids were literally the only 2 children in the hotel for the entire stay. This is just an observation that I wish I had been aware of before and it in no way reflects on the quality of this amazing hotel and its staff! You will love the hotel and the location.

Great spot for groups, make sure you get a discount, otherwise it's priced higher than it's worth. Great customer service and clean rooms though.

Loud, terrible clientele- if you are looking for a nice, quiet and upscale hotel this is absolutely not the choice. As a Marriott Gold Member, I will not stay here again. Worst scenario, sitting in my room as I can hear every conversation around me in every room on a club level floor and no rooms to change to and too late to find a different hotel. Worst night. Do not book this hotel.

It's a great launch pad to strike out and see the best of Fort Lauderdale or relax on or near the grounds. Hospitable and welcoming staff make you want to come back. Great cafe and waterside restaurant right in the same plaza. Great interior design as well, have to say.

There is nothing special about this hotel. It is very blow average. They don't clean the rooms even if you call and ask. If you want to get extra towels you have to walk down to the lobby to get them. Everything is an extra charge despite the almost $200 a night that you are paying. Avoid at all costs. There has to be better options in the area.

Beautiful pool and jacuzzi area. Post Covid, I would hope management would ensure the highest level of satisfaction for their guests. Something as simple as ordering some extra towels, never happened, even after calling the front desk twice. Outlets in bathroom not working and the refrigerator not working. Came back from brunch and our bathroom was flooded from the room above. Not their fault, but at least send someone to help move us to another room. We are the ones inconvenienced, not you!
