We payed for an extra months rent when we moved out of our nightmare apartment. And then seen that we were still charged for it. They tacked on a huge fee making our total $3800 On my credit report since they never called or mailed me anything about owing them I am disgusted. When I called to talk to someone to see what the issue was they were rude and refused to disclose any information. No sense of professionalism or customer service from here at all. Not to mention after they took over our complex they never answered our work orders for broken stove, ac, outlets and a fridge. When we moved in it was disgusting in the first place then when they took over they wanted to raise the rent . We had to fix everything ourselves.

The person Kaylynn de Alva that is in charge , doesn't respond to any issues of the property; she takes long to send somebody to fix the problem. Onces my sister's furnace wasn't working.she (Kaylynn de Alva) took 2 months to fix it, my sister has 3 kids and her house was so cold they all got sick. She didn't care at all! She takes forever to respond. Next time make sure to ask for a real, real professional ! Or rent with a different agency !

Beware! I rented an apartment which had a badly constructed unsafe front entrance and the apartment had clogged dryer vents. My apartment complex constantly had criminal activity. Remax Premier Property will not work with you if you break a lease due to unsafe living conditions they will have a company named Credit Collection Service of Nevada hunt you down and garnish your wages without negotiations. Please, ask a lot of questions prior to entering a lease because this is a very selfish and untrustworthy company.

Although this was my first experience in renting, I'm fairly certain it has been my worst. Like every other review here I've talked to nothing but a voice-mail and a front desk worker telling me someone is busy and can't see me. Every time, any time. After three years of having a broken air conditioner it has still never been fixed. Kaylynn also allowed my old roommate to move out without ever taking back his key so for our safety we asked for new locks. We were charged 50$ but our locks were never rekeyed. Luckily after 5 months of telling them they never rekeyed the place they dropped the charge. Now the condo we rent has been sold, which we had to show to people that wanted to buy it. Remax wouldn't answer calls about the lock box on our door so we showed people. Of the two real estate agents we talked to both claimed that nobody would answer a call. This office is absolutely horrible. I can't see how the company gained so much power with an office like this.

By and Large this company has been okay, however a recent experience has me wondering. Of course when you sign a lease, you have to be careful and they usually have you over a barrel. But, recently Premier Properties had the gall to have a sign company call me to get my approval to have them fix a sign that had blown down in the wind.
The sign is on a pole high above the complex and has several 15" by 3 foot panels which we (each tenant) paid to have put up there. When the wind blew down the whole back side of the sign, Premier Properties asked the Yesco Sign company to call four of the tenants and let them know that the sign's replacement would be paid for by four of the tenants on the pole and that we would split the cost between us.
What they did not say without me prying it out of the sign guy Brett was that we would have to not only pay for our signs, but four of us would also be paying for the structure of the box that holds our signs. So in order to put up our 300.00 sign (including installation), we would have to pay 800.00 which would include the braces and brackets behind our sign.
Not to mention, the owner and Premier Properties is charging a little less than 10,000.00 per year for insurance! Shouldn't the whole thing be paid for by insurance since it was wind damage?

Paige Rivera at RE/MAX Premier Properties is unprofessional in every sense of the word. My mother was quite shocked when I read to her Paige's e-mails to me. Moreover, she felt fine charging me $135 for subletting my lease despite there being no gap in time between when I left and when the new tenant moved in.
I did some digging and have discovered that Paige not only went to the same undergraduate school I did, but also graduated with a major in biology like I have. Most people with a concentration in that field aspire to be a healthcare professional, so it appears Paige was rejected and settled for being a lowly property manager. Unlike her, I'm going somewhere in life since I'm a pharmacy student at one of the top pharmacy schools in the country and I'm expected to graduate at only 26 years old (4 years for a bachelor degree and 4 years for a doctorate of pharmacy degree). I hope you enjoy your pathetic paychecks!

They will do the minimal effort to do anything to save money. I had my car broken into 2 times in their parking garage. No cameras in the one downtown even through they have sign that says they do. The walls are really thin. The two things i liked was that i can pay rent online and the studio i was in had a washer and drier. Hence the two stars.

We have been through several property managers at 1185 California Ave. and this one is the worst! It has taken months for them to fix a dangerous step broken awhile ago and people have fallen there several times including my wife. The sign in front of the property blew down and several of the signs fell out. The structure which holds the signs was destroyed by the wind and it is the responsibility of the property management to fix it. Instead they came at three of the tenants including me with a quote to fix it so that tenants would pay for something which should be covered by insurance. There was an open circuit panel open on the back of the building which housed several breakers for the building's lights, etc. It remained unlocked and open until we purchased and put a padlock on it and notified the management of the problem. We notified the management of our action, telling them we had a key for them to pick up. Months later someone from the management came by for another purpose and if I hadn't noticed him and given him the key, that key would still be on my desk waiting for them to pick it up.
Several light poles in the complex had torn and tattered flags on them, and instead of fixing them, came to us with a proposal to have individual businesses replace them with ones which reflected those businesses. When that didn't fly, they just left them on the poles and they looked like flags on a ghost ship. After many months the flags have been replaced, but the anchors on the bottom are loose and the flags blow around. They do not follow up on the work being done. I today just went out and sprayed down the front of our business because no one has been here to do that in a very long time. POOR is an understatement ... I wish there was a way to give them negative 5 stars!

Submitted my application 7 business days ago and was informed the process takes 4-5 days to complete and receive a response regarding my requested property. If they need further information or verification, I was told the property manager would contact me. I started trying to follow up on day 5 with several voice mails to the property manager and front staff. I submitted my desired move date as 12-14 and still haven't received any communication. Strangely unprofessional for a corporate property management company. Long-short, Re/Max, you're welcome for my non-refundable application fee that didn't go anywhere! This is literally the first negative review I've ever publicly published, but they quite nearly left me without a place to live before traveling for the holidays. Happily, I found another property manager who was quite a bit more responsive.

They did not even bother asking if we were interested in the places we saw.
One place needed the carpet and padding replaced because of animal pee..the place reeked of it...no way could anyone live there with that condition. They'd end up with all sorts of sinus issues.The lady new and did not seem surprised, it was a common complaint and the reason this apartment was not getting rented. It was a cute place ...too.
Me and my husband are moving again and I liked places through them..but I am so hesitant to actually go look because of my previous experience with them. It does not matter how busy this place is. Last year we ended up with a company that is extremely busy and they managed to get us into a place within a day or two after I told them how soon we needed to move. This place seems like they would not have been helpful in that way.

This may only apply to a small number of people but I hope that people who support veterans will take it in to account. I was told by this company that the Post 9/11 GI Bill does not count as a source of income even though it mandates that you be a full time student to receive anything. I was told that if I wanted to rent from them that I should get another job. I found this incredibly disrespectful and frankly ignorant seeing as the GI bill pays double what my job before school did. Just another example of companies that pay lip service to veterans publicly and insult them privately. I hope you take this into consideration before patronizing this company.

'Premier Properties' is not what the name suggests. Whoever they have turning over the apartments when someone moves out and cleaning and fixing it before the next tenant moves in is either inexperienced or they just don't care enough or are not allowed enough time to do it right! It's the details that make something worthing of calling themselves 'premier' -- they are not it.

This is my first time renting from a large corporation, and I am overall, not satisfied. I feel like, my concerns are never addressed. They never work with me on anything. From the very start, they couldn't meet me at the place I was renting, I had to go to the other side of town, get the keys, leave a deposit - go check out the place, and all within their business hours. This was just a huge pain (at the time I worked during their business hours, so I had to take time off work to accommodate them). Then they charged me more than what was listed for the pet deposit... whatever... I paid it. Then they sent out an email asking if they could remove some garbage cans from our property, I replied to the email saying I would like to keep my garbage can, and a week later, only my garbage can was gone. It takes way too long to get things fixed, I reported issues and the landlord came over, brought the things to fix the issues, and then just stored them in my house - they have been sitting there for a year now. When I renewed my lease, I asked them if those things could be fixed, especially since rent was increasing, they said yes - but then nothing ever came of it. I asked for a parcel box so I could receive packages so the homeless people who live behind our unit don't steal them - they told me to get a PO box because they are unwilling to provide a box for packages.
Bottom line, there is zero customer service. You pay them, you can live there. But don't expect your property to be maintained, or things to be fixed. You will have to constantly hound them if you want something done. You will always have to leave a message and response times can vary between a couple days or a couple weeks. I feel like as a customer it s their job to provide service - and they simply don't. They will nickel and dime you at every junction. It's all about the money - not community relationships or unit management. I've been living in my unit for about a year and a half now and if it wasn't so hard to find somewhere else in Reno I would have left by now because I just hate the interaction I have with them. I feel like a money cow to them and nothing else. Bare minimum.
They could improve this. They could follow up on service request. They could answer calls. They could respect your wishes when they ask to do something and you say no. They could meet you half way on improvements. They could check in and see if people are satisfied after work has been completed . And a big one, they could give us a freaking parcel box.
Other things that would help would be doing a little extra when working with residents or potential residents. Things like, meeting folks at the potential property you know, answer questions, address concerns and issues together. They could be timelier in request for repairs. I d be happy if I felt like they just cared.

I followed up with a call and was told that they would make a decision by Friday and I would here back from Ashley, the property manager. Now, two weeks later and 3 to 4 follow up calls, non-returned voicemails, and ignored emails, I am just done. I am disgusted with how unprofessional this place is. The front office will lie to your face and tell you said property manager is unavailable to talk for 'insert reason here' Every. Single. Time. Basically, what I'm assuming is that they keep the applications open to get more money from application fees. I'm at a loss here. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever do business here again.
