Large selection of beer including 1 cider. The cooler wasn't up to the task even after the sun set. We got the meatball & ricotta pizza, it had 1 meatball that was cut into 8 pieces and spread over a 12" crust with about 3 tablespoons of ricotta, the crust was VERY salty and stretched so thin that despite supporting 1 piece with both hands it still tore and dumped what little was on the pizza down my shirt. Let's also mention that the outer 2-3 inches were completely bare of anything. Extremely disappointed in paying $16 for a "craft pizza" from a "craft pizza" place and leaving with a stained shirt and still hungry. But it looked like a great place to get drunk! My wife did however enjoy going downstairs as this building used to be the City of Tucson morgue.

The pizza was excellent! Me and my friend got the Meatball and Ricotta and the Yukon Gold. They were both delicious! The only thing that was less than ideal is that the couple at the bar next to us got something (not sure what exactly) that just smelled awful. Still had a great meal and it's given us something to wonder about. Tempted to go back just to see if we can identify that terrible smelling dish. Maybe it was the Brussel sprouts!
It is hard to find the place. No free parking space available. But they have Veriety of bears and pizzas. We went in as big group of 50 people and Had a great time. We got seperate space for our celebration.
One of my favorite places in Tucson. Great food. Great drinks. And most importantly, the staff is always on point. I go to Reilly's about twice a month and have NEVER had a less than favorable experience. Last but not least... Make it a point to get down to the speakeasy!
Stopped by to order take-out and tried their fennel sausage and red pepper pizza as well as their risotto small plate. At $15 and $10 respectively, I was expecting either amazing food or large portions yet sadly, I received neither. The pizza was good, particularly the fennel sausage, but the crust was a little doughy and the cheese was unimpressive. At around 10in for $15, I was disappointed. The risotto was similarly disappointing as it lacked any real flavor and was quite small for the price. On the positive side, the place has several different areas that each have their own vibe, the main restaurant, beer garden, and basement bar are unique and cool. The service was also great and the bartender (who takes take-out orders) was excellent. The beer and wine list also looked good. I'd be willing to try again and eat in one of the restaurant's areas to experience some of the premium that you pay in food costs.
Poor service in evening and you feel like you are in 2 or 3 different establishments under 1 roof with same name. If you are seated outside you get 2nd rate service if any at all. Love pizza it's great but not returning for crappy setup and service.
A large group of us went for a Birthday on a Saturday night and the food was delicious! The waitress messed up one of the appetizers...but that's to be expected with a large group, right? We waited quite a bit for her to come back and tell her it was incorrect, in fact, the hostess had to go get her since she was no where to be found. She did make up for it by being extra attentive the rest of the night. Overall the food was excellent and the service was good!
While the flavor of food is subjective, here it was obviously fresh and expertly prepared...thus the elevated price. I have been here before with friends and my wife and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. We went with the fennel sausage/tomato pizza, she had the apple salad and I the stuffed mushrooms. All were excellent. I chose the downtown brown dark ale, which is like Guinness, but even better, served ice cold.
While quantity served is more along the European norm, I would much rather have that than a mountain of mediocrity.
Service was great without being in-your-face like some places seem to think must be the practice for an excellent rating.
Seriously next level pizza. We had the speck and egg. One of the most memorable pies, crust that we've had. The cauliflower was incredible. Good drinks and extremely fast service on a busy Friday night. Highly recommended.
Great place for pizza and cocktails in downtown Tucson. I really dig their crust and topping combinations are on point. The chef's board, salad plus a pizza is a perfect dinner for two. They also have so many seating options. It's great to enjoy a pizza and a beer in the outdoor beer garden. Also great place for hosting special events or large groups. Recently they added a $10 lunch special that includes a smaller pizza and a salad.
Hosted our company's Holiday party in the inside portion of the beer garden. Service, food, and drinks were incredible! Great gluten free and vegan options. Amazing and reasonably priced, beer, wine, and cocktails.
Want a boujee drink and some fresh made oven fired pizza? This is your place. There's also a speakeasy under the building that can make any drink you've ever heard of. One of my favorites in Tucson!
Best pizza ever and the Brussel sprout appetizer is to die for..... A must try.... Even if you hate brussel sprouts. Love the atmosphere. Service is great. We were told that after 6:30 there is less of a wait. Great back yard for outdoor seating.
This is a very nice spot for a date night or dinner with close friends. I really enjoyed the food and the drink options they have. Also, they have a really nice outside patio and different sections in which you can go drink after (or before) dinner. The downstairs bar is creepy probably because of the history of this location being a Morgue in the past but it was so fun to look around. Take a friend from out of town to this location. It is so fun even to just look around, grab a drink, and then go walk the rest of downtown.
The pizza is quite good, but the outdoor bar with its extensive tap list, the indoor bar with an extensive cocktail list, and the downstairs speakeasy are the stars.
My parents, who are in their 70s, and I went there for some dinner (Oct 8th, 2015) and we arrived at 550pm for our 6pm reservation. Little did we know that we would be leaving ten minutes later.
My mother ordered a glass of Cabernet, my father a beer, and I was going to have the bartenders choice cocktail. Our server, who had to be let known that she had a table, came over to take our drink order and when we obliged, she then asked to see our id's. Like my parents id's, who are old..
My parents didnt bring their id's because they didnt drive, I did. Pop brought his credit card and thats all that was brought by them. The server said that it was the law that all patrons who order adult beverages must present a valid id.. That is patently wrong and subject to a discrimination lawsuit.
My father, who is a professor of Hospitality Management at two colleges in Tucson, which includes alcohol law, expressed in no uncertain terms that their interpretation of the law is wrong. He asked for the manager on duty and the GM came to the table.
She said that she just went through an alcohol beverage serving course and that it is against the law to serve without an id and that she didnt believe a professor.
Its my belief that they just got busted for underage serving and thats the reason why the blanket decision to apply a policy that is discriminatory in nature and open to lawsuits.
If you want to enjoy a great meal, walk across the street to Cafe Poca Cosa as we were gladly handed a glass of wine, a beer, and a cocktail without showing our id's. If it was a state law, as so wrongfully stated by the server and the General Manager, why were we not subject to it 10 feet away on the other side of the street.
Its obvious that the restaurant owner/s has directed an ill fated attempt to keep their nose out of the liquor board trouble that their own employees are trying to implement.
I would stay away from here as much as possible as the staff and owner/s have absolutely no idea what they are doing and if you are a senior citizen prepare to be discriminated..
Really excellent, the most flavorful crust I have had on any pizza. Great options for modern Italian/American fare including wine and beer. The small pies are perfect for sharing/sampling and they will customize each upon request.
A downtown Tucson staple. We love Reilly, great food, great drinks, plenty of space with 4 different seating options! Dining Room, Downstairs (which is really cool), patio and the beer garden! Keep up the great work Reilly.
I can't quite put my finger on it but I'm never thrilled with the vibe. Can get kinda packed with fraternity bros, so it's always slow...Good beer selection tho!
Great location, great old building, beautifully decorated...we arrived for Happy Hour greeted by a lovely hostess, sat in the dinning room. It wasn't busy at all when we arrived, we waited a very long time to get served our drinks...the bartender was obviously very inexperienced and rude. That aside, the pizza was the best we've had the crust was so delicious. After waiting so long for drinks, they rushed us grabbing our plates. We then ventured down stairs to check out the bar...great ambience fantastic bartenders loved this place... Can't wait to go again, hopefully they will work on their wait staff.
Went to the tough luck club downstairs, loved the vibe and atmosphere. Another plus is it's nice and cool down there, a good escape from the heat. It was pretty busy when we went on the weekend so it was hard to find a seat but we did get service right away. They had good specials and the place was very laid back. I will definitely return, maybe on a week night.
I would love to be able to comment on the food or service, but I didn t even get the chance. I brought my family here and thought everything was fine since about half the tables were empty, but somehow the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. The hostess generously let us sit outside which didn t last too long. Once we realized we didn t have menus, I went back in to ask for some and was instructed to go to the back bar to get menus since apparently the dogs like us who sit outside can t order off the same menu as the normal people. Reluctantly, I went to the back bar to get the outside menu. After standing there for a few minutes and making eye contact on multiple occasions with the bartender (who by the way was not helping a customer at the time) and still getting ignored, I gave up. I don t know what it takes to be elite enough to get a seat at this joint, or even what it takes to be treated like everyone else, but I do know that I will never be back and will do my best to make sure my friends and family don t waste their time either.
Very nice place with a pretty funny history about the building.Service was spot on along with the fire baked pizza. Can be noisy from bad acoustics. So glad we ate there.
I got a pizza craving while visiting Tucson and this looked like the place. It was. I started with some apps. Roasted cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and meatballs. All were great, but the meatballs were perfect: moist, flavorful, and not too dense. I moved on (barely) to a white pie with mushrooms and added prosciutti. There is nothing better than a freshly made pizza like this fresh from the high temp oven to table in a flash and full of great ingredients. Service was friendly and helpful. Some nice brews on tap, including a very good sour.
Delicious brick-oven pizza! I was thoroughly impressed. We didn't have to wait long to receive our pizzas, and they came out hot and fresh. I got the vegan pizza with added nutritional yeast, while my boyfriend got the salami and pepperoni combo. I would definitely go back again. I also loved how it was in a historic building, which just added to the overall energy and experience!
An amicable staff that served up a creative butternut squash and pomegranate (if I remember correct). I hope Reilly craft pizza will be there for a long time to come.
Food and drinks were so great. Staff very helpful. Make reservations before you get there or there will be a little bit of a wait. Beer Garden was a wonderful place to wait. Free samples of creative beers.
Great atmosphere, whether outdoors on the patio, downstairs in the tough luck club, or in the main dining room. Great beer and wine selection and the food is on point every time. Have spent a lot of evenings here as a great place to bring out of town guests and work colleagues.
This place has always been a favorite of mine. While the kitchen quality has gone down, the bar quality has skyrocketed since opening (and honestly, a quality drink can make any food better). What I like best is how the establishment is segmented into several regions, from the main dining to the back patio and beer garden, all the way down to the Tough Luck club in the basement.
This place is pretty great. I ordered the roast vegetable sandwich - but their homemade chips! They put herbs and parmesan cheese on top! The husband had a couscous salad which was delightful. The restaurant itself is pretty cool - set in an old tucson building with high ceilings and a fun vibe.
