My home from home in Hamburg. Situated opposite the grand lake. Ease of access to 'Central Station' and good transport connections generally. The rooms I have stayed in are functional comfortable if a touch on the small side for a big guy like me. A high quality continental breakfast is available providing a great start to the day. An excellent choice if in town for business or a city break
Very nice hotel and staff was wonderful and very helpful.
Room are ample, especially the bathroom. Room got a bit warm at night with the windows closed to block outdoor noises. Staff was very helpful and accommodating for stamps, parking, booking a harbor cruise, and storing our bags before we checked in. Elevator is quite small, but that wasn't an issue really once we realized we'd need to split up.
Requested rooms close together on booking and again directly with the hotel as we were traveling with a large young family. I got rooms on separate floors. Which is not ideal.
I contacted the hotel directly to ask them to set up the rooms in a certain way ie one adult plus 2 kids in one room and one adult and three kids in another room. On checkin I was told that the booking I had made was for two adults in one room and three adults in another. So we were short a bed in one room.
I also made a special request for a birthday cake to be left to the room this did not happen.
On checking out of the hotel the receptionist requested payment again for the stay even though I paid on check in. Only I had the receipt for payment, that could have caused a major issue.
I was on the third floor with young children and there was a door that opens in with a small railing to stop falling over(not safe at all in my opinion). The door was also not working as it seemed to be coming off its hinges.
The pillows were awful and there is no air conditioning in the room.
I would not recommend at all I did not have a good experience.
Very friendly, staff were very helpful,the breakfast was amazing mini bar in the room beer served even when the bar was closed all in all a very pleasant stay.
Stayed only for a night. Among the 3 different hotels I stayed in Germany during the week, they have the friendsliest and helpful staff. The good view when walking along the lake is definitely a bonus.
Room: Basic, clean and comfortable bed.
Location: Walking distance to good eatery and supermarket. The only downside is the distance to the central station, as it is at least a 7 to 10 mins walk. Not suitable if you have large luggage or travelling on a winter night.

The hotel has a older, classy feel. Spacious bathrooms have a good tub, towel heaters, and double sinks. However, the bed had a stiff ridge in the middle, like two smaller beds were put together.
Location is great. A building with character. Facilities in the reduced due to Corona. Good service. On site parking with Tesla residential charger. Rooms without airco.
