While the flavor of food is subjective, here it was obviously fresh and expertly prepared...thus the elevated price. I have been here before with friends and my wife and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. We went with the fennel sausage/tomato pizza, she had the apple salad and I the stuffed mushrooms. All were excellent. I chose the downtown brown dark ale, which is like Guinness, but even better, served ice cold.

While quantity served is more along the European norm, I would much rather have that than a mountain of mediocrity.

Service was great without being in-your-face like some places seem to think must be the practice for an excellent rating.
