I've worked with Regent Protection for almost 4 years. I've always had goals to excel in customer service and building relationships with people. Regent was the one and only security company where it allowed me to develop, I call excellent customer service. Regent also holds their guards accountable to ensure that they are following through. Regent Protection is very team based; talk about goals that we can achieve all together. many training programs for guards, one on one training and goal oriented training. if I have any concerns, I can easily address them to Regent and they will resolve issues as soon as possible. I enjoy working for Regent and this is why I am still here.

The building I live in uses Regent and I've seen firsthand how little they care about their job, blinding disregard for safety, and ineptitude. Recently, our building's front entrance went under construction which forced residents to use the door in the back alley. When myself and another tenant suggested to the guard on duty that he should keep an eye on the back door to make sure residents find their way safely (we're downtown and there are often aggressive drug addicts in the unlit alley) and his reply was "I'm here to make sure nobody uses the front door. Outside is the job of the police, the tenants can call them if they run into a problem."

Administration clerk P.F. is a big prevaricator. She is abusing the system. I am pretty sure. She has fake accounts. Where she is using relatives' names and accounts. She is a big drama queen.

Used to work here. Not real security, just "pretty" security.

The day I start my employment with RPS I was as on call security guard, but, soon the company offered me a full-time position as on site guard. I worked on that site for 2 years and 8 months. Most of the mangers of the offices come to my desk and introduced themselves and shacked my hand and most of them approached me with respect, and they have talked about me among themselves even to our head office. It made me to be proud and made me to be more effective on my job. I have received a new year and appreciation gift card from our CEO of $300 plus some other small gift for every occasion from tenants and visitors like patients.
Since August 2015 my role has been changed as on site guard to Mobile Guard and then to company s Mobile Supervisor.
Since then I have seen a lot of changes like: Training; which I really wanted for all our guards and I have taken some training myself.
Regarding new website, I am sure that it is our company s image that show us who we are and what we are capable of. The other thing is our uniform and equipment. I am pleased to say that we are have the right uniform and the body armour for Mobile team and on site guards are important and I am thankful for the management decisions, and the decision regarding us are admirable. It shows not only how we are care about the safety of our clients, but also, we care of our employee safety as well.
I am very assured and confident that we will have good days ahead. And as a team member I always feel good and team work is better and the result of the teamwork is desirable. As long we have professional management I am sure we will have a better future and we will grow.

Half of the time you end up doing double shifts because nobody comes to replace you. If you enjoy minimum wage and not having anything explained to you go ahead and work for these ladies

Overall I will honestly say that Regent protection services is one of the best security company to work for in the Calgary area.

Worked with this company on different contracts. They are so amazing. Professional knowledgeable guards and their customer service department is so helpful. I highly recommend this company for security services.
