I have heard bad things about REM Ramsey..... Do yourself a favor and stay away.

REM ruined my credit. I would not recommend REM to anyone.

I ve worked for Rem Ramsey for 8 months until I called it quits. When I started at the house there were no supervisor at the house, I was not only doing my my job but was also doing tasks of a supervisor position. The house was disorganized & everything was out of place. Clients at the home could never get along with one another. There s always one client that just seems like they really don t need to be put in a home where others are constantly disruptive and annoying! I sure would be pissed if I couldn t even get a goodnight sleep at my own house. Majority of the time I leave my shift with a migraine, drained & distressed. The rate pay $11.35 which is never worth the amount of work we as DSP s do. We are always short staffed and many of us work 80+ hrs. They call us at our busiest times to ask if we re able to come in and when we don t pick up they harass us with voicemail messages asking to call them back immediately with the worst tone of voice. I have been abused by clients and treated unfairly by managers. Managers don t care how you feel or what you say. All they care about is you coming in for your shift even if that means you get stuck in a ditch on those cold winter days, they need you to come in or even worst when you were in the ER all last night and have called in sick but they won t care. You come to your shift or you are written up. This is extremely unfair, you want us to come in when it s short staffed but when a personal emergency occurs we get in trouble for not coming in? They re policy is if you plan on being gone, notify us in advance. Once that s done we as DSPs must find our own replacement which is hard because no one wants to work. We still get written up either way.. The pay rate is unfair, we are not paid the same rate although they advertise during interview every DSP gets paid $11.35. Some of my coworkers were making $14 & above. When a supervisor came to the house she never does her job. She was constantly gossiping and controlling. There was always drama amongst the coworkers. I truly hated this job but I rarely had time to even look for other places for work. This place took away time from my family, social life and most importantly my mental health. I felt like I was holding heavy pressure on my back every time I came in for my shift. This has been the worst place I worked, I am so glad I quit working at this place. I m at a better place in my life right now. If there s one thing I learned was your safety and mental health matter first before anyone. I thank god for giving me the courage to finally call it quits!

The worst company to work for. They over work you, for the little pay that they offer. The PDS are horrible no supervisor does there job. The DSPs are under paid. But do all of the work. This company need revamping.

REM Ramsey is a wonderful company to work for and does a great job at providing services to a diverse array of individuals. I highly recommend REM Ramsey!

I thoroughly enjoy working at REM Ramsey. I have never worked with a more dedicated group of people. The care and commitment shown to the individuals served is unparalleled.

I would like to aay thanks to all the people from capstone that was there for me in last 13 years of my life i will cherish all of you from the bottom of my heart.... you guys have changed me for the better of me... i love REM they are awesome and they have help me through alot of stuff. Thanks again for helping me improve in my life.. you all know who you are

STAY AWAY FROM REM RAMSEY.....YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

Was not the place for me hopefully they ll have a charge of Hart with new CEO but. The staff were good at the time

Not recommended....... I would give zero stars if i could.

I used to live at a REM housing facility and had no idea that most the residents that lived there were retarded... There was a guy that lived above me who would keep me awake all night making weird noises i had to call the police on a couple times. I would not recommend REM to anyone.

REM Ramsey is an incredible company that is dedicated and committed to providing excellent care to their consumers, as well as to their employees. I would highly recommend REM Ramsey to anyone wanting to gain experience in the human services industry.
